Among 53 patients of stage 4, thyroid dysfunction was found to be present in 33.96 percent of the patients. Among 50 patients of stage 3, thyroid dysfunction was found to be present in 24 percent of the patients. Among 45 patients of stage 2, thyroid dysfunction was found to be present in 20 percent of the patients.
