RESUMO

We summarized our accumulated clinical and teaching experiences and explored the regularity of acupuncture needling and teaching. It is of great importance in pressing hand during inserting needle. Stroking and pressing are two crucial parts which deserve more attention, and seldom useage of pressing hand should be abolished. Operating hand needs practice before inserting needle, while it should fully relaxed during inserting. Blending "touching", "stretch" "gathering" "erupting" and "advancing" in single moment, applying appropriate dynamic mode of inserting needle such as "join 3 forces as one" "3 points in a line" expertly and naturally. In addition, enough attention should be paid on "altering direction" and "shifting point". Inserting deftly and powerfully, no/slight sensation, deqi when inserting needle are the highest reflection as an acupuncturist.

RESUMO

To explore the control principles of treatment amount of acupuncture and moxibustion for peripheral facial paralysis. (1) Early stage: in this period, the selected acupoints should be few, therapy should be easy and simple, and the treatment amount should be small and basically constant, which is called constant acupoints and amount. (2) Middle stage: the treatment of this stage should be given with more acupoints and various therapies, the treatment amount should be gradually increasing and reach the peak within a certain time and keep it for an appropriate time, which is called increasing acuponts and amount. (3) Late stage: the treatment at this stage should be given with more acupoints, lesser therapies, and the treatment amount should be gradually decreasding and get the valley point within a certain time, which is called more acupoints and less amount. (4) Sequelae stage: the selection of acupoints at this stage should be focus on areas which there are the obvious symptoms, and solo type of therapy and little treatment amount is required, which is called changing acupoints and little amount. In a word, the best therapeutic effect could be achieved on condition that the control principles of treatment amount for peripheral facial paralysis are followed during the clinical practice.

RESUMO

The purpose of this study is to summarize teaching experiences on channel and acupoints. The method of classified teaching is put forward and approached to explore the law of acupoint teaching. It is held that the method could reduce randomness and enhance appropriateness, rationality and scientific validity of the teaching. Class hours are thus optimized and the best teaching result achieved. Acupoints are classified into 4 categories of core points, focal points, regular points and ordinary points according to their use frequency and theoretical importance. Classification methods, principles and categories are then determined. And content of courses, teaching techniques and requirements are introduced as well. Suggestions are offered on enriching teaching contents, for instance, paraphrasing of the acupoint names, indications, point prescriptions and clinical experiences. Thus the conclusion is made that it is imperative to reform the conventional sort of acupoints classified by only focal points and ordinary points as well as the related teaching methods.
