RESUMO

OBJECTIVE@#To analyze ultrasonographic finding in fetuses with Wolf-Hirschhorn syndrome (WHS) and refine the critical region on chromosome 4p16.3 for WHS-associated fetal growth retardation (FGR).@*METHODS@#In total 2262 fetuses with abnormal ultrasonographic findings who underwent prenatal karyotyping and chromosomal microarray analysis were reviewed. WHS-associated 4p deletions detected in these fetuses were compared, and prenatal ultrasound findings in such fetuses were summarized. Meanwhile, WHS cases with prenatal ultrasound findings and isolated 4p deletions in previous studies were included for further analysis. An analysis of smallest region of overlap (SRO) among discrepant 4p deletions in these cases above was performed to define a critical region for FGR.@*RESULTS@#4p deletions were detected in 10 of the 2262 fetuses and 5.0% of the 202 fetuses with FGR. Combined with 80 WHS cases from previous studies, the most common prenatal ultrasound finding was FGR, which yielded a frequency of 76.7%. In addition, a SRO spanning approximately 419 kb (genomic position: 1.32-1.74 Mb) on chromosome 4p16.3 was discovered by comparing the unusual 4p deletions among the 10 fetuses. The region contained seven protein-coding genes, including TACC3, SLBP, TMEM129, FAM53A, MAEA, UVSSA and CRIPAK.@*CONCLUSION@#For fetuses with WHS, the most common prenatal ultrasound phenotype was FGR. A region between 1.32 Mb to 1.74 Mb from the telomere on chromosome 4p16.3 is critical for WHS-associated FGR, for which TACC3 and SLBP are the candidate genes.

RESUMO

Objective To compare effect of swaddle bathing and tub bathing on neonatal behavior state, and improve the safety and comfort of newborn infants. Methods This was a prospective non-randomized control study. From February 2016 to September 2017, a total of 110 neonates were divided into swaddle bathing group or tub bathing group, each group including 55 cases. Neonates in swaddle bathing group received swaddle bathing after discharge, while neonates in tub bathing group received tub bathing. Behavior state in the process of bathing and temperature before and after bathing were compared. Results In swaddle bathing group, 85.5% (47/55) of neonates kept quiet during the bathing process, which was significantly higher than 56.4%(31/55) in the tub bathing group (χ2=11.282, P<0.01). 30.9%(17/55) of neonates in swaddle group were crying, significantly lower than 50.9% (28/55) in tub bathing group (χ2=4.550, P<0.05). Duration of neonatal grasp reflex, crying time (seconds), and neonatal body temperature after bathing was (2.3±0.4) points,2(0,7)s and (36.49±0.02)℃in swaddle bathing group, and (7.9±0.5) points, 6 (5,10) s and (36.38±0.03)℃in tub bathing group, and the difference was significant(t=4.366, 2.910, Z=3.534, P<0.01). Conclusions Swaddle bathing can promote neonatal behavior state in the process of bathing and reduce neonatal the feeling of fear. Moreover, it could help keep warm more effectively.

RESUMO

【Objective】Finding the relative factors that influence the effect of electronic burn therapy in chronic cervicitis.【Methods】Some pathogens have been detected in 176 cases of patients with chronic cervicitis who have underwent electronic burn therapy. Some possible relative factors that influence the effect of electronic therapy in chronic cervicitis have been analysed.【Results】The relative factors include the degree of cervical erosion, character of cervical grume, degree of vaginal cleanness;puriform cervical grume, poor vaginal cleanness have higher positive rate of all kinds of pathogens.【Conclusion】Some relative pathogens should be detected and eliminated before electronic burn therapy in patients with chronic cervicitis. At least, those patients who present higher degree of cervical erosion, puriform cervical grume, poor vaginal cleanness should be treated with drug until these indexes improve before electronic burn therapy.
