RESUMO

【Objective】 To explore the correlation of the intake of different nutrients with the levels of serum lipids and uric acid. 【Methods】 Based on the data of China Health and Nutrition Survey (CHNS2009), a total of 1 343 individuals were finally included by ID matching with demographic data, serological tests and dietary nutrition results. We compared serum lipids and uric acid levels between groups of different nutrients intake (group Q1-Q4) and conducted the correlation analysis. 【Results】 The total cholesterol (TC), triglyceride (TG), and low-density lipoprotein (LDL-C) in the men were significantly higher than those in the women, while high-density lipoprotein (HDL-C) was significantly lower in the men. The average intakes of daily energy, carbohydrate, fat and protein were significantly higher in the males than in the females. Intergroup comparisons and correlation analyses showed that total energy and protein intakes were positively correlated with TG (r=0.070 9,P=0.008 4;r=0.051 7,P=0.012 3), while fat intake was positively correlated with TC (r=0.086 1,P=0.001 4). The blood uric acid level was positively correlated with the intake of fat and protein (r=0.127 3,P<0.001;r=0.138 0,P<0.001). The results of subgroup analysis of the males were consistent with those of the whole population. However, there was a significantly negative correlation between carbohydrate intake and blood uric acid level in the females (r=-0.107 9,P=0.002 2). Multiple linear regression analysis showed that TC, TG and uric acid were correlated with gender, age and intake of different nutrients. 【Conclusion】 The levels of blood uric acid and lipids are significantly higher in men than in women. Different types of dyslipidemia and hyperuricemia are related to different nutrient intakes in different genders and ages.

RESUMO

【Objective】 To investigate the negative emotions among university students during home quarantine under the epidemic of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) so as to provide scientific basis for psychological counseling. 【Methods】 We conducted an online questionnaire survey to collect 405 undergraduates’ and postgraduates’ DASS-21 scale scores and responses to epidemic prevention knowledge, and analyzed the university students’ negative emotions during the epidemic and influencing factors. 【Results】 Of the 405 students surveyed, 178 individuals (44.0%) had depression, 171(42.2%) felt anxious, and 119(29.4%) felt stressed. Individuals in the DASS21+ group spent much time on entertainment on the cell phone daily than those in the DASS21- group (P<0.001), and the degree of impact by COVID-19 on daily life was significantly higher (P<0.001). Correlation analysis showed that entertainment time on the cell phone, the severity of COVID-19, and the impact of the epidemic were positively related to DASS-21 scores, with correlation coefficients of 0.231, 0.143 and 0.259, respectively (all P<0.01). Binary logistic regression analysis found that mobile entertainment time for over 5 hours per day (OR=3.370, 95% CI: 1.369-8.294, P=0.008) was a risk factor for negative emotions during quarantine at home. 【Conclusion】 During quarantine at home in the epidemic of COVID-19, nearly half of university students are prone to breed negative emotions, like depression, anxiety or stress, which may be related to long-term mobile phone entertainment.

RESUMO

Objective: To explore the expression of PTK7 in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma and its clinical significance. Methods: The clinical and follow-up data of 85 patients with pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma who underwent radical surgery at Tianjin Medical University Cancer Institute and Hospital from May 2011 to January 2016 were analyzed. The expression of PTK7 in 85 pancreatic cancer tissues and the corresponding para-cancer tissues was detected by immunohistochemistry, and the relationship between PTK7 expression level and the clinical pathological features and prognosis was analyzed. Results: Positive expression of PTK7 was observed mainly in the cytoplasm, presenting as brownish yellow granules. It was noted that expression of PTK7 in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma tissues and para-carcinoma tissues was 70.6% (60/85) and 52.9% (45/85), respectively, and the positive rate in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma tissues was significantly higher than that in para-carcinoma tissues; the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The abnormal expression of PTK7 was correlated with the tumor stage, lymph node metastasis, and the vascular tumor embolus (P<0.05). The survival analysis suggested that the survival time or recurrence-free time of patients with PTK7 high expression in pancreatic duct adenocarcinoma was significantly shorter than in those with low expression (P<0.05, respectively). ShRNA interference of PTK7 was successfully established in the cell stabilizing system, verified by MTT and clone formation. Results indicated that cell survival was significantly lower in the shRNA experimental group compared to the control group (P<0.05), the number of colonies formed was significantly smaller in the shRNA experimental group compared to the control group (P<0.05), and the expression of proliferation-related proteins Ki-67 and PCNA was significantly lower in the shRNA experimental group compared to the control group (P<0.05, respectively). Conclusions: The up-regulation of PTK7 expression in pancreatic ductal ad-enocarcinoma tissues was associated with the tumor stage, lymph node metastasis, and the vascular tumor thrombus, suggesting poor prognosis. It was also found that in pancreatic cancer cell lines, PTK7 could promote the proliferation of pancreatic cancer cells by regulating the levels of proliferative factors Ki-67 and PCNA.

RESUMO

Objective To investigate the correlation of endothelial inflammation in patients with acute myocardial infarction (AMI)with no-reflow and severity of coronary lesion. Methods A total of 120 patients with AMI were all treated with percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI).The patients who had intraoperative no-reflow were in case group (n=40).The patients who were also treated by PCI but did not have no-reflow in the same period in our hospital served as the control group (n=80).According to the results of coronary angiography, no-reflow group patients were divided into three subgroups:single lesion group (n=14),two-lesion group (n=10), and three-lesion group (n=1 6 ).We monitored these patients’immediate postoperative endothelial microparticles (EMPs)and soluble intercellular adhesion molecule-1 (sICAM-1 )levels in both groups with flow cytometry and ELISA methods. Results In the case group, immediate postoperative EMPs and sICAM-1 levels in the blood circulation were significantly higher than those in the control group.EMPs area and sICAM-1 area under the curve in the case group were 0.755 and 0.701,which showed that EMPs and sICAM-1 levels had a good correlation with the occurrence of non-reflow in AMI patients after PCI.Gensini score and EMPs level rose with the increase of the lesion counts, and the level of EMPs was positively correlated with Gensini score. Conclusion In patients with AMI,the EMPs and sICAM-1 levels can well predict the occurrence of no-reflow and are of some value in predicting the severity of coronary lesion.

RESUMO

OBJECTIVETo investigate the application of osteotomy template manufactured via 3D printing technique in bilateral sagittal split osteotomy (BSSO).

METHODSThe patient group consisted of 32 patients (17 males and 15 females) with mandibular hypoplasia who underwent a BSSO setback (Hunsuck modification; 64 splits). The mean age at the time of surgery was 23.5 years (range 1.9-35 years). All patients were scanned using cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) to create a 3D model of the mandibular, and the osteotomy template of the inner horizontal ramus of mandible bone incision was manufactured via 3D printing technique. All splits underwent operation with or without the osteotomy template by either a young doctor (attending doctor) or a doctor with extensive orthognathic surgery experience (chief doctor). The time it took to perform the mandible bone incision of the inner horizontal ramus of each group was recorded. Postoperative CBCT scan was performed, and the lingual split scale was used to assess the effect of the operation.

RESULTSPrimary healing of incisions was observed in all patients, and no serious complications occurred. The time it took to perform the mandible bone incision of the inner horizontal ramus was significantly different in the four groups (F=30.059, P<0.05), and it was longer in the group of the attending doctor without osteotomy template than in the other three groups (P<0.05). No significant difference was observed in the other groups (P>0.05). Although all splits (n=64) were performed according to the standardized protocol, only 59.38% (38/64) of the fracture lines run according to the Hunsuck's description. By contrast, only 21.88% (14/64) run through the mandibular canal and 18.75% (12/64) was split. The database was analyzed using crosstabs and via Fisher exact test. The split pattern was influenced by the application of an osteotomy template (P<0.05).

CONCLUSIONThe application of osteotomy template manufactured via 3D printing technique in BSSO was effective, which enabled the young doctor to complete the operation faster and with good results.
