RESUMO
Objective To investigate the epidemiological characteristics and main risk factors of chronic kidney disease in the elderly in Tianmen, Hubei Province. Methods A descriptive method was adopted in this study. Using stratified sampling, a total of 720 local residents over 65 years old in Tianmen of Hubei Province were selected from January 2017 to January 2020 as the research subjects. The general information of patients with chronic kidney disease was compared, and the difference in the characteristics of patients with different disease progression was compared. The risk factors for chronic kidney disease and disease progression were analyzed. Results Through the diagnosis of chronic kidney disease, a total of 82 patients with chronic kidney disease were found, including 33 patients in stage I, 26 patients in stage II and 23 patients in stage III. As the disease progressed, the patient's age, serum uric acid, triglyceride, total cholesterol, fasting blood glucose, serum creatinine, and the incidence of chronic diseases all increased significantly. The results of correlation analysis showed that the incidence of chronic kidney disease and the progression of the disease were positively correlated with age, body mass index, serum uric acid, triglyceride, total cholesterol, fasting blood glucose, serum creatinine level, diabetes, hypertension, and dyslipidemia, which were independent risk factors for chronic kidney disease. Conclusion The prevalence of chronic kidney disease in Tianmen was 11.39%. Higher age, serum uric acid, blood lipid, blood pressure and blood glucose levels are all important factors for the progression of chronic kidney disease.
RESUMO
Objective To study the effect and safety of ticagrelor on platelet in >75 years old patients undergoing PCI.Methods One hundred and twenty >75 years old patients with acute coronary syndrome undergoing PCI were randomly divided into observation group treated with aspirin+ticagrelor (n =60) and control group treated with aspirin+ clopidogrel (n =60).They were followed up for 1 year after PCI.The major adverse cardiovascular events (MACE),bleeding events,drug-related side effects and all-cause mortality were compared between the two groups. Results No instent thrombosis occurred in any patients, myocardial infarction occurred in 2 patients, angina pectoris occurred in 5 patients and 3 patients died in observation group after 1 year of PCI.Instent thrombosis occurred in 4 patients, myocardial infarction occurred in 3 patients, angina pectoris occurred in 6 patients, and 4 patients died in control group after 1 year of PCI.The incidence of instent thrombosis was significantly lower while that of mild dyspnea was significantly higher in observation group than in control group (0% vs 6.7%,10.0% vs 0%,P<0.05).Conclusion Ticagrelor can effectively prevent instent thrombosis and does not increase the risk of bleeding in >75 years old patients after PCI.
RESUMO
In this study, the effects of hyperosmolality on the expression of urea transporter A2 (UTA2) and aquaporin 2 (AQP2) were investigated in transfected immortalized mouse medullary collecting duct (mIMCD3) cell line. AQP2-GFP-pCMV6 and UTA2-GFP-pCMV6 plasmids were stably transfected into mIMCD3 cells respectively. Transfected mIMCD3 and control cells were cultured in different hypertonic media, which were made by NaCl alone, urea alone, or an equiosmolar mixture of NaCl and urea. The mRNA and protein expression of AQP2 was elevated by the stimulation of NaCl alone, urea alone and NaCl plus urea in AQP2-mIMCD3 cells; whereas NaCl alone and NaCl plus urea rather than urea alone increased the mRNA and protein expression of UTA2 in UTA2-mIMCD3 cells, and all the expression presented an osmolality-dependent manner. Moreover, the mRNA and protein expression of UTA2 rather than AQP2 was found to be synergistically up-regulated by a combination of NaCl and urea in mIMCD3 cells. It is concluded that NaCl and urea synergistically induce the expression of UTA2 rather than AQP2 in mIMCD3 cells, and hyperosmolality probably mediates the expression of AQP2 and UTA2 through different mechanisms.
RESUMO
OBJECTIVE To study the cell-mediated immune function among older inpatients with Pseudomonas aeruginosa pneumonia.METHODS T-cell subsets and expression of membrane molecule on activated T-cell in peripheral blood were measured in 35 cases with P.aeruginosa pneumonia by using immunofluorescence and flow cytometry, and compared with those of control healthy older people.RESULTS The expressions of CD4+ /CD3+ and CD25+ /CD3+ in P.aeruginosa pneumonia patients were lower than in control group(P0.05).CONCLUSIONS There are disfunctions of lymphocgte and immunity among P.aeruginosa pneumonia patients.
