RESUMO
La carrera de enfermería, a lo largo de sus planes de estudio, establece estrategias curriculares que permiten la formación integral de los estudiantes. En este artículo se reflexiona acerca del desarrollo de la estrategia curricular relacionada con el aprendizaje del idioma inglés en la carrera de Enfermería. Se constata que existen dificultades que afectan la lógica integradora necesaria para el establecimiento de los nexos entre los contenidos y habilidades comunicativas, lo cual puede mejorarse si se tienen en cuenta el enfoque sistémico del aprendizaje del idioma y la delimitación de los conocimientos por años académicos.
The nursing career, throughout its study plans, establishes curricular strategies that allow the students' personal development. This article reflects on the development of the curricular strategy related to the English language learning in the Nursing career. It is found that there are difficulties that affect the integrative logic necessary to establish the links between content and communication skills, which can be improved if the systemic approach to language learning and the delimitation of knowledge by academic years are taken into account.
