This bibliographic review aims to address the treatment of urgency urinary incontinence. We'll approach behavioral techniques, electrostimulation, pharmacological treatment and botulinum toxin.

Ruptura prematura de membranas: atualização e manejo / Premature rupture of fetal membranes: update and manegement

A ruptura prematura de membranas (RUPREMA) é a ruptura das membranas amnióticas antes do início do trabalho de parto, podendo ocorrer a termo (≥ 37 semanas de gestação) ou pré-termo (< 37 semanas de gestação). O diagnóstico é principalmente clínico e a história natural é o parto. O manejo da RUPREMA depende de diversos fatores, os mais importantes são a idade gestacional e as condições clínicas materno-fetais.

Premature rupture of membranes (PROM) refers to the rupture of membranes before the onset of labor. It may occur at term (≥37 weeks of gestation) or preterm (< 37 weeks of gestation). The diagnosis is primarily clinical and the natural course is delivery. The management of PROM depends upon several factors, most importantly the gestational age and the maternal-fetal clinical condition.
