AIM: To observe the influences of Jianwei Yuyang Pills(Radix pseudostellariae,Pericarpium citri reticulatae,Rhizoma dioscoreae, Fructus hordei germinatus,and Fructus crataegi) on the recurrence of peptic ulcer(PU),and the expressions of IL-1 and analyze its potential mechanism. METHODS: Thirty-six patients with gastric ulcer were chosen as Jianwei Yuyang Pills treatment group.In addition,the normal control group was set up(12 cases).The biospy specimens of gastric mucosa was detected to observe the change in immunohischemistry of IL-1 and in the contents of ninohexose and phosphatide of ulcerated gastric mucosa.
