During the study of five cases, the choroidal detachment-like echoes, the mass type lesion and the irregular disorganised patterns were encountered. It was noticed, however, that the obtained sonographs depended upon the precipitating cause, the extent [and stage] of inflammation and the associated structural changes as well as the direction of the transducer.
