Objective:To explore the risk factors affecting endometrial lesions after breast cancer surgery, and build a nomogram prediction model.Methods:From Oct. 2019 to Nov. 2021, 103 patients with abnormal bleeding after breast cancer surgery were selected, the clinical data of the patients were collected, and they were divided into the non-lesion group and the lesion group according to whether the endometrial lesion occurred. A Logistic risk regression model was established to analyze the risk factors affecting endometrial lesions in postoperative patients with breast cancer, a nomogram prediction model was constructed and verified, and receiver operating characteristic curve (ROC) analysis was performed to analyze the nomogram model for predicting sensitivityof endometrial lesions.Results:Childbirth history ( OR=37.100, 95% CI: 3.777-527.7, P=0.004), endometrial thickness ( OR=2.489, 95% CI: 1.699-4.007, P<0.001), menopause ( OR=0.099, 95% CI: 0.015-0.499, P=0.009), abnormal bleeding time ( OR=6.922, 95% CI: 2.221-24.800, P=0.002), and types of treatment drugs ( OR=3.738, 95% CI: 1.187-13.200, P=0.030) had statistical significance in predicting endometrial lesions in postoperative patients with breast cancer. Using the above five variables to construct a nomogram model, the consistency of the nomogram in predicting endometrial lesions in postoperative patients with breast cancer was 0.739, and the discrimination was good. The calibration curve showed that the average absolute error between the predicted probability and the actual probability was 0.041,and ROC curve showed that the AUC value of the nomogram model for predicting endometrial lesions was 0.800. Conclusion:Establishing a nomogram model for predicting the risk of endometrial lesions in postoperative patients with breast cancer has good accuracy and high clinical value.

OBJECTIVES@#To investigate the physical growth and dietary characteristics of children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and to analyze their relationship with core symptoms of ADHD.@*METHODS@#A total of 268 children who were newly diagnosed with ADHD in Children's Hospital of Nanjing Medical University from June to December 2020 were included in the ADHD group, and 102 healthy children who underwent physical examination during the same period were selected as the control group. Physical evaluations and dietary surveys were conducted for both groups. ADHD diagnosis and scoring were performed according to the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (5th edition). Factor analysis, Spearman correlation analysis, and mediation analysis were used to study the relationship between core symptoms of ADHD, dietary patterns, and physical growth.@*RESULTS@#The rate of overweight/obesity in the ADHD group was significantly higher than that in the control group (35.8% vs 21.6%, P<0.05). Three dietary patterns were extracted from the food frequency questionnaire: vegetarian dietary pattern, traditional dietary pattern, and snack/fast food pattern. The factor score for the snack/fast food pattern in the ADHD group was higher than that in the control group (P<0.05). There was a significant positive correlation between ADHD symptom scores, snack/fast food pattern factor scores, and body fat percentage (P<0.05). The mediation analysis showed that the snack/fast food pattern played a partial mediating role in the relationship between ADHD symptom scores and body fat percentage, with a mediation proportion of 26.66%.@*CONCLUSIONS@#The rate of overweight/obesity in children with ADHD is higher than that in non-ADHD children. Core symptoms of ADHD are related to dietary patterns and physical growth, with the snack/fast food pattern playing a partial mediating role in the relationship between core symptoms of ADHD and physical growth.

BACKGROUND@#Ventricular remodeling after acute anterior wall ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (AAMI) is an important factor in occurrence of heart failure which additionally results in poor prognosis. Therefore, the treatment of ventricular remodeling needs to be further optimized. Compound Danshen Dripping Pills (CDDP), a traditional Chinese medicine, exerts a protective effect on microcirculatory disturbance caused by ischemia-reperfusion injury and attenuates ventricular remodeling after myocardial infarction.@*OBJECTIVE@#This study is designed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of CDDP in improving ventricular remodeling and cardiac function after AAMI on a larger scale.@*METHODS@#This study is a multi-center, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, parallel-group clinical trial. The total of 268 patients with AAMI after primary percutaneous coronary intervention (pPCI) will be randomly assigned 1:1 to the CDDP group (n=134) and control group (n=134) with a follow-up of 48 weeks. Both groups will be treated with standard therapy of ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI), with the CDDP group administrating 20 tablets of CDDP before pPCI and 10 tablets 3 times daily after pPCI, and the control group treated with a placebo simultaneously. The primary endpoint is 48-week echocardiographic outcomes including left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF), left ventricular end-diastolic volume index (LVEDVI), and left ventricular end-systolic volume index (LVESVI). The secondary endpoint includes the change in N terminal pro-B-type natriuretic peptide (NT-proBNP) level, arrhythmias, and cardiovascular events (death, cardiac arrest, or cardiopulmonary resuscitation, rehospitalization due to heart failure or angina pectoris, deterioration of cardiac function, and stroke). Investigators and patients are both blinded to the allocated treatment.@*DISCUSSION@#This prospective study will investigate the efficacy and safety of CDDP in improving ventricular remodeling and cardiac function in patients undergoing pPCI for a first AAMI. Patients in the CDDP group will be compared with those in the control group. If certified to be effective, CDDP treatment in AAMI will probably be advised on a larger scale. RESUMO

Attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder(ADHD) is a common neurodevelopmental disorder in children.Studies have shown that dietary nutrition is the basis of children′s growth and development.Nutrients affect children′s behavior, cognition and learning by participating in the processes of brain neural development, neurotransmitter function and inflammation in vivo.Clinical investigations have shown that unbalanced diet or nutrient deficiency is related to ADHD, and supplementation of nutrients or balanced diet can improve the symptoms of ADHD children.In this paper, the effects of dietary nutrients on children with ADHD and their related mechanisms are reviewed to provide theoretical support for the nutritional management of children with ADHD.

Objective: To investigate the clinical efficacy of long-segment pedicle screw reduction and internal fixation combined with kyphoplasty in the treatment of stage Ⅲ reducible Kummell disease. Methods: The clinical data of 32 patients with stage Ⅲ reducible Kummell disease treated at the Department of Orthopedics, Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital, Zhejiang University College of Medicine from January 2012 to March 2017 were analyzed retrospectively.There were 7 males and 25 females,aged (71.8±6.7)years(range:61 to 86 years).The injured segment was T10 in 1 patient,T11 in 8 patients,T12 in 13 patients,L1 in 7 patients,L2 in 2 patients and L3 in 1 patient.Preoperative American spinal injury association(ASIA) classification of patients all showed grade D.Bone mineral density (BMD),spinal X-ray,CT and MRI were examined before operation.All patients were treated with postural reduction, long-segment pedicle screw reduction and internal fixation combined with kyphoplasty.The operation time,intraoperative blood loss,length of stay and postoperative complications were recorded.The visual analogue scale (VAS) and Oswestry dysfunction index (ODI) as well as the BMD of hip were collected before and after operation.The Cobb angle of involved segment kyphosis and the height of anterior edge of diseased vertebrae were measured before operation,3 days and 12 months after operation.CT-related parameters were measured before and 3 days after operation,including sagittal anterior and posterior diameter of spinal canal,cross-sectional anterior and posterior diameter of spinal canal and cross-sectional spinal canal area.Paired sample t test and repeated measures were used to compare the data before and after operation. Results: All patients received the operation successfully.The operation time was (131.3±16.9) minutes (range:95 to 180 minutes),the blood loss was (82.5±27.1) ml (range:50 to 150 ml),and the length of stay was (8.3±2.4) days (range:5 to 14 days).All patients were followed up for more than 12 months.The VAS decreased gradually at 3 days,3 months,6 months and 12 months after operation,and the differences were statistically significant compared with the VAS before surgery (all P<0.01).ODI at 3,6 and 12 months after surgery was significantly improved compared with that before surgery(All P<0.01).The CT-related parameters at 3 days after operation were significantly higher than those before operation (All P<0.05).At 12 months after surgery,the Cobb angle decreased from (35.2±7.6) ° preoperatively to (4.3±1.7) ° (t=22.630,P<0.01),the height of anterior edge of diseased vertebrae increased from (4.3±1.0) mm preoperatively to (16.9±2.5) mm(t=-25.845,P<0.01),the bone mineral density of hip increased from -(2.2±0.6) preoperatively to -(2.8±0.6)(t=-0.040,P<0.01).Up to the last follow-up,2 patients had distal pedicle screw loosening, 1 patient had proximal junctional kyphosis,and there was no new vertebral fracture. Conclusions: Based on postural reduction,long-segment pedicle screw reduction and internal fixation combined with kyphoplasty is a safe and effective treatment method for stage Ⅲ reducible Kummell disease,which can reconstruct the stability of the diseased vertebrae.Postoperative standard anti-osteoporosis treatment is the basis to ensure the efficacy.

Objective To explore the characteristics and clinical outcomes of patients with Heyde syndrome (HS) who undergo aortic valve replacement (AVR). Methods Electronic databases including PubMed, Embase, Ovid, WANFANG, VIP and CNKI were searched to identify all case reports of HS patients undergoing AVR surgery, using different combinations of search terms "Heyde syndrome", "gastrointestinal bleeding", "aortic stenosis", and "surgery". Three authors independently extracted the clinical data including the patients' characteristics, aortic stenosis severity, gastrointestinal bleeding sites, surgical treatments and prognosis. Results Finally, 46 case reports with 55 patients aging from 46 to 87 years, were determined eligible and included. Of them, 1 patient had mild aortic stenosis, 1 had moderate aortic stenosis, 42 had severe aortic stenosis, and 11 were not mentioned. Gastrointestinal bleeding was detected in colon (

Objective:To explore the application effect of self-made nursing strategy of device in the severe diarrhea or fecal incontinence.Methods:A total of 60 patients with severe diarrhea or fecal incontinence were randomly divided into study group and control group according to the order of admission, each with 30 patients. The control group received traditional nursing strategy, while the study group was applied self-made perianal skin nursing strategy of device. The change of perianal skin injury, nursing workload and patients ′ pain index of two groups were compared. Results:The study group perianal skin injury, nursing workload and patients pain index were (0.40±0.11) points, (2.14±0.22) times/day, (1.36±0.40) points, which were better than (0.84±0.14) points, (3.58±0.29) times/day, (3.28±0.60) points in the control group ( t=2.475, 3.934, 2.652, P<0.05). Conclusion:self-made perianal skin nursing strategy of device could reduce the incidence of perianal skin injury, liberation of nursing work, reduce the pain of patients. Which is worthy of clinical application for its convenience.

Objective@#To investigate the current status and real performance of the detection of RUNX1-RUNX1T1 fusion transcript levels and WT1 transcript levels in China through interlaboratory comparison.@*Methods@#Peking University People’s Hospital (PKUPH) prepared the samples for comparison. That is, the fresh RUNX1-RUNX1T1 positive (+) bone morrow nucleated cells were serially diluted with RUNX1-RUNX1T1 negative (-) nucleated cells from different patients. Totally 23 sets with 14 different samples per set were prepared. TRIzol reagent was added in each tube and thoroughly mixed with cells for homogenization. Each laboratory simultaneously tested RUNX1-RUNX1T1 and WT1 transcript levels of one set of samples by real-time quantitative PCR method. All transcript levels were reported as the percentage of RUNX1-RUNX1T1 or WT1 transcript copies/ABL copies. Spearman correlation coefficient between the reported transcript levels of each participated laboratory and those of PKUPH was calculated.@*Results@#①RUNX1-RUNX1T1 comparison: 9 samples were (+) and 5 were (-) , the false negative and positive rates of the 20 participated laboratories were 0 (0/180) and 5% (5/100) , respectively. The reported transcript levels of all 9 positive samples were different among laboratories. The median reported transcript levels of 9 positive samples were from 0.060% to 176.7%, which covered 3.5-log. The ratios of each sample’s highest to the lowest reported transcript levels were from 5.5 to 12.3 (one result which obviously deviated from other laboratories’ results was not included) , 85% (17/20) of the laboratories had correlation coefficient ≥0.98. ②WT1 comparison: The median reported transcript levels of all 14 samples were from 0.17% to 67.6%, which covered 2.6-log. The ratios of each sample’s highest to the lowest reported transcript levels were from 5.3-13.7, 62% (13/21) of the laboratories had correlation coefficient ≥0.98. ③ The relative relationship of the reported RUNX1-RUNX1T1 transcript levels between the participants and PKUPH was not always consistent with that of WT1 transcript levels. Both RUNX1-RUNX1T1 and WT1 transcript levels from 2 and 7 laboratories were individually lower than and higher than those of PKUPH, whereas for the rest 11 laboratories, one transcript level was higher than and the other was lower than that of PKUPH.@*Conclusion@#The reported RUNX1-RUNX1T1 and WT1 transcript levels were different among laboratories for the same sample. Most of the participated laboratories reported highly consistent result with that of PKUPH. The relationship between laboratories of the different transcript levels may not be the same.

@#【Objective】To investigate the effects of Tc17 cells on disease severity and elimination of HBV-DNA in patients with HBV related acute-on-chronic liver failure(HBV-ACLF).【Methods】Forty-three patients with HBV- ACLF were enrolled. Twenty patients with chronic hepatitis B(CHB)and 12 healthy subjects(NC)were enrolled as controls. Flow cytometry was used to detect the expression of peripheral Tc17 cells. HBV-DNA loads were measured,and the MELD,MELD-Na,CLIF-C ACLF and AARC scores were used to evaluate the disease severity. The effects of Tc17 cells on disease severity and decline of HBV-DNA were analyzed.【Results】Compared with NC group and CHB group, the expression of Tc17 cells in HBV-ACLF patients was significantly increased(P < 0.001 and P = 0.017). Correlation analysis showed that Tc17 cells were positively correlated with AARC score,MELD score and MELD-Na score(r = 0.504,P = 0.001;r = 0.417,P = 0.005 and r = 0.382,P = 0.012),and a correlated trend was found with CLIF-C ACLF score(r = 0.294,P = 0.055). And as the disease progressed,the expression of Tc17 cells gradually increased.In addition,Tc17 cells were positively correlated with HBV-DNA levels(r = 0.339,P = 0.026)at baseline,and the HBV-DNA levels were significantly decreased in patients with higher expression of Tc17 cells than in lower group after 4 weeks of treatment(P < 0.001). Furthermore,it was found that baseline Tc17 cells and AST levels were associated with the HBV-DNA decline by multivariate linear regression analysis.【Conclusion】Tc17 cells-mediated inflammatory response helps clear the HBV-DNA,but excessive inflammatory response may aggravate the disease severity.

Objective@#To investigate the familial cytomolecular genetics of an infertile male.@*METHODS@#We analyzed the clinical phenotypes and karyotypes of three males from the family of an infertile man, detected the sequence-tagged sites (STS) in the AZF deletions of the Y chromosome by multiplex polymerase chain reaction (PCR), and identified the target genes by multiplex ligation-dependent probe amplification (MLPA).@*RESULTS@#The karyotypes of the proband and his brother were 46, XY, inv (19) (p13.3q13.1) and that of his father was 46, XY. The three males were all carriers of AZFc deletion of the Y chromosome, and all found with the same reduction of the gene copy number in the AZFb and AZFc regions.@*CONCLUSIONS@#Combined use of karyotype analysis, Y chromosome STS PCR, and MLPA revealed the genetic causes of the male infertile family.

Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of combined acupuncture and medicine for external hemorrhoids. Method Included 68 patients with external hemorrhoids were allocated, in order of visits, to acupuncture, external application and acupuncture-medicine groups. The acupuncture group received acupuncture at points Chengshan (BL57) and Dachangshu (BL25); the external application group, external application of Divine Pain-Relief Decoction; the acupuncture-medicine group, comprehensive intervention. Result The pain was markedly relieved (P<0.01) but the severity of swelling and the size of hemorrhoids were less reduced (P<0.01, P<0.05) in the acupuncture group compared with the external application group. The therapeutic effect was better in acupuncturemedicine group than in the acupuncture and external application groups with more reduced size of hemorrhoids (P<0.01, P<0.05), lower VAS score (P<0.05, P<0.01) and lower swelling severity score (P<0.01, P<0.05).Conclusion Acupuncture is more effective in relieving the pain, while external application of herbal medicine is more effective in reducing the severity of swelling and the size of hemorrhoids. The combined use of acupuncture and medicine can synergically enhance the clinical therapeutic effect.

Objective To study third party service needs of the medical device manufacturing enterprises,so as to provide references for the cultivation of relevant institutions and the promotion of medical device industry. Methods Through questionnaire and interviewing survey,the data on enterprises'demands for innovation and third party service were obtained and analyzed. Some solutions were proposed based on the analysis. Results Most of the medical device manufacturing enterprises were small in scale, and they had no corresponding ability and confidence although gained motivation for innovation and upgrading.The enterprises needed third party services while were not satisfied with the existing services,and they hoped that the government could provide more comprehensive services to support their innovation and upgrading. Conclusion The government has to strengthen testing, regulations consulting and etc and enhance third party service institutions from the aspects of mission,rules and mechanism so as to promote medical device industry.

<p><b>Objective:</b>Gliomas are the most common neoplasm of the central nervous system (CNS); however, traditional imaging techniques do not show the boundaries of tumors well. Some researchers have found a new therapeutic mode to combine nanoparticles, which are nanosized particles with various properties for specific therapeutic purposes, and stem cells for tracing gliomas. This review provides an introduction of the basic understanding and clinical applications of the combination of stem cells and nanoparticles as a contrast agent for glioma imaging.</p><p><b>Data Sources</b>Studies published in English up to and including 2017 were extracted from the PubMed database with the selected key words of "stem cell," "glioma," "nanoparticles," "MRI," "nuclear imaging," and "Fluorescence imaging."</p><p><b>Study Selection:</b>The selection of studies focused on both preclinical studies and basic studies of tracking glioma with nanoparticle-labeled stem cells.</p><p><b>Results:</b>Studies have demonstrated successful labeling of stem cells with multiple types of nanoparticles. These labeled stem cells efficiently migrated to gliomas of varies models and produced signals sensitively captured by different imaging modalities.</p><p><b>Conclusion</b>The use of nanoparticle-labeled stem cells is a promising imaging platform for the tracking and treatment of gliomas.</p>

Objective To determine the prognostic indicators of severe acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) by comprehensive analysis.Methods The clinical data of 71 patients with ARDS admitted from Feb.2012 to Apr.2017 were retrospectively collected and analyzed.The acute pathophysiology and chronic health evaluation Ⅱ (APACHE Ⅱ) score,occurrence of extrapulmonary organ dysfunction and mortality within 28d after final diagnosis were calculated.The risk factors were screened using the logistic regression analysis to construct the risk prediction model by dynamic recording and comparing the variation of each baseline index within 7 days,and ROC curve was used to evaluate the prediction efficiency of the model.Results Of the 71 cases analyzed,the overall mortality within 28d after final diagnosis was 57.7%(41/71).Single factor logistic regression analysis showed that the APACHE Ⅱ score,the occurrence of extrapulmonary organ dysfunction,the changing rate within 7 days of APACHE Ⅱ score,pH,CO2 partial pressure and oxygenation index were significantly related to mortality.Multiple logistic regression showed that the occurrence of extrapulmonary organ dysfunction and the changing rate within 7 days of APACHE Ⅱ score were the independent risk factors for the death of patients 28 days after admission.The prediction model of 28d mortality in ARDS patients was constructed using the single factor-and multiple logistic regression as covariant,the sensitivity,specificity,positive predictive value (PPV) and negative predictive value (NPV) of the model were 93.9%,91.7%,93.3% and 91.7%,respectively.Conclusions Occurrence of extrapulmonary organ dysfunction and changing rate within 7 days of APACHE Ⅱ score can be used as an indicator to evaluate the prognosis of patients with severe ARDS.

<p><b>OBJECTIVE</b>To explore the value of fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) in diagnosis and prognosis evaluation of chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL).</p><p><b>METHODS</b>R banding technique was used for karyotype analysis in 43 cases of CLL, and fluorescence in situ hybridization(FISH) technique was used for analysis of 5 genes in 43 cases of CLL, including D13S25, RB1,ATM, P53 and CEP 12 .</p><p><b>RESULTS</b>The detection rate of chromosome abnormality was 9.3% for the 43 cases. The chromosome karyotype abnormality was involoved in the number abnormality and the structural abnormality, including No. 2, 6, 14, and sex chromosome. The patients with normal chromosome karyotype were more common(79.1%). At the same time, mitotic figure in 5 CLL patients did not observed. The positive rate of FISH detection was 55.8%(24/43). Among which, D13S25 deletion was the highest and reached to 37.2%, followed by RB1 deletion(20.9%), CEP 12 amplification(16.3%), ATM deletion(9.3%) and P53 deletion(7.0%). In 24 FISH-positive cases, 20 cases displayed the normal chromosome karyotype, and in 3 cases the mitotic figure was absent. There was only one case of abnormal chromosome, which was not involved in the positive gene tested by FISH.</p><p><b>CONCLUSION</b>FISH is an important means of CLL genetic detection, which can greatly raise the detection rate of cytogenetics abnormalities in CLL, but the probe quantity is limited, so it is necessary to use FISH technology combined with chromosome karyotype analysis so as to improve the detection rate of abnormal cytogenetics, and provide the basis for the clinical diagnosis and prognosis of CLL.</p>

Objective To investigate anorectal infection with Neisseria gonorrhoeae (NG) and Chlamydia trachomatis (CT) among men who have sex with men (MSM) with anorectal condyloma acuminatum(CA),and provide evidence for the clinical diagnosis and treatment of anorectal CA.Methods Anorectal swabs were obtained from MSM who were diagnosed with anorectal CA(trial group) and without CA(control group),nucleic acid fragments of NG and CT were detected by fluorescent quantitative polymerase chain reaction.Data about social demographic characteristics and sexual behaviors of investigated people were collected,compared and analyzed.Results A total of 158 patients were enrolled in this study,63 were in trial group and 95 in control group.Among 63 patients in trial group,infection rate of NG and CT were 17.46% and 28.57% respectively,co infection rate of NG and CT was 12.70%;in control group,infection rate of NG and CT were 6.32 % and 9.47 % respectively,co-infection rate of NG and CT was 2.16%;infection rate of NG and CT,as well as co-infection rate of NG and CT in trial group were all significantly higher than control group(all P<0.05).Conclusion Infection rate of NG and CT is high in MSM with anorectal CA,suggesting that more attention should be paid to the screening of NG,CT and other sexually transmitted infection among those who were clinically diagnosed with anorectal CA.

Objective: To investigate the relationship between variations of chloroplast DNA psbA-trnH and nuclear ribosomal DNA ITS2 sequences and the geographical origins of Microcos paniculata, and seek for some evidence for its germplasm resources evaluation and molecular identification. Methods: Total genomic DNA was extracted from M. paniculata and the psbA-trnH and ITS2 sequences were amplified by PCR and directly sequenced. The raw data were dealt with DNAMAN 8.0 and the pairwise distance was calculated based on Kimura 2-parameter model using MEGA 6.0. The phylogenic tree was constructed by Neighbor-Joining method. Results: The ITS2 sequences of M. paniculata from different populations were 462 bp with 14 variable sites. The nucleotide divergence between ITS2 sequences in pairwise comparison was calculated and the result showed that the distances between M. paniculata populations is about 0.000 0 - 0.019 8. The sequences length of psbA-trnH was 387 bp, except for one isolated from Jinghong, Yunnan province which was 379 bp. Conclusion: The psbA-trnH sequences of M. paniculata are more conservative than the ITS2 sequences, which can effectively identify M. paniculata from its adulterants and the closely relate species. The ITS2 sequence is so sensitive with the geographical variation that it can show the different characteristics of different populations in molecular level.

OBJECTIVES@#To investigate the genetic polymorphism of SNP located in the 5' region of the vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) gene in Han population in Guangdong and provide basic data for forensic application and population genetics research.@*METHODS@#The genetic polymorphisms of 4 SNP loci (rs699947, rs1570360, rs833061, rs2010963) within 5' region of VEGF gene of 184 unrelated individuals in Han population in Guangdong were analyzed by DNA micro sequencing technology SNaPshot. The statistical analysis was carried out by PowerMarker v3.25 software.@*RESULTS@#The genotype distributions of the 4 SNP loci within 5' region of VEGF gene of 184 unrelated individuals in Han population in Guangdong were in accordance with Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium (P>0.05) and 3 kinds of genotypes were detected from each loci. There was high linkage disequilibrium between the rs833061 and rs699947 SNP loci. Six haplotypes were observed, while the frequency of C-G-T-C, C-G-T-G, A-A-C-G and A-G-C-G were more than 10%, which were the main haplotypes. The discrimination probabilities (DP) of rs699947, rs833061, and rs2010963 loci were between 0.583 and 0.634, with the power of exclusion (PE) between 0.133 and 0.144. The DP and PE of haplotypes of 4 SNP were 0.868 and 0.438, respectively.@*CONCLUSIONS@#There are great polymorphisms in the 5' region of VEGF gene in Han population in Guangdong, which could be used as genetic indexes for individual identification and paternity testing, as well as association analysis of the related diseases.

Aim To study the effect of Radix Tetrastig-ma Hemsleyani Flavone ( RTHF ) on the proliferation and invasion in lung carcinoma A549 cells as well as the possible mechanisms underlying these processes. Methods A549 cells were treated with different con-centrations of RTHF for different time. MTT assay and colone formation assay were used to detect the ability of cell proliferation. Wound healing methods and tran-swell chamber assay were adopted to determine cell mi-gration and invasion. Western blotting assay was used to detect the expression of metastasis-related proteins MMP-2 , MMP-9 , and TIMP-2 . Results RTHF obvi-ously suppressed the proliferation of A549 cells in a dose-and time-dependent manner. Microscope found an apparent decrease of cells in the denude zone of cell migration and transwell testing results show that the treatment of invasion was significantly lower than the proportion in the control group ( P <0. 01 ) . The pro-tein expressions of MMP-2 and MMP-9 were down-reg-ulated and that of TIMP-2 was up-regulated in a dose-dependent manner. Conclusion RTHF inhibits the growth and invasion of lung carcinoma A549 cells, which might be achieved by down-regulating the ex-pressions of MMP-2 and MMP-9 protein.
