RESUMO

Objective To explore the effect of health education on endemic fluorosis in Shandong Province, and provide evidence for further development of health education measures. Methods From 2011 to 2015,using prospective method,19 endemic fluorosis counties (cities, districts) were selected as project counties in Shandong Province each year, and 3 townships (towns) were selected in each project county.Health educational activities on prevention and treatment of endemic fluorosis were carried out in the classes of grade 4-6 in the central primary school;3 administrative villages were selected in each township (town) to carry out community health education activities. Before and after the health education activities, questionnaire surveys on the health education of endemic fluorosis prevention knowledge were conducted among 30 students of grade 5 in the central primary school and 15 housewives lived near the schools in each township (town). Results The results of health education evaluation showed that the'awareness rate of prevention and treatment of endemic fluorosis in school students and housewives were 95.64% (27 770/29 037) and 92.09% (14 341/15 573),respectively,which were significantly higher than those before the intervention [69.40% (20 157/29 043) and 67.40% (10 375/15 393)],and the differences were statistically significant (x2 =6 926.73,2 928.85,P < 0.05).Among the primary school students and housewives, the knowledge awareness rates of prevention and treatment of endemic fluorosis were increased by 26.24% and 24.69%,respectively.Conclusion After implementation of endemic fluorosis health education intervention, the awareness rate of prevention and treatment knowledge in local fluorosis areas in Shandong Province is significantly increased, which means we can further expand the scope of health education.

RESUMO

Objective To find out the cognition and participation of people in the disease areas of Shandong Province on prevention and treatment of iodine deficiency disorders (IDD), and to evaluate the effectiveness of a health education project on prevention and control of IDD. Methods From 2011 to 2015, a prospective research was used in study, 46 iodine-deficient counties (cities, districts) were selected as project counties in Shandong Province each year, and 3 townships (towns) were chosen in each project county. Health educational activities on IDD prevention and control knowledge were carried out in the central primary school, 3 villages were chosen in each selected township (town) where the health educational activities in the community were carried out. Before and after the healthy education activities, questionnaire surveys on IDD prevention and control knowledge were conducted among 30 students of grade 5 in the central primary school and 15 housewives lived near the schools in each selected township ( town ) . Results After the health education activities , the knowledge awareness rates of students and housewives on IDD prevention and control were 96.06% ( 61232/63471 ) and 95.44%(32576/34131), respectively, which increased significantly compared with those before the intervention [ 79 . 00% ( 50038/63342 ) and 81 . 25%( 27281/33576 ) ] , and the differences were statistically significant (χ2 = 8435.19, 3326.19, P < 0.05). Among the primary school students and housewives, the knowledge awareness rates of IDD prevention were increased by 17.06% and 14.19%, respectively. Conclusion After implementing the intervention measures of IDD health education, the awareness rate of IDD prevention and control knowledge in iodine deficiency areas in Shandong Province is significantly increased, which has achieved the effectiveness of IDD health education behavioral intervention.

RESUMO

@#Objective To evaluate the relationship between the early renal injury and the pulse pressure or pulse pressure index in hypertension patients. Methods The pulse pressure (PP) and the pulse pressure index (PPI) in 96 patients with mild to moderate essential hypertension were calculated and the urine β2-microglobulin (β2-MG), the urine α1-microglobulin (α1-MG), albumin were detected. Results The urine β2-MG, the urine α1-MG and albumin in patients with PP>65 mmHg were higher than those with PP≤65 mmHg (P<0.05); The urine β2-MG and the α1-MG, albumin in patients with PPI>0.5 were higher than those with PPI≤0.5 (P<0.05). While the patients with renal injury complicated with a higher PP or PPI than those without renal injury (P<0.05). Conclusion The renal injury is more severe in patients with higher pulse pressure and pulse pressure index.

RESUMO

Objective: to select the optimal acupuncture therapeutic projects on cerebral infarction-related motor dysfunction of lower limbs. Methods: to optimize the combination projects on 4 factors and 3 levels affecting the acupuncture effect on cerebral infarction by using orthogonal design targeting on patients with cerebral infarction-related motor dysfunction of lower limbs, and Fugl-Meyer score of limb motor function was taken as indexes. Results: The relatively optimal Fugl-Meyer score of lower limb function can be obtained within 3-day duration of cerebral infarction. Conclusions: As far as the considered factors and levels are concerned, the previously mentioned project is the optimal acupuncture therapeutic project for cerebral infarction-related motor dysfunction of lower limbs.
