RESUMO

Objective To investigate the treatment results for different regions of posterior cruciate ligament ganglion cyst by surgery. Methods From January 2011 to September 2016,17 patients with posterior cruciate ligament ganglion cysts of the knee were involved in this study.5 cases were located on the femoral side of the ligament (upper 1/3),8 cases were in the middle, and 4 cases were located in the tibia side (lower 1/3),15 cases were operated and 2 were not.A total of 13 cases in the upper 2/3 of the ligament were resected by the anterior two approaches through arthroscopy.two of which were resected by the posterior capsule.2 cases of the tibial lateral cysts were resected by posterior approach.Lysholm scoring system was used to evaluate the knee function before and after operation, and Glasgow curative effect system was used to evaluate the final follow-up results. Results A follow-up 6-24 months in an average of (12.6 ± 3.2) months shows no sign of recurrence at the last follow-up,all patients had no complications such as infection, ligament relaxation,et al.Lysholm score was improved from 57.5 ± 5.2 preoperatively to 92.5 ± 3.6 postoperatively, and the statistical difference is very significant (P < 0.05).And curative effect was evaluated well by Glasgow system. Conclusions Arthroscopic surgery is an effective measure in the treatment of postior cruciate ligament (PCL) ganglion cysts. The upper part of the ligament can be resolved through the anterior approach, and the lower part should be followed by the posterior approach, and if necessary, open the way to handle the external part of the joint.

RESUMO

AIM:To observe the effects of the combination of berberin and epirubicin on the cell cycle of T24 bladder cancer cells and the underlying mechanisms.METHODS:The cancer cells were exposed to epirubicin in the presence or absence of different concentrations of berberin. The viability of the cancer cells was determined by MTT assay. The cell cycle distribution was detected by flow cytometry, and the protein levels of cyclin D1, CDK2, CDK4, P21 and P27 were detected by Western blot.RESULTS:Berberine markedly enhanced the inhibitory effect of epirubicin on the viability of T24 cells and promoted epirubicin-induced cell cycle arrest at G0/G1 phase as compared with the negative control cells.Epirubicin increased the protein expression of P27 and P21, both of which were enhanced by treatment with berberin. In contrast, berberin exposure further decreased the protein expression of cyclin D1, CDK2 and CDK4 in epirubicin-treated T24 cells.CONCLUSION:Berberine significantly promotes epirubicin-induced G0 /G1 phase arrest in human bladder cancer cells by up-regulating P27 and P21 expression and inhibiting the expression of cyclin D1, CDK2 and CDK4.

RESUMO

Objective To understand the development history and current situation of healthcare-associated infection(HAI)management in children’s hospitals in China during the past 30 years. Methods A retrospective survey was conducted in 20 children’s hospitals, the investigated contents included:basic situation of hospitals, HAI management organizations and professionals, the support of hospital leaders for the management of HAI, training on HAI knowledge, monitoring on HAI,and so on.Results Up to 2015,20 hospitals all set up independent HAI management departments and HAI management committees,46.15%(6/13)of hospitals with more than 1 000 beds were understaffed in HAI management. There were a total of 88 professionals in HAI management in 20 children’s hospitals in 2015,53.41% (n=47)of professionals had bachelor degree,34.09% (n=30)were with intermediate professional title,46.59%(n=41)were nursing staff.Up to 2015,incidences and missing report rates of HAI,antimicrobial usage rates, incidences of HAI in neonates all decreased compared with 2006.In 2015,20 (100.00%)hospitals all carried out monitoring on antimicrobial application,multidrug-resistant organisms,disin-fection and sterilization, and provided personnel protective equipment. In 2015,9(45.00%)hospitals used non-tou-ch faucets in all wards,19(95.00%)hospitals supplied hand-drying paper towel and alcohol-based hand rub in all wards.None of professionals in these hospitals participated in national-level training on HAI for ≥3 times in 1996, professionals in 11 hospitals (55.00%)participated in national-level training for ≥3 times in 2015.Conclusion In the past 30 years, the management of HAI in children’s hospitals in China has basically met the requirement,moni-toring on HAI gradually improved, but allocation of HAI professionals and personnel quality ability still need to be strengthened.

RESUMO

OBJECTIVE To apply the clinical pathway in hospital infection control in order to cut down the development of hospital infection.METHODS To take clinical pathway combined with clinic,to establish scientific, effective and standard measures to reduce hospital infection.RESULTS To practice clinical pathway could raise medical quality, rationally utilize the health resources, decrease economy burden of the patient and control hospital infection.CONCLUSIONS It′s of practical importance to promote the hospital infection management through clinical pathway.

RESUMO

OBJECTIVE To understand the infection of Acinetobacter baumannii(ABA) in children and make analysis for its resistance to 15 antibiotics.METHODS The collection of clinical strains of ABA isolated from the hospital.the pathogens were identified by MicroScan WalkAway-40 system.RESULTS Eighty-one(95%) ABA among 85 isolates were from respiratory tract. The result of drug susceptibility showed that ABA was highly sensitive to the 15 antibiotics.Multi-resistant ABA bacteria accounted for 8.2%(7/85).CONCLUSIONS ABA strains isolated from children patients show the trend of multi-drug resistance.we should pay more attention to monitor the susceptibility to antibiotics.

RESUMO

OBJECTIVE To provide evidence for decision on the risk factors of nosocomial infection in diabetes.METHODS To search CMBdisc and CHKD supplemented by information from trial registers,8 epidemiological studies on the risk factors of nosocomial infection on diabetes from 1997 to 2004 were analyzed synthetically by meta analysis.RESULTS Through analysis age, course, hospitalization days, blood sugar, wound check, and(antibiotics) utilization were of the significant statistical difference.Risk, sex and complication were of no significant statistical difference.CONCLUSIONS The factors of nosocomial infection on diabetes are age, course,(hospitalization) days, blood sugar, wound check, and antibiotics utilization. But this meta analysis only included domestic(papers). There need enough evidence to support the result and may justify further research.
