RESUMO
Visando destacar e analisar a vivência de dilemas pessoais ante a lógica do trabalho imaterial bancário, a presente pesquisa exploratória de orientação qualitativa aliou o suporte teórico oferecido, principalmente, por Bauman, Sennett e Gaulejac ao campo empírico referente ao trabalho bancário. A coleta de dados deu-se por meio da realização de entrevistas individuais semiestruturadas e de grupos focais, que somaram um total de 38 sujeitos da pesquisa. Analisados à luz da literatura pertinente, os resultados indicam que a vivência de dilemas pessoais no trabalho imaterial bancário está relacionada ao medo da incompetência e estigma de perdedor, ao nomadismo involuntário, à captura e dominação do tempo de vida, à corrida individualizada para o mérito, ao medo da estagnação profissional e à saúde na precarização das relações de trabalho.
The present qualitative exploratory research aims to analyze the experience of personal dilemmas in the context of banking immaterial labor. The theoretical support is mainly offered by Bauman, Sennett and Gaulejac. The data collection method used was semi-structured individual interviews and two focus groups, all counting 38 participants. The results were analyzed according to the pertinent literature and they indicate that personal dilemmas in the banking work are related to fear of incompetence stigma; to the involuntary nomadism; to the fact that work captures and dominates time after work; to competition for merit; fear of professional stagnation; and to health conditions under precarious labor relations.

O presente trabalho discute a experiência de instantaneidade, velocidade e urgência que vem caracterizando a sociedade atual e que traz à cena novos personagens, como ilustra a figura do motoboy. Trata-se de uma pesquisa exploratória descritiva que contou com vinte participantes - motoboys de estabelecimentos de delivery de alimentos, e o presidente do sindicato da categoria. Os dados foram coletados através de entrevistas individuais semi-estruturadas, da realização de um grupo focal e de fontes documentais. A análise de conteúdo dos dados considerou o entendimento qualitativo da realidade social à luz da literatura pertinente. Os resultados indicam que o trabalho tipicamente imaterial dos motoboys condiz com a premissa de que "tempo é dinheiro". Em relação aos seus modos de trabalhar e de ser, ressaltam-se: a auto-imagem e a imagem de motoboy na mídia, a imposição e o controle dos frenéticos ritmos temporais pela organização do trabalho, a relação ambígua estabelecida com a sociedade da urgência e o cotidiano do trânsito, que expõe frágeis laços de solidariedade de uma categoria cujos membros não querem ser motoboys para sempre.
The present study discusses the experience of immediacy, speed and urgency that characterizes the present society and brings new figures to the scene, such as the motoboy (motorcycle delivery rider). This is a descriptive exploratory study that included 20 participants - motoboys from food delivery establishments, and their union president. The data were collected in semi-structured individual interviews, during a focus group meeting and in documental sources. The analysis of the data content considered the qualitative understanding of the social reality as perceived in the pertinent literature. The results of the study indicate that the characteristically immaterial work of the motoboys fits the slogan "time is money". The notes in relation to their modes of working and living are: the self-image and the image of the motoboy in the media, the imposition and control of the frenetic temporal pace by the organization of the work, the ambiguous relationship established by the urgency of society and the daily routine in the traffic that exposes the fragile ties of solidarity among a group of people who do not want to be motoboys forever.
