RESUMO

The Parkinson disease is characterized for presenting some signals, amongst them, the postural alteration have been described as one of the most debilitating of such pathology. The aim of this study was to evaluate and to correlate the age and the time of evolution of the disease with the degree of anteriorization of the body adopted by the parkinsonians. Were evalueted 25 carrying parkinsonian volunteers, 17 men and 8 women, with age between 51 and 87 years. These had been located in the right profile and the feet lined up for capture of the image with digital machine photographic. The images had been carried to the computer for the calculation from the referring angle to the corporal position adopted by these individuals through the program ALCimage 2.1. The results showed correlation between the time of evolution of disease and the age with the corporal anteriorization in the men, while in the women we only find correlation between the time of evolution of the pathology, we still verify that the men had presented greater degree of previous projection when compared the women. We conclude that men present greater anteriorization of the body that the women, and that the evolution of the pathology is better in the men, in relation to the alteration of position.
