RESUMO

Objective@#To investigate the characteristics of intestinal microflora among flying personnel with hyperlipidemia, so as to provide insights into prevention of hyperlipidemia among flying personnel. @*Methods @#Flying personnel diagnosed with hyperlipidemia in a sanatiorium from October 2020 to February 2021 were included in the hyperlipidemia group, while flying personnel with normal blood lipids during the same period served as controls. Subjects' age, family history, physical examinations and blood testing results were collected from both groups. Fecal samples were collected, and intestinal microflora was sequenced followed by bioinformatics analysis. The diversity and abundance of intestinal microflora were compared, and the key bacteria were screened using LEfSe analysis.@*Results@#There were 29 subjects in the hyperlipidemia group with a median age (interquartile range) of 34 (12) years and 25 subjects in the control group with a median age (interquartile range) of 30 (12) years, and all subjects were men. There were no significant differences between the two groups in terms of age, flight duration, smoking, family history of metabolic diseases and waist circumference (P>0.05). The Shannon diversity index of intestinal microflora was lower in the hyperlipidemia group than in the control group (Z=4.370, P=0.026), and there was a significant difference in the overall structure of intestinal flora between the two groups, which were clustered into two groups. LEfSe analysis identified Herbaspirillum, Atopobium and Eggerthella as key microorganisms in the hyperlipidemia group, and Agathobacter, Dialister, norank_Eubacterium_coprostanoligenes_group, Alloprevotella and unclassified Bacteroidales as key microorganisms in the control group.@*Conclusions@#The species diversity and relative abundance of intestinal microflora are lower in flying personnel with hyperlipidemia than in those with normal blood lipids. Herbaspirillum, Atopobium and Eggerthella may be the key bacteria contributing to hyperlipidemia among flying personnel.

RESUMO

Objective To investigate the difference in the pass rate of intensity?modulated radiation therapy ( IMRT) planning in patients with different tumors and its value in determining pass rate thresholds. Methods A total of 35 verified IMRT plans for each of esophageal cancer, nasopharyngeal carcinoma, breast cancer, cervical cancer, and lung cancer were selected consecutively, and a one?way analysis of variance was used to investigate the difference in pass rate. A single pass rate threshold was used to test all IMRT plans, and the pass rate thresholds of IMRT plans for different tumors were calculated based on normal distribution law. Results There was a significant difference in the means between the 5 groups of data ( F=35. 83, P<0. 01) , and there was also a significant difference between any two groups ( P=0. 000) . There were statistically significant differences between nasopharyngeal carcinoma group and other four groups ( P=0. 000) . The difference was not only significant between the breast cancer group and the esophageal cancer group ( P=0. 001) , but also between the breast cancer group and the lung cancer group ( P=0. 033) . The calculated results of each threshold were 93. 37%, 89. 34%, 97. 68%, 95. 99%, and 95. 42%, respectively. Conclusions Different thresholds should be used for IMRT plans for different tumors, and the normal distribution law can be used to calculate the threshold.

RESUMO

OBJECTIVETo investigate the correlation between intrahepatic eovalently closed circular (ccc)DNA of hepatitis B virus (HBV) and pathogen-and patient-related parameters.

METHODSUltrasound-guided liver biopsies were obtained from 60 patients with chronic HBV infection. Levels of intrahepatic HBV cccDNA and serum HBV DNA were measured by quantitative fluorescence PCR. Level of serum hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg) was measured by chemiluminescence immunoassay. Clinical parameters, such as alanine aminotransferase (ALT), aspartate aminotransferase (AST), gamma-glutamyl transferase (GGT), alkaline phosphatase (AKP), albumin, globulin (GLO), white blood cell, platelet, prothrombin-international normalized ratio, were measured by standard assay. Demographic information was recorded. The correlation between intrahepatic HBV cccDNA and pathogen-and patient-related parameters was assessed.

RESULTSIntrahepatic HBV cccDNA level was negatively correlated with age, GLO, ALT and grade of necroinflammation. Patients with age of 30 years or more showed significantly higher level of HBV cccDNA level than patients under 30 years-old (7.44±0.58 and 5.66±1.35; t=7.157, P less than 0.001). Intrahepatic HBV cccDNA level was positively correlated with serum HBV DNA level (r=0.916, P less than 0.001) and serum HBsAg level (r=0.727, P less than 0.001). The median ratio of HBV cccDNA to HBV DNA was 1.18, and of HBV cccDNA to HBsAg was 1.67.

CONCLUSIONIntrahepatic HBV cccDNA levels decrease with age, level of ALT, level of GLO and grade of liver necroinflammation, but increase with level of serum HBV DNA and level of serum HBsAg. To a certain extent, serum HBV DNA and serum HBsAg levels may be a sufficient marker of intrahepatic HBV cccDNA levels.

RESUMO

Protein acetylation extensively regulates fundamental biological process, such as cardiovascular homeostasis and tu-morigenesis. Mechanism of protein acetylation and its abnormal changes during diseases has become one of the basic questions in medical research. Vascular aging is inseparable from the occur-rence and development of senile hypertension and coronary ather-osclerosis. Endothelial cell senescence plays a key role during this process. This paper reviews the research progress in acetyla-tion regulation during vascular aging, and the prospects of the re-search in this field.

RESUMO

Methylmercury is a potent toxicant, bioaccumulated and concentrated through the aquatic food chain, placing risks to human on the top of the chain. Based on the researches of adverse health effects exposed to methylmercury, several health risk assessment indexes (reference dose, provisional tolerable weekly intake, occupational mercury exposure assessment indexes ) and experiences on methylmercury exposure prevention (mainly on fish consumption) from the developed countries are presented in this paper.

RESUMO

Aim To establish the standards for evaluation of microcirculation in a rat hind limb ischemia model. Methods Rats were subjected to unilateral femoral artery ligation. After 4 weeks, the regional blood flow in skeletal muscles was measured by fluorescent microsphere assay.Formation of collateral vessels was determined by microangiography.Capillary density was examined by immunostaining for CD34.Results In ischemic limbs, regional blood flow decreased significantly, some collateral vessels formed with typical "corkscrew" appearance, and histological analysis showed lower capillary density. Conclusion Quantitative assessment of microcirculation in a hind limb ischemia model is established.
