Contribution of angiography to the diagnosis of the vascular lesion due to trauma in Viet Duc Hospital

20 patients with vascular lesion due to trauma diagnosed by the angiography in ViÖt §øc hospital in 1998. The position of lesions included the popliteal artery (8), femoral artery (4), iliac artery (3), subclavian artery (1), bronchial artery (1), and the arteries in the leg (3). In these cases, the angiography helped the timely indication before occurring the irreversible ischemia

Diagnosis angiography and the embolism technique for treatment of post operative bleeding in some organs in Viet Duc hospital

The postoperative bleeding is a common complications. It is difficult to precisely diagnose the bleeding position. The X-ray department of ViÖt §øc hospital implemented the angiography to find the postoperative bleeding in the liver, kidney, stomach, etc... and then induction of embolism to treat the hemorrhage. The results: 6 among 7 patients with postoperative bleeding treated and had a good efficacy.
