RESUMO

ObjectiveTo investigate the mental health of pediatricians in Guangzhou and its influencing factors, and to provide countermeasures for improving the mental health of pediatricians. MethodsA stratified random sampling method was used to randomly select 400 pediatricians in 11 districts of Guangzhou, and they were surveyed using the Symptom Check List(SCL-90) and the Job Stressor Scale. ResultsThe top three job stressors scored by pediatricians in Guangzhou were external environment (3.23±0.59), workload (3.19±0.56), and organizational management (2.74±0.55). All factor scores were higher than those of the clinician group except for career interest, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.01). The number of pediatricians with mental health problems was 109, accounting for 27.25%. All factor scores were higher than the physician norm except for anxiety and paranoia. The correlations between each factor of work stressors and each factor of SCL-90 were positive and statistically significant (P<0.05), except for two pairs of factors, workload and terror as well as external environment and terror. The results of univariate analysis showed statistically significant differences in the mental health scores of pediatricians with different health status, years of work experience, job satisfaction, job stress, and career prospects (P<0.05). The results of multiple linear regression showed that health status, years of work experience, professional interest, interpersonal relationship, and doctor-patient relationship were influential factors in the mental health of pediatricians (P<0.05). ConclusionThe mental health of pediatricians in Guangzhou is unsatisfactory, and the factors affecting them are mainly external objective factors such as workload and organizational management.

RESUMO

Objective: To analyze the characteristics of scientific papers in the field of global liver diseases published by Chinese scholars that were retracted for diverse reasons from the Retraction Watch database, so as to provide a reference to publishing-related papers. Methods: The Retraction Watch database was retrieved for retracted papers in the field of global liver disease published by Chinese scholars from March 1, 2008 to January 28, 2021. The regional distribution, source journals, reasons for retraction, publication and retraction times, and others were analyzed. Results: A total of 101 retracted papers that were distributed across 21 provinces/cities were retrieved. Zhejiang area (n = 17) had the most retracted papers, followed by Shanghai (n = 14), and Beijing (n = 11). The vast majority were research papers (n = 95). The journal PLoS One had the highest number of retracted papers. In terms of time distribution, 2019 (n = 36) had the most retracted papers. 23 papers, accounting for 8.3% of all retractions, were retracted owing to journal or publisher concerns. Liver cancer (34%), liver transplantation (16%), hepatitis (14%), and others were the main areas of retracted papers. Conclusion: Chinese scholars have a large number of retracted articles in the field of global liver diseases. A journal or publisher chooses to retract a manuscript after investigating and discovering more flawed problems, which, however, require further support, revision, and supervision from the editorial and academic circles.

RESUMO

@#AIM: To investigate the clinical effect of Ranibizumab combined with laser for diabetic macular edema and the effect on visual acuity. <p>METHODS: Totally 80 patients(138 eyes)with diabetic edema who were treated in our hospital from January 2015 to December 2015 were selected, and 40 patients were randomly divided into the combined group(67 eyes in 40 patients, treated by ranibizumab and laser therapy), the control group(71 eyes in 40 cases, laser treatment only). We compared the treatment effect of the two groups and the impact on the patient's vision. <p>RESULTS: After treated for 1wk, 3mo, and 6mo, the BCVA(LogMAR)and central macular thickness(CMT)values of the patients in the two groups were significantly lower than those before treatment(<i>P</i><0.05); the BCVA(LogMAR)and CMT values of the combined group were lower than those of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(<i>P</i><0.05). After treated for 1wk, 3mo, and 6mo, IOP of the two groups was not significantly different compared with before treatment(<i>P</i>>0.05); IOP value of combined group compared with those of the control group, was not significantly different(<i>P</i>>0.05). <p>CONCLUSION: The combination of ranibizumab and laser treatment for diabetic macular edema can more significantly reduce macular edema, improve visual acuity.

RESUMO

Aim To primarily discuss the mechanism of Rhizoma Alismatis decoction on prevention and treatment of hyperlipemia, through investigating hepat-ic expressions of peroxisome proliferator activated re-ceptor-α(PPARα)and acyl CoA oxidase (ACO)in rats with hyperlipemia. Methods Fifty male Sprague-Dawley rats(160 ~ 180 g)were randomly divided into five groups:control group, model group,high-dose of Rhizoma Alismatis decoction group (H-RAD),low-dose of Rhizoma Alismatis decoction group(L-RAD), and Xue-Zhi-Kang group(XZK). Rats in control group were fed with ordinary forage, and the others were with high-fat forage, which lasted for four weeks. At the same time, high and low-dose of Rhizoma Alismatis decoction,as well as Xuezhikang capsule, was admin-istered in respectively designed groups. Then, the TC, TG,HDL and LDL of serum were detected, the mor-phology of liver tissues was observed with HE,and the expressions of PPARα and ACO were detected with RT-PCR and Western blot after four weeks. Results Rhizoma Alismatis decoction could significantly reduce serum concentration of TC,TG and LDL(P < 0. 01), while increasing the concentration of HDL(P < 0. 01) and strengthening the expressions of PPARα and ACO (P < 0. 01). Conclusion Strengthening the expres-sions of PPARα and ACO can be viewed as mecha-nisms of Rhizoma Alismatis decoction in prevention and treatment of hyperlipemia.

RESUMO

<p><b>OBJECTIVE</b>Observing the effect of phenolic acids from Arnebia euchroma assist mifepristone in anti-early pregnancy of SD rattus norvegicus.</p><p><b>METHOD</b>Feed the SD rattus norvegicus with phenolic acids from A. euchroma during the 7 th to 9 th day, and then we observe the restaining rate of pregnancy. At the same time, we determine the progesterone level in blood serum in the ways of radioimmunoassay.</p><p><b>RESULT</b>720 g x kg(-1) enolic aids from A. euchroma can markedly increase the restaining rate of pregnancy (P < 0.05) than that only mifepristone dose (8.0 g x kg(-1)). In addition, the number of everage still bith increase, however, to the pogesterone level in blood serum. It has little effect.</p><p><b>CONCLUSION</b>The effect of phenolic acids from A. euchroma assist mifepristone in anti-early pregnancy of SD rattus norvegicus is clear, and it dosen't work in the ways of decreasing the pogesterone level.</p>
