RESUMO

Objective To study the effect of IFN-αcombined with ATRA in liver cancer therapy in perioperative phase of inter-vention .Methods An animal model of liver cancer CBRH7919 was established by implanting 28 Wistar rats with tumor tissue .The hepatic artery was tied off in one month after formation of tumor .All the rats were randomly divided into the experimental group (14 cases) and the control group(14 cases) .The control group accepted peritoneal injection with normal saline while the experimen-tal group accepted IFN-αcombined with ATRA .10 days later ,all the rats were sacrificed .And the level of expression of VEGF ,bF-GF ,mirovessel density ,and apoptotic index of tumor cells were measured .Results Serum VEGF level ,MVD and apoptotic index of tumor cells of the experimental group were statistically lower than that of the control group [(91 .8 ± 12 .7) pg/mL ,(115 .7 ± 11 .8)/HP ,(12 .29 ± 4 .53)% vs .(67 .4 ± 18 .3)pg/mL ,(65 .3 ± 7 .2)/HP ,(3 .81 ± 1 .52)% ,t=4 .099、13 .642、6 .640 ,P<0 .05)] , results of RT-PCR and immunohistochemistry detection both showed that the levels of expression of VEGF and bFGF of the exper-imental group was lower than that of the control group .Conclusion IFN-αcombined with ATRA in liver cancer therapy in periop-erative phase of intervention could suppress the generation of neoplastic vascular and improve the effect of the intervention .So it is worth promoting .

RESUMO

Objective To explore the relationship between aggressive behavior and attachment styles for adult prisoners. Methods A sample of 413 criminals filled out measures for Aggression Questionnaire and Adult Attachment Scale. Results There existed significant differences of anxiety, anger, hostility, physical attacks and the total score of AQ among different criminals type (F =2.80,5.80,5.15,16.82,10.69,P < 0.001 or P < 0.05).And there existed significant differences of anxiety, anger, hostility, physical attacks, verbal attacks and the total score of AQ among different adult attachment style (F =18.14,34,17,7,83,22,75,P < 0.01).The close dimension of AAS was significantly negatively related with anger, hostility, physical attacks and the total score of AQ (r =-0.15--0.20,P < 0.01).And the anxiety dimension of AAS was significantly positively related with anger, hostility, physical attacks, verbal attacks and the total score of AQ(r =0.30-0.52,P < 0.01).Regression analysis found that anxiety dimension and close dimension of AAS were fairly effective variables in the prediction of the criminal attacks. Conclusion There are close relationships between aggressive behavior and adult attachment for criminals. The anxiety dimension and close dimension make a certain prediction to the criminal attacks.

RESUMO

Objective To understand the death rate and the main death causes of the senile diabetic inpatients. Methods The histories of all the death cases of senile diabetic inpatients in this hospital from 1992 to 1999 were reviewed. The death rate and causes of senile diabetics were compared with those of the non-senile diabetics. Results Senile diabetics among the total diabetic inpatients increased within 8 years (56.93% during 1992-1995 vs. 67.63% during 1996-1999,P80 yrs group being 23.60%, P

RESUMO

Fourly adult healthy patients were separately anesthetlzed with (1 )0. 95% isoflurane; (2) fentanyl 5g/kg and thiopentone 4 mg/kg; (3) upper thoracic epidural blockage and (4 ) lumbar epidural blockage,Continuous 5 min ECG were recorded before and a fier anesthesia with spectral analysis of heart rate varlability (HRV) performed by computer program. For power spectral measurement, three frequency band of HRV were evaluated and the effects of each anesthesia were compared. HRV reduced markedly in patients using 0. 95 % isoflurane. with decreases of frequency by 91. 7% (low frequency ), 84. 4% (mid frequency ). and 82% (high-frequency) respectively. In patients after administration of fentanyl 5g/kg, mid and high-frequency components declined 63. 4 % and 65. 4 %. Upper thoracic epidural block restrained the mid and low frequency components by 66 % and 65 % respectively, Following lumbar epidural block the pattern of HRV components did not change. It is concluded that different anesthesia techniques may have significant different effects on autonomic reflexes as presented by HRV.
