RESUMO
Osmotic myelinolysis is a rare, acute, demyehnating process that involves the pons [central pontine myelinolysis] and other locations of the central nervous system [extrapontine myelinolysis].lt is more prevalent following liver transplantation. We report a case of central Pontine and extrapontine myelinolysis occurring in a 13 year old girl following liver transplantation for HCV related end stage liver disease
