RESUMO
Spontaneous pneumothorax is a recognised cause of respiratory distress in the neonatal period. Spontaneous pneumothorax occurring during the neonatal period in siblings within a family is rare. We report a case of spontaneous pneumothorax occurring in two siblings in the neonatal period.

Feto-maternal alloimmune thrombocytopenia is a serious fetal disorder resulting from platelet antigen incompatibility between the mother and the fetus. Intracranial bleeding is the most serious complication of alloimmune thrombocytopenia and can result in severe disability and death in utero. The authors report a case of intracerebral hemorrhage in utero resulting from alloimmune thrombocytopenia.

Four-year-old boy presented with hypopigmented skin lesions since birth and seizure of recent onset. He had psychomotor retardation and hemi hypertrophy of left half of body. Computerised tomography scan findings were suggestive of hemimegalencephaly. On clinical grounds, a diagnosis of Hypomelanosis of Ito was made.
