RESUMO

This paper summarizes the current situation and problems of the research on the theory of "Taibai Seven Medicines" through literature summary and surveys. Although the "Four Beams and Eight Pillars" theory of compounding has a long history, the current research progress of "Taibai Seven Medicines" is mostly focused on plant resources. There lacks researches on the theory of compounding, or development of compounding and large varieties based on "Taibai Seven Medicines". We call for the inheritance and protection of folk experience, and hope that the "Four Beams and Eight Pillars" theory can guide the application and development of the seven Taibai medicines. Therefore, increasing the research on the theory and teaching in undergraduate courses formulary in Chinese medicine are necessary in our province.

RESUMO

Qinling is a treasury of medicine with abundant resources of herbs. Due to the goal of enriching teaching contents, quality of teaching and creating a Chinese materia medica teaching system. Based on the Qinling plant gene database, our education team presents a series of innovative thoughts, such as multidisciplinary contact, inheriting and carrying forward the folk medicine, attaching importance to the practical application of herbs in Qinling and theory with practice to enrich teaching contentsand creating Shanxi characteristic teaching system of Chinese materia madica. That makes a contribution to raise the level of teaching in modern traditional Chinese medicine and promote the development of medicine in Shannxi.

RESUMO

Objective To investigate the optimal isolation and purification conditions of flavonoids in Gnaphlium affine Thunb. and the content of flavonoids in different parts of Gnaphlium affine Thunb. was measured. Methods The separation and purification abilities of D-101 macroporoue adsorbing resins for flavonoids in Gnaphlium affine Thunb. were studied with adorption and desorption as index. The static adsorption and dynamic adsorption methods were used to analyze the effects of static saturated adsorption, static elution rate, sample concentration, sample pH value, eluent concentration and amount of eluent. The flavonoids concentrations were determined with rutin as standard. Results The D-101 macroporous adsorption resin had good effect on the separation and purification of flavonoids from Gnaphlium affine Thunb.; The optimal conditions for purification were: sample concentration 1.0 mg/ml, sample pH=4, 60% ethanol as desorption solvent, washing flow 2 BV/h, with these parameters. With such condition, the purity of flavonoids in Gnaphlium affine Thunb. was 60.92%; The content of flavonoids in Gnaphlium affine Thunb. showed the highest content was in the stem, the second in the flower, and the least in the root. Conclusions The purification of flavonoids from the D-101 macroporous adsorption resin increased in the best purified separation conditions and the content of flavonoids was the highest in the leaf.

RESUMO

Chinese medicine talents are the foundation and guarantee for the development of TCM, and the first resource for the inheritance and innovation of traditional Chinese medicine. Reforming the curriculum system and training mode of Chinese medicine, training Chinese medicine professional who are suitable for research and development of Chinese medicine, such as cultivation of Chinese medicine materials, quality detection, species identification and resource census, is the direction of further expansion and reformation of Chinese medicine education. In this article, on account of the characteristic of Chinese medicine professional courses, we will combine practice education mode with professional knowledge competition, to probe innovative mode of comprehensive ability training for Chinese medicine based on the combination of"Multi-mode and Multi-Ways". The new mode of Chinese medicine education is to provide reference for trainers of Chinese medicine.

RESUMO

Objective To investigate the influence of three different processing methods on contents and speciation of heavy metals Pb,Cd,Hg and Cu and a harmful nonmetallic element As in Cortex Eucommiae. Methods The five elements were measured by atomic absorption spectrometry. The determination wavelengthes of Pb and Cd was 283.3 and 228.8 nm using graphite furnace atom?ic absorption spectrometry;the determination wavelength of Cu was 324.8 nm using flame atomic absorption spectrometry;the determi?nation wavelengthes of As and Hg were 193.7 and 253.6 nm using flow injection-hydride generation method. Results Heavy metal′s contents in Cortex Eucommiae stir-fried with salt were increased. Contents of heavy metals in Cortex Eucommiae stir-fried and baked were decreased. Heavy metal morphology had no differences between processed products and raw materials. The experimental results showed that main existing form of Pb was in organic matter-bound,and mercury existed in exchange condition and organic matter-bound. Copper existed in organic matter-bound and carbonate bound and arsenic mainly existed with residual forms. Cadmium mainly exited in carbonate exchange condition. Conclusion There is a certain effect on the heavy metal content but less effect on the form of heavy metals by different processing methods.

RESUMO

Objective The molecular etiology of hearing impairment in Guangdong District has not been thor-oughly investigated.SCL26A4 gene mutation and relevant phenotype were analyzed in this study. Methods The coding exons of SLC26A4 were analyzed in 59 EVA cases. Those SLC26A4 gene mutations patients were examined by temporal bone CT.Results Fifty-nine cases were SLC26A4 mutations deafness patients, and 21 cases (35. 59%)and 38 cases (64.41%)patients with SLC26A4 biallelic allele (compound homozygous or heterozygous)and monoallelic gene mutation, including 16 cases of SLC26A4 gene IVS7-2 A> G homozygous mutations,2 cases of 2168A>G homozygous mutations and 3 cases of IVS7-2A>G,2168 A > G compound heterozygous mutations in children with CT showing bilateral enlarged vestibular aqueduct or other types of inner ear malformations.Thirty-one patients were IVS7-2A>G heterozygous for SLC26A4 mutation and seven 2168 A > G heterozygous muta-tion.Four patients with SLC26A4 gene mutations were confirmed to have enlarged vestibular aqueduct with Mondini dysplasia. Two patients with normal phenotype ,and others were enlarged vestibular aqueduct. Conclusion Muta-tions in the SLC26A4 gene with enlarged vestibular aqueduct patients were frequently found in Guangdong District.IVS7-2A>G mutations rate were highest, followed by 2168 A > G.We established the new strategy that detects SLC26A4 mutations prior to the temporal bone CT scan to find enlarged vestibular aqueduct and inner ear malforma-tion patients .

RESUMO

Maize is one of the most important food crops. Rice black-streaked dwarf virus is a maize rough dwarf disease pathogen. The occurrence and transmission of maize rough dwarf disease brings great damage to maize production. The technology of using artificial miRNA to build antiviral plant has been proven effective in a variety of plants. However, such trials in maize have not been reported. We designed primers based on the sequence of maize zea-miR159a precursor and sequence of function protein genes and silencing RBSDV coding genes in RBSDV genome. We constructed amiRNA (artificial miRNA) gene for silencing RBSDV coding gene and gene silencing suppressor. We constructed pCAMBIA3301-121-amiRNA plant expression vector for transforming maize inbred lines Z31 by using agrobacterium mediated method. After molecular analysis of transgenic maize, homozygous lines with high miRNA expression were selected by molecular detection for a subsequent natural infection experiment. We studied the severity of maize rough dwarf disease according to a grading standard (grade 0 to 4). The experiment results showed that the disease resistance of transgenic homozygous maize with the anti-rough dwarf virus amiRNA vector was better than that of wild type. Among the transgenic maize, S6-miR159 transgenic maize had high disease resistance. It is feasible to create new maize variety by the use of artificial miRNA.

RESUMO

This article reviewed key genes that involved in fatty acid synthesis and triacylglycerol assembly pathway. The transcription factors which play important roles in seed development and oil content were also reviewed. We summarized the achievement in modifying fatty acid composition and increase oil content in plant by gene engineering using these genes.
