RESUMO

OBJECTIVE@#To analyze the causes of positive irregular antibody screening test and incompatibility of cross matching in one patient with autoimmune hemolytic anemia complicated with neonatal hemolytic disease, and to accurately identify the type of antibodies in patients, and to select a reasonable strategy for blood transfusion.@*METHODS@#One children was enrolled, blood group positive and reverse typing, Rh typing, direct anti-human globulin test, free test, dispersal test and cross matching test were carried out by test tube method and microcolumn gel card; irregular antibodies were identified by the reaction of DTT treatment and untreated panel cells with patients' plasma.@*RESULTS@#The blood group of the patient was RhD positive B and irregular antibody screening positive, while the blood group of the mother was RhD positive O and irregular anti-screening negative, the result showed that the anti-LW detected in the plasma of the patient was autoantibody and ABO neonatal hemolytic disease (ABO-HDN) was present. Both O type RhD positive washing RBCs and B type RhD negative RBCs were transfused effectively.@*CONCLUSION@#Irregular antibodies in patients are anti-LW antibodies, and transfusion of homotype RhD negative suspended erythrocytes after the exclusion of ABO-HDN shows a better effect.

RESUMO

Objective To predict signal transduction pathways of the integrin adhesome via bioinformatics method, so as to provide references for experimental study on the mechanism of integrin-related signal transduction pathways. Methods First, the interaction network between the interactive integrin adhesome was constructed, and the confidence probability of each interaction was used as its link weight, respectively. Secondly, the pathways of the minimum weight were identified via a standard dynamic programming algorithm. Finally, all pathways calculated by the algorithm were aggregated into some probable networks. Results Seven signal transduction pathways were obtained from the integrin adhesome interaction network that contained 147 components with 736 interactions. In every predicted signal transduction pathway, the coverage rate of the proteins with Gene Ontology annotation was calculated. Conclusions By research on signal transduction pathways the pathogenesis of some diseases can be explored at the molecular level. Several possible signal transduction pathways obtained in this study have some reference value for exploring disease mechanism in basic medical sciences, and also provide some useful information for such exploration under the stimulation of external signals including mechanical or chemical signals.

RESUMO

Nogo is widely expressed in higher vertebrate animals. Nogo gene gives rise to multiple isoforms. All the subtypes of Nogo proteins are characterized by a 200-amino-acid C-terminal domain, including two long hydrophobic sequences. Biological functions of Nogo include inhibition of neurite growth from the cell surface via specific receptors, intracellular trafficking, cell division and apoptosis. Here, we briefly review the elementary structure, taxonomic distribution and tissue expression of Nogo, summarize recent discoveries about localization of Nogo and mechanism of action, and discuss the possible functions of Nogo.
