RESUMO

Objective:To explore the mediating role of self-control in the relationship between alexithymia and internet addiction. Methods:From August to September 2019, a total of 433 college students were selected from three universities in Jiangxi province by cluster random sampling method. The Chinese internet addiction scale-revised, the twenty-item Toronto alexithymia scale and brief self-control scale were used for questionnaire testing. SPSS 23.0 software was used for descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation analysis and PROCESS V3.5 macro program was used to test the mediating effect. Results:The total scores of alexithymia, internet addiction and self-control were (53.61±9.44), (45.31±9.84) and (41.91±6.09), respectively. Pearson correlation analysis showed that alexithymia was significantly positively correlated with internet addiction ( r=0.47, P<0.01), and significantly negatively correlated with self-control ( r=-0.37, P<0.01). The negative correlation between self-control and internet addiction was significant ( r=-0.46, P<0.01). Multivariate hierarchical regression analysis showed that alexithymia directly predicted internet addiction after controlling the influence of gender. Self-control played a partially mediating role in the relationship between alexithymia and internet addiction (effect size=0.13, 95% CI: 0.082-0.185), the mediating effect accounted for 25% of the total effect. Conclusion:Alexithymia not only directly affects college students′ internet addiction, but also indirectly affects college students′ internet addiction through self-control.

RESUMO

Objective@#To explore the mediating effect of self-efficacy between mindfulness and self-esteem.@*Methods@#In this study, 400 junior school students from a middle school in Jiangxi Province was recruited and complete mindful self scale, general self-efficacy scale and self-esteem scale.@*Results@#The scores of mindfulness, self-efficacy, self-esteem were (63.89±9.12), (22.82±4.83) and (26.14±4.43), respectively. Mindfulness and its four dimensions (self-insight, self-acceptance, self-compassion and non-persistence) were significantly positively correlated with self-esteem (r=0.18-0.53, all P<0.01). Mindfulness and its three dimensions (self-insight, self-compassion and non-persistence) were significantly positively correlated with self-efficacy (r=0.22-0.39, all P<0.01). Self-efficacy and self-esteem were significantly positively correlated (r=0.82, P<0.01). Mindfulness positively predicted self-efficacy (β=0.38, P<0.01), self-efficacy positively predicted self-esteem (β=0.74, P<0.01), and mindfulness positively predicted self-esteem (β=0.25, P<0.01). That was, self-efficacy partially mediated the relationship between mindfulness and self-esteem. The mediating effect value was 0.28, accounting for 52.83% of the total effect.@*Conclusion@#Mindfulness not only directly affects adolescents' self-esteem, but also influences adolescents' self-esteem through self-efficacy.

RESUMO

Objective To explore the mediating effect of self-efficacy between mindfulness and self-esteem. Methods In this study,400 junior school students from a middle school in Jiangxi Province was re-cruited and complete mindful self scale, general self-efficacy scale and self-esteem scale. Results The scores of mindfulness,self-efficacy,self-esteem were (63. 89±9. 12),(22. 82±4. 83) and (26. 14±4. 43), respectively. Mindfulness and its four dimensions ( self-insight, self-acceptance, self-compassion and non-persistence) were significantly positively correlated with self-esteem ( r=0. 18-0. 53,all P<0. 01). Mindful-ness and its three dimensions (self-insight,self-compassion and non-persistence) were significantly positively correlated with self-efficacy (r=0. 22-0. 39,all P<0. 01). Self-efficacy and self-esteem were significantly positively correlated ( r=0. 82, P<0. 01). Mindfulness positively predicted self-efficacy ( β=0. 38, P<0. 01),self-efficacy positively predicted self-esteem (β=0. 74,P<0. 01),and mindfulness positively predic-ted self-esteem ( β=0. 25, P<0. 01). That was, self-efficacy partially mediated the relationship between mindfulness and self-esteem. The mediating effect value was 0. 28,accounting for 52. 83% of the total effect. Conclusion Mindfulness not only directly affects adolescents' self-esteem,but also influences adolescents' self-esteem through self-efficacy.

RESUMO

ObjectiveTo investigate the reliability and validity of internet altruistic behavior scale for undergraduates (IABSU) for middle school students.Methods402 middle school students were investigated by IABSU.The reliability was examined by alpha coefficient and split-half coefficient, while the validity was examined by confirmatory factor analysis. Then 375 middle school students were investigated, and cross-validation was examined.ResultsThe alpha coefficient,split-half coefficient and test-retest reliability for IABSU were 0.934,0.887 and 0.838 respectively, the alpha coefficient for the dimensions ranged from 0.757 to 0.886,split-half coefficient from 0.721 to 0.846,test-retest reliability from 0.714 to 0.811.The structure of the scale had been proved by confirmatory factor analysis. The structure of the scale for middle school students was very stability, and the crossvalidation was very good.Criterion-related validity of the scale was good.ConclusionIABSU can apply to middle school students.

RESUMO

To enhance the thermostability and storage stability of alpha-cyclodextrin glycosyltransferase (a-CGTase), we added specific chemical additives into the preparation of alpha-CGTase, and studied the effect of additives on the storage stability of alpha-CGTase at different temperatures. Then we measured the protein structure of CGTase in the far UV (200-250 nm) and near UV (250-320 nm) ranges respectively by Circular dichroism (CD) spectra under high temperature and analyzed the relationship between thermostability and protein structure. The results indicated that the addition of selected additives (gelatin, glycerin, CaCl2 and PEG400) enhanced the thermostability of alpha-CGTase dramatically. After 45 days, the preparation of alpha-CGTase still had 100% of the enzyme activity with different additives superimposed at the optimum concentration at 40 degrees C. The CD spectra of alpha-CGTase showed that glycerin could protect the secondary and the tertiary structure of the CGTase under high temperature and therefore the enzyme maintained its high activity. Chemical additives can improve the stability of alpha-CGTase significantly and they preserve the enzyme activity by protecting its secondary structure.
