RESUMO

Objective:To analyze the spatial distribution characteristics and spatial aggregation of the epidemic of severe fever with thrombocytopenia syndrome(SFTS) in Yantai City of Shandong Province, and to provide basis for formulating effective SFTS prevention and control measures. Methods:The epidemic data of SFTS confirmed cases in each township (street) in Yantai City, Shandong Province from 2015 to 2020 were collected from the "China Disease Prevention and Control Information System Infectious Disease Monitoring and Reporting System", and ArcGIS 10.2 software was used for spatial autocorrelation analysis. Results:From 2015 to 2020, a total of 839 SFTS cases were reported in Yantai City, including 124 deaths; with an average annual incidence rate of 2.14/100 000, and a total case fatality rate of 14.78%. Global spatial autocorrelation analysis showed that the distribution of SFTS cases in Yantai City from 2015 to 2020 showed a positive spatial correlation, with the highest spatial correlation in 2015 (Moran's I = 0.25, Z = 5.66, P < 0.001), and the lowest in 2018 (Moran's I = 0.16, Z = 3.69, P < 0.001). Local spatial autocorrelation and hotspot analysis showed that the epidemic areas of SFTS were mainly in some mountainous and hilly townships (streets) of Laizhou City, Penglai District, Qixia City, Zhaoyuan City, and Haiyang City. Conclusions:The distribution of SFTS epidemic in Yantai City has obvious regional clustering. Intervention measures such as publicity, education and monitoring should be strengthened in high-incidence areas to reduce the incidence of the disease.

RESUMO

Objective:To understand the epidemic characteristics and influential factors of brucellosis patients in Laizhou, Shandong Province, and to provide scientific basis for prevention and control of brucellosis. Methods:Retrospective analysis was conducted to collect the surveillance data and epidemiological investigation results of confirmed cases of brucellosis in Laizhou from 2016 to 2019 through the "Infectious Disease Report Information Management System of the China Disease Prevention and Control Information System". The general situation, epidemiological characteristics, and clinical characteristics of brucellosis were analyzed by descriptive epidemiology. Using the case-control study method, 81 confirmed cases of brucellosis and 162 healthy people in the same area, same gender and same age as confirmed cases were selected to analyze the influential factors of brucellosis. Results:Totally 222 cases of brucellosis had been reported in Laizhou, with an average annual incidence of 6.57/100 000. The onset age of brucellosis was mainly from 45 to 59 years old, accounting for 46.40% (103/222); male-to-female ratio was 2.42 ∶ 1.00 (157 ∶ 65); the occupation distribution was mainly farmer, accounting for 95.95% (213/222). The onset time of brucellosis was mainly from March to July, accounting for 58.11% (129/222). Cases of brucellosis were reported in 17 townships (streets) of Laizhou, and the top five townships were Zhuqiao, Shahe, Tushan, Chengguo and Yidao towns in order of incidence. Among 222 cases of brucellosis, the shortest interval from onset to diagnosis was 5 d, the longest was 36 d, and the median was 11 d. The main clinical manifestations of the patients were fever (89.19%, 198/222), fatigue (80.63%, 179/222), joint muscle soreness (72.97%, 162/222), and a few accompanied by liver, spleen and testis enlargement. The logistic regression analysis showed that contact with urine, feces and other excrements of diseased animals [odds ratio ( OR) = 6.244, 95% confidence interval ( CI): 1.609 - 24.231] and family members suffering from brucellosis ( OR = 16.363, 95% CI: 2.250 - 119.023) were risk factors of brucellosis. Conclusions:The incidence of brucellosis is mainly among 45 - 59 middle-aged farmers in Laizhou and the incidence peaks in spring and summer. Direct contact with excrements of diseased animals and family members suffering from brucellosis are the risk factors of brucellosis. Health departments should carry out health education and behavioral intervention for farmers in the season and areas with high incidence of brucellosis, so as to improve personal awareness of protection.

RESUMO

OBJECTIVE:To optimize the primary processing technology of Gentiana rigesce ns. METHODS :HPLC method was adopted for content determination of loganic acid ,swertiamarin and gentiopicroside in G. rigescens ,and overall desirability value (OD value ) of the contents of above 3 components was taken as index to carry out single factor test on blanching temperature, blanching time and drying temperature. Based on that ,Box-Behnken design-response surface methodology was used to optimize primary processing technology of G. rigescens . Validation test was also performed. The samples prepared by optimized technology were compared with those dried in the shade. RESULTS :The optimal primary processing technology of G. rigescens included blanching time of 5 min, blanching temperature of 40 ℃ and drying temperature of 60 ℃. Validation test showed that the average OD value of the 3 components was 0.565 2,with a deviation of 0.94% from the predicted value (0.570 6). Compared with samples dried in the shade ,OD value of 3 components in samples prepared by optimized technology were increased significantly , indicating the quality of the samples prepared by the optimized technology was better. CONCLUSIONS :The optimal technology is stable and feasible ,and can be used for the primary processing of G. rigescens .

RESUMO

OBJECTIVETo explore the relationship between expression of coiled-coil domain-containing protein 80(CCDC80) and obesity in serum and adipose tissues.

METHODSA cross-sectional survey was conducted in a hospital in Tangshan in September 2010. 100 people including 78 healthy people and 22 with type-2 diabetes were recruited. Another 36 female patients with benign tumor of Obstetrics and Gynecology were also recruited. Demographic characteristics and serum samples were collected from all subjects, basic biochemical indicators were tested. All subjects were divided into 'Normal Weight' and 'Overweight and Obese' according to their BMI (BMI <24.0 kg/m(2); BMI≥24 kg/m(2)). Serum CCDC80 of the 100 subjects was detected by ELISA. Visceral and subcutaneous fat were derived from the other 36 female subjects, and Real-time PCR was used to detect CCDC80 mRNA expression in adipose tissues. Pearson correlation and multiple linear regression were used to analyze the correlation between serum or adipose CCDC80 expression and waist, BMI, and other biochemical indicators.

RESULTSThe age of 100 subjects was (52.9±8.4) years old. 44% of them were women (44 cases) and 56% of them were men (56 cases). After dividing them into three groups according to their BMI, covariance analysis were conducted, and age and gender were adjusted. The HDL-C level was significantly different among three groups (F = 10.73, P < 0.001): 'Overweight and obese combined with diabetes' group ((0.90±0.06) mmol/L)< 'Overweight and obese' group ((1.14±0.04) mmol/L) < 'Normal weight' group ((1.28±0.05) mmol/L). The adjusted expression of serum CCDC80 of the 100 subjects was (5.84±0.16) pg/ml, (5.81±0.98) pg/ml among men and (5.97±0.89) pg/ml among women, and there was no significant difference (t = -0.812, P = 0.419) between genders. ANOVA revealed that there was no significant differences of the expression of serum CCDC80 among three groups (F = 1.06, P = 0.351), 'Normal weight' group was (5.84±0.16) pg/ml, 'overweight and obese' group was (6.11±0.14) pg/ml, and 'Overweight and obese combined with diabetes' group was (5.84±0.19) pg/ml. The analysis showed that FBG had a negative correlation with serum CCDC80 (R(b) = -0.223, P = 0.026). Multivariate linear regression had a similar result, with 1 mmol/L increase of serum FBG, serum CCDC80 decreases for 0.24 pg/ml (β = -0.24, 95% CI: -0.21--0.02). There was also a negative correlation between serum CCDC80 and FBG in overweight and obese people (R(a) = -0.368, P = 0.013). Besides, CCDC80 mRNA was detected in both subcutaneous and visceral adipose tissue of 36 cases, the expression level was 0.06±0.02 for subcutaneous fat, was 0.05±0.04 for visceral fat, and the expression in visceral fat was lower (0.05±0.03) than that in subcutaneous fat (0.06±0.03) (t = 2.50, P = 0.025) among overweight and obese group. There was a negative correlation between waist and visceral CCDC80 mRNA expression (r = -0.472, P = 0.035).

CONCLUSIONThis study suggested that CCDC80 may be involved in energy and insulin metabolism, and plays a protective role in obesity and diabetes.
