RESUMO

OBJECTIVE@#To investigate the effects of Danmu Extract Syrup (DMS) on lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-induced acute lung injury (ALI) in mice and explore the mechanism.@*METHODS@#Seventy-two male Balb/C mice were randomly divided into 6 groups according to a random number table (n=12), including control (normal saline), LPS (5 mg/kg), LPS+DMS 2.5 mL/kg, LPS+DMS 5 mL/kg, LPS+DMS 10 mL/kg, and LPS+Dexamethasone (DXM, 5 mg/kg) groups. After pretreatment with DMS and DXM, the ALI mice model was induced by LPS, and the bronchoalveolar lavage fluid (BALF) were collected to determine protein concentration, cell counts and inflammatory cytokines. The lung tissues of mice were stained with hematoxylin-eosin, and the wet/dry weight ratio (W/D) of lung tissue was calculated. The levels of tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α), interleukin (IL)-6 and IL-1 β in BALF of mice were detected by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay. The expression levels of Claudin-5, vascular endothelial (VE)-cadherin, vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), phospho-protein kinase B (p-Akt) and Akt were detected by Western blot analysis.@*RESULTS@#DMS pre-treatment significantly ameliorated lung histopathological changes. Compared with the LPS group, the W/D ratio and protein contents in BALF were obviously reduced after DMS pretreatment (P<0.05 or P<0.01). The number of cells in BALF and myeloperoxidase (MPO) activity decreased significantly after DMS pretreatment (P<0.05 or P<0.01). DMS pre-treatment decreased the levels of TNF-α, IL-6 and IL-1 β (P<0.01). Meanwhile, DMS activated the phosphoinositide 3-kinase/protein kinase B (PI3K/Akt) pathway and reversed the expressions of Claudin-5, VE-cadherin and VEGF (P<0.01).@*CONCLUSIONS@#DMS attenuated LPS-induced ALI in mice through repairing endothelial barrier. It might be a potential therapeutic drug for LPS-induced lung injury.

RESUMO

OBJECTIVE@#This study aimed to investigate the effect and underlying mechanism of Fructus lycii in improving exercise fatigue.@*METHODS@#A network pharmacological approach was used to explore potential mechanisms of action of Fructus lycii. Skeletal muscle C2C12 cells and immunofluorescence were employed to verify the effect and mechanism of the representative components in Fructus lycii predicted by network pharmacological analysis.@*RESULTS@#Six potential active components, namely quercetin, β-sitosterol, stigmasterol, 7-O-methylluteolin-6-C-beta-glucoside_qt, atropine, and glycitein, were identified to have potency in improving exercise fatigue via multiple pathways, such as the PI3K-Akt, neuroactive ligand-receptor interaction, IL-17, TNF, and MAPK signaling pathways. The immunofluorescence results indicated that quercetin, a significant active component in Fructus lycii, increased the mean staining area of 2-NBDG, TMRM, and MitoTracker, and decreased the area of CellRox compared to the control. Furthermore, the protein expression levels of p-38 MAPK, p-MAPK, p-JNK, p-PI3K, and p-AKT markedly increased after quercetin treatment.@*CONCLUSION@#Fructus lycii might alleviate exercise fatigue through multiple components and pathways. Among these, quercetin appears to improve exercise fatigue by enhancing energy metabolism and reducing oxidative stress. The PI3K-AKT and MAPK signaling pathways also appear to play a role in this process.

RESUMO

The discoid meniscus is a common congenital meniscal malformation that is prevalent mainly in Asians and often occurs in the lateral discoid meniscus. Patients with asymptomatic discoid meniscus are usually treated by conservative methods such as observation and injury avoidance, while patients with symptoms and tears need to be treated surgically. Arthroscopic saucerization combined with partial meniscectomy and meniscus repair is the most common surgical approach., and early to mid-term reports are good. The prognostic factors are the patient's age at surgery、follow-up time and type of surgery. Some patients experience complications such as prolonged postoperative knee pain, early osteoarthritis, retears and Osteochondritis dissecans. The incidence of prolonged postoperative knee pain was higher and the incidence of Osteochondritis dissecans was the lowest. Retears of the lateral meniscus is the main reason for reoperation.

RESUMO

ObjectiveA method was developed for the rapid determination of 18 common disinfection by-products including halogenated oxides and haloacetic acid (HAAs) in drinking water by high performance liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry (HPLC-MS/MS). MethodThe water sample was filtered by 0.22 μm hydrophilic membrane then the analytes were separated on a PFP (2.1 mm× 100 mm, 2.7 μm) pentafluorophenyl column with 0.1% acetic acid and acetonitrile as mobile phase gradient elution. Ionization in anionic electrospray mode was detected by multi-reaction monitoring (MRM) mode. The external standard method was used for quantitation. ResultsThe correlation coefficients of 18 disinfection by-products were above 0.999 in the corresponding linear range. The average spiked recoveries of 1, 10 and20 times of LOQ of each analyte were 91.6%‒101.8%, and the relative standard deviation (RSD) was 1.2%‒6.4%. The LOD and LOQ were 0.020‒2 μg·L-1 and 0.050‒5 μg·L-1, respectively. ConclusionThis method is simple, sensitive and accurate, and could be used for the routine analysis of 18 common disinfection by-products in drinking water.

RESUMO

Aim To observe the effect of Gupi Xiaoji Decoction (GPXJY) on the structure and function of mitochondria of human hepatoma cell HepG2 cells and explore its possible mechanism. Methods CCK8 was used to detect cell proliferation, Mito-Tracker Green fluorescence staining was used to observe the mitochondrial structure, flow cytometry was used to detect the membrane potential, Elisa was used to detect the ATP content, fluoroscopic electron microscopy was used to observe the microstructure changes, and high-content screening(HCS) was used to detect the related proteins. Results Fluorescence staining showed that GPXJY damaged the mitochondria of HepG2 cells and decreased the content of ATP. The results of flow cytometry showed that GPXJY could reduce the mitochondrial membrane potential of HepG2 cells. The results of electron microscope showed that GPXJY made the mitochondria of cancer cells swell and so on. HCS found that GPXJY significantly reduced the average fluorescence intensity of Bcl-2 in HepG2 cells, and significantly increased the average fluorescence intensity of apoptosis promoting proteins Bax, cytochrome-c, caspase-3 and cleaved-caspase-3, which was statistically significant. Conclusion GPXJY can regulate the structure and function of mitochondria in HepG2 cells.

RESUMO

Galli Gigerii Endothelium Corneum(GGEC), the dried gizzard membrane of Gallus gallus domesticus is a Chinese medicinal material commonly used for digestion. However, due to the particularity of texture and composition, its active ingre-dients have not been clarified so far, and there is also a lack of quality evaluation indicators. In this study, UPLC-Q-TOF-MS was used to analyze the chemical components from the water extract of GGEC, and ten nucleosides were identified for the first time. HPLC fingerprints of the water extracts of GGEC were established and the content of seven nucleosides was determined. The fingerprint similarities of 40 batches of GGEC samples ranged from 0.765 to 0.959, indicating that there were great differences among the GGEC products processed with different methods. In addition, SPSS 22.0 and SIMCA 14.1 were used for hierarchical cluster analysis(HCA) and principal component analysis(PCA) on the 19 common peaks of the HPLC fingerprints of GGEC, and the 40 batches of samples were divided into three categories: raw GGEC, fried GGEC and vinegar-processed GGEC. Eight differential components in GGEC were marked by orthogonal partial least squares discrimination analysis(OPLS-DA), two of which were adenine and thymine. The results of content determination showed that the total content of the seven nucleosides in raw GGEC, fried GGEC and vinegar-processed GGEC were 182.5-416.8, 205.3-368.7, and 194.2-283.0 μg·g~(-1), respectively. There were significant differences in the content of hypoxanthine, thymine and thymidine among the GGEC products processed with different methods(P<0.05), which were graded in the order of fried GGEC>vinegar-processed GGEC>raw GGEC. This suggested that the content of hypoxanthine, thymine and thymidine tended to increase during the frying process, and the variation range might be related to the degree of heat exposure. The established methods in this study were simple and reproducible, and could be used for qualitative and quantitative analysis of GGEC and its processed pro-ducts. This study also provided reference for the establishment of quality standards of GGEC with chemical components as control index.

RESUMO

Preoperative detection of biomarkers that can predict postoperative survival of gastric cancer patients has important implications for surgical procedures, postoperative chemoradiotherapy and followup. Using multi-center cancer database and online analysis and verifying by qRT-PCR and Western blotting, we found that Osteomodulin (OMD) was highly expressed in gastric cancer tissues (P =0. 015) and could affect the survival of gastric cancer patients (P < 0. 001) and can be detected preoperatively to evaluate the prognosis of gastric cancer patients. The mRNA expression of OMD was significantly correlated with age (P = 0. 034), Lauren typing (P < 0. 001) and clinical stage (P =0. 001) of gastric cancer patients. It also associated with a variety of immune cells (dendritic cellsresting, eosinophils) and the immune checkpoint regulator ENTPD1 (rho = 0. 634, P < 0. 001) and chemokine CXCL12 (rho = 0. 625, P < 0. 001), which affects the occurrence and development of gastriccancer through the immune microenvironment. Therefore, OMD may become a clinically feasible prognostic biomarker of gastric cancer and a new target for immunotherapy.

RESUMO

ObjectiveTo observe the pathological changes of hepatic sinusoidal obstruction syndrome (HSOS) induced by different doses of monocrotaline (MCT) in rats, investigate the dose and duration of modeling, and elucidate the mechanism. MethodA total of 72 male SD rats were randomized into normal group (n=12), and low-, medium-, and high-dose MCT groups (n=20 per group, 80,120,160 mg·kg-1, respecctively). In the model groups, different doses of MCT were intragastrically administered to induce the HSOS in rats. After 48 h and 120 h separately, rats in each group were sacrificed and sampling was performed. The survival rate of rats in each group was calculated, and the body weight, liver weight, and and serum liver function indexes of the rats were examined. The histopathological changes of the liver were observed based on scanning electron microscopy, hematoxylin and eosin (HE) staining, and Sirius red (SR) staining. Glutathione S-transferase (GST) activity, total superoxide dismutase (T-SOD) activity, and malondialdehyde (MDA) content of liver tissue homogenate were measured with microplate method. The expression of liver tissue-related indexes was detected by real-time polymerase chain reaction (PCR), Western blot, and immunohistochemistry. ResultThe activity of serum alanine aminotransferase (ALT) and aspartate aminotransferase (AST) in MCT groups rose with the increase in MCT dose (P<0.05, P<0.01) compared with that in the normal group. With the extension of modeling time, the activity of serum ALT and AST in the low-dose group decreased (P<0.01), while the activity of them in the medium-dose and high-dose groups increased (P<0.01). HE staining showed that hepatocyte necrosis, inflammatory cell infiltration, and erythrocyte accumulation in MCT groups. Electron microscopy demonstrated that fenestrae of liver sinusoidal endothelial cells widened and the sieve plates disappeared. Morever, the injury was worsened with the increase in MCT dose. In addition, the expression of CD44 in MCT groups was significantly reduced compared with that in the normal group (P<0.05, P<0.01). SR staining showed that no positive staining was found in model groups after 48 h, while collagen deposition in portal areas and liver sinusoids could be seen in model groups after 120 h. MCT groups showed increase in MDA content and GST activity and decrease in T-SOD activity compared with the normal group, particularly the medium-dose and high-dose groups (P<0.01), and the changes were dose-dependent after 120 h (P<0.01). The protein expression of CD68 (pro-inflammatory macrophage marker) was raised with the increase in dosage, which was consistent with the results of immunohistochemistry (P<0.01), while CD163 (anti-inflammatory macrophage marker) protein and mRNA expression was significantly decreased with the increase in dosage (P<0.01). Western blot results showed that the expression of phosphorylated nuclear factor-κB/nuclear factor-κB (p-NF-κB/NF-κB) and phosphorylated protein kinase B/protein kinase B (p-Akt/t-Akt) was significantly increased in medium-dose and high-dose MCT groups (P<0.05,P<0.01). The protein expression of α-smooth muscle actin (α-SMA) in liver tissues in MCT groups was significantly increased over time and with the increase in dose, and the mRNA expression of α-SMA, collagen type I α1 (Col1a1), and collagen type Ⅳ α1 (Col4a1) showed the same trend (P<0.05, P<0.01). The results of TUNEL staining showed that apoptotic cells were increased with the rise of MCT dose, while B-cell lymphoma-2(Bcl-2) /Bcl-2 associated X protein (Bax) was remarkably decreased (P<0.01). ConclusionHSOS in rats induced by intragastric administration of different doses of MCT was aggravated with the increase of dosage. In the low-dose (80 mg·kg-1) MCT group, the liver healed spontaneously over time. However, liver damage caused by MCT of 120 mg·kg-1 and 160 mg·kg-1 aggravated over time, and even fibrosis and death occurred. The pathological mechanism of MCT-induced HSOS in rats may be that MCT triggered intense oxidative stress in liver tissue, thus activated pro-inflammatory macrophages to secrete large amounts of inflammatory factors, and further activated the NF-κB/Akt signalling pathway, leading to severe cell damage and death.

RESUMO

ObjectiveTo screen the active antitumor components of Gupi Xiaoji decoction by network pharmacology and molecular docking based on the pyroptosis mediated by cysteinyl aspartate-specific protease 1 (Caspase-1) and explore its molecular mechanism in intervening in the pyroptosis of HepG2.2.15 cells through in vitro experiments. MethodThe compounds and targets of Gupi Xiaoji decoction were screened out by Traditional Chinese Medicine Systems Pharmacology Database and Analysis Platform(TCMSP) to obtain the corresponding gene symbols. The targets of Caspase-1 were collected from GeneCards, online mendelian inheritance in man(OMIM),PharmGKB,and TTD,and the compound-gene target regulatory network was constructed by Cytoscape. The protein-protein interaction(PPI) network was established and analyzed by STRING. The mechanism of the effective components of Gupi Xiaoji decoction on Caspase-1 was predicted by gene ontology(GO) functional enrichment and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes(KEGG) pathway enrichment analyses. The molecular docking was verified with AutoDock Vina. The plasma medicated with Gupi Xiaoji Decoction was prepared and HepG2.2.15 cells were cultured in vitro. HepG2.2.15 cells were divided into a blank plasma group,a VX-765 group,a VX-765+medicated plasma group, and a medicated plasma group. After 48 hours of intervention with 15% medicated plasma, the expression and distribution of gasdermin D-N (GSDMD-N) on the surface of the cell membrane were detected by immunofluorescence staining. The release of lactic dehydrogenase (LDH), interleukin(IL)-1β,and IL-18 in the cell supernatant was measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA) kits. The expression of Caspase-1 and GSDMD-N was measured by Western blot. ResultThe mitogen-activated protein kinase 14 (MAPK14),MAPK1,protein kinase B1 (Akt1), MAPK8, V-Jun sarcoma virus oncogene homolog (JUN), and TP53 screened by network pharmacology were the main targets. The compounds 7-hydroxy-5,8-dimethoxy-2-phenyl-chromone,wogonin,rhamnazin,moslosooflavone,isorhamnetin,7-O-methylisomucronulatol,formononetin,calycosin,luteolin,quercetin,kaempferol,β-sitosterol,and baicalein screened by network pharmacology were the main active components of Gupi Xiaoji decoction. Go enrichment analysis showed that multiple biological processes were involved, including responses to oxidative stress and metal ions,ubiquitin-like protein ligase binding, and phosphatase binding. KEGG pathway enrichment analysis showed MAPK pathway, nuclear factor(NF)-κB pathway,p53 pathway, and hypoxia-inducible factor-1(HIF-1) pathway were involved. Molecular docking showed that the targets had good binding with the components. In vitro experiments displayed that compared with the blank plasma group, the VX-765 group showed weakened GSDMD-N fluorescence signal, reduced release of LDH,IL-1β,and IL-18,and declining expression of Caspase-1 and GSDMD-N(P<0.01), and the medicated plasma group showed increased GSDMD-N fluorescence signal, increased release of LDH,IL-1β,and IL-18,and up-regulated expression of Caspase-1 and GSDMD-N(P<0.01). ConclusionGupi Xiaoji Decoction can induce the pyroptosis of HepG2.2.15 cells by regulating Caspase-1 through multiple targets and multiple pathways.

RESUMO

Chronic psychological stress can promote vascular diseases, such as hypertension and atherosclerosis. This study aims to explore the effects and mechanism of chronic psychological stress on aortic medial calcification (AMC). Rat arterial calcification model was established by nicotine gavage in combination with vitamin D3 (VitD3) intramuscular injection, and rat model of chronic psychological stress was induced by humid environment. Aortic calcification in rats was evaluated by using Alizarin red staining, aortic calcium content detection, and alkaline phosphatase (ALP) activity assay. The expression levels of the related proteins, including vascular smooth muscle cells (VSMCs) contractile phenotype marker SM22α, osteoblast-like phenotype marker RUNX2, and endoplasmic reticulum stress (ERS) markers (GRP78 and CHOP), were determined by Western blot. The results showed that chronic psychological stress alone induced AMC in rats, further aggravated AMC induced by nicotine in combination with VitD3, promoted the osteoblast-like phenotype transformation of VSMCs and aortic ERS activation, and significantly increased the plasma cortisol levels. The 11β-hydroxylase inhibitor metyrapone effectively reduced chronic psychological stress-induced plasma cortisol levels and ameliorated AMC and aortic ERS in chronic psychological stress model rats. Conversely, the glucocorticoid receptor agonist dexamethasone induced AMC, promoted AMC induced by nicotine combined with VitD3, and further activated aortic ERS. The above effects of dexamethasone could be inhibited by ERS inhibitor 4-phenylbutyrate. These results suggest that chronic psychological stress can lead to the occurrence and development of AMC by promoting glucocorticoid synthesis, which may provide new strategies and targets for the prevention and control of AMC.

RESUMO

OBJECTIVE@#To analyze the clinical characteristics and risk factors of invasive fungal infection (IFI) occurenced in patients with acute leukemia (AL) during treatment in tropical regions.@*METHODS@#The clinical data of 68 AL patients admitted to the Hainan Hospital of PLA General Hospital from April 2012 to April 2019 was retrospectively analyzed. Logistic regression analysis was used to analyze the factors affecting the occurrence of IFI in AL patients.@*RESULTS@#Among the 68 patients, 44 were acute myeloid leukemia, 24 were acute lymphoblastic leukemia, 39 were male, 29 were female and the median age was 41(13-75) years old. The 68 patients received 242 times of chemotherapy or hematopoietic stem cell transplantation(HSCT), including 73 times of initial chemotherapy or inducting chemotherapy after recurrence, 14 times of HSCT, 155 times of consolidating chemotherapy. Patients received 152 times of anti-fungal prophylaxis, including 77 times of primary anti-fungal prophylaxis and 75 times of secondary anti-fungal prophylaxis. Finally, the incidence of IFI was 31 times, including 24 times of probable diagnosis, 7 times of proven diagnosis, and the total incidence of IFI was 12.8%(31/242), the incidence of IFI in inducting chemotherapy was 24.66%(18/73), the incidence of IFI in HSCT patients was 28.57% (4/14), the incidence of IFI in consolidating chemotherapy was 5.80% (9/155). Multivariate analysis showed that inducting chemotherapy or HSCT, the time of agranulocytosis ≥7 days, risk stratification of high risk were the independent risk factors for IFI in AL patients during treatment in tropical regions.@*CONCLUSION@#The incidence of IFI in patients with AL in the tropics regions is significantly higher than that in other regions at homeland and abroad. Anti-fungal prophylaxis should be given to the patients with AL who have the high risk factors of inducting chemotherapy or HSCT, time of agranulocytosis ≥7 days and risk stratification of high risk.

RESUMO

OBJECTIVE@#To investigate the morphological, histological and ultrastructural changes of acute closed rupture of Achilles tendon, in order to clarify the pathological basis of the injury and to explore the significance.@*METHODS@#From January 2015 to January 2019, 35 patients with acute Achilles tendon rupture who underwent the minimally invasive Achilles tendon suture technique were retrospectively analyzed. Among these patients, 12 cases in acute open Achilles tendon rupture group included 10 males and 2 females, with an average age of (35.1±9.7) years old ranging from 19 to 50, and the time from injury to operation was 2 to 8 hours with an average of(5.6±1.8);23 cases in acute closed Achilles tendon rupture group included 21 males and 2 females, with an average age of (35.5±6.6) years old ranging from 18 to 50, and the time from injury to operation was 3 to 15 hours with an average of (7.5±3.1). The gross appearance and imaging findings of the broken end of Achilles tendon tissue in the two groups were compared by naked eye observation and foot and ankle MRI at 4 to 6 hours before operation. HE staining, scanning and fluoroscopic electron microscopy, immunohistochemistry(Sirius red staining) were performed on the intraoperative Achilles tendon tissue specimens at 1 to 2 days after operation, the collagen fiber degeneration and local fat infiltration, collagen fiber shape, cell morphology and function, and the distribution of typeⅠand type Ⅲ collagen fibers in Achilles tendon were compared between the two groups.@*RESULTS@#Compared with the acute open Achilles tendon rupture group, the acute closed Achilles tendon rupture group had poor elasticity, hard texture, moderate edema, irregular shape of Achilles tendon broken end, horsetail shape, and more calcification around the broken end. HE staining results:the collagen fibers in the Achilles tendon of the acute open Achilles tendon rupture group were arranged irregularly, with hyaline degeneration and fat infiltration; The results of electron microscopy showed that collagen arranged disorderly and fibroblasts atrophied in the acute closed Achilles tendon rupture group. Immunohistochemical(Sirius staining) results:the proportion of collagenⅠin the acute open Achilles tendon rupture group and the acute closed Achilles tendon rupture group was(91.12±4.34)% and(54.71±17.78)% respectively, and the proportion of collagen Ⅲ was (8.88±4.34)% and (45.29±17.78)% respectively. The content of collagenⅠin the acute closed Achilles tendon rupture group was lower than that in the acute open Achilles tendon rupture group, and the content of collagen Ⅲ in the acute closed Achilles tendon rupture group was higher than that in the acute open Achilles tendon rupture group(P<0.05).@*CONCLUSION@#The morphology, histology and ultrastructure of the acute closed ruptured Achilles tendon are significantly altered compared with the normal Achilles tendon. The original fine and orderly spatial structure cannot be maintained, part of collagen Ⅰ is replaced by collagen Ⅲ, and the toughness and strength of the tendon tissue decreased, which may be the feature of degeneration of the Achilles tendon and an important pathological basis for closed Achilles tendon rupture.

RESUMO

OBJECTIVE@#To explore the expression patterns, prognostic implications, and biological role of leukotriene B4 receptor (LTB4R) in patients with acute myeloid leukemia (AML).@*METHODS@#We collected the data of mRNA expression levels and clinical information of patients with AML from The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) and Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO) database for mRNA expression analyses, survival analyses, Cox regression analyses and correlation analyses using R studio to assess the expression patterns and prognostic value of LTB4R. The correlation of LTB4R expression levels with clinical characteristics of the patients were analyzed using UALCAN. The co-expressed genes LTB4R were screened from Linkedomics and subjected to functional enrichment analysis. A protein-protein interaction network was constructed using STRING. GSEA analyses of the differentially expressed genes (DEGs) were performed based on datasets from TCGA-LAML stratified by LTB4R expression level. We also collected peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) from AML patients and healthy donors for examination of the mRNA expression levels of LTB4R and immune checkpoint genes using qRT-PCR. We also examined serum LTB4R protein levels in the patients using ELISA.@*RESULTS@#The mRNA expression level of LTB4R was significantly increased in AML patients (4.898±1.220 vs 2.252±0.215, P < 0.001), and an elevated LTB4R expression level was correlated with a poor overall survival (OS) of the patients (P=0.004, HR=1.74). LTB4R was identified as an independent prognostic factor for OS (P=0.019, HR=1.66) and was associated with FAB subtypes, cytogenetic risk, karyotype abnormalities and NPM1 mutations. The co- expressed genes of LTB4R were enriched in the functional pathways closely associated with AML leukemogenesis, including neutrophil inflammation, lymphocyte activation, signal transduction, and metabolism. The DEGs were enriched in differentiation, activation of immune cells, and cytokine signaling. Examination of the clinical serum samples also demonstrated significantly increased expressions of LTB4R mRNA (P=0.044) and protein (P=0.008) in AML patients, and LTB4R mRNA expression was positively correlated with the expression of the immune checkpoint HAVCR2 (r= 0.466, P=0.040).@*CONCLUSION@#LTB4R can serve as a novel biomarker and independent prognostic indicator of AML and its expression patterns provide insights into the crosstalk of leukemogenesis signaling pathways involving tumor immunity and metabolism.
