RESUMO

Objective@#To explore the predictive value of the timed "up and go" test on falling of inpatients with stroke, providing objective reference for clinical fall risk evaluation.@*Methods@#A total of 62 stroke in patients who were treated in the department of Neurology of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Shantou University Medical College from January 2018 to June 2018 were selected by the convenience sampling method. The timed "up and go" test was used to record the walking function of stroke inpatients. An ROC curve was used to analyze the efficacy in predicting falls of stroke inpatients.@*Results@#The TUGT has demonstrated intraclass correlation coefficient (ICC) value of 0.963 (95%CI 0.938-0.978), and Cronbach alpha coefficient value of 0.983.The difference of the TUGT time between recurrent-fall stroke inpatients [15.69 (13.30, 19.87) seconds] and the patients without a history of falling [12.45 (10.08, 16.26) seconds] was statistically significant (Z=-2.585, P<0.05). Meanwhile, the difference of the TUGT time between male stroke inpatients [13.12 (10.23, 15.35) seconds] and female stroke inpatients [17.09 (12.98, 19.87) seconds] was also statistically significant (Z=-2.297, P<0.05). The TUGT time was significantly (P<0.05) positively correlated both with the fall history (rs=0.331) and gender (rs=0.294) in stroke inpatients. The result of ROC curve showed that the optimal TUGT cut-off point for predicting the fall of male stroke patients was 13.12 seconds with 0.696 for AUC, 78.6% for sensitivity and 68.2% for specificity (P<0.05).While the optimal TUGT cut-off point for predicting the fall of female stroke inpatients was 13.68 seconds with 0.691 for AUC, 73.3% for sensitivity and 65.6% for specificity (P<0.05).@*Conclusions@#Although TUGT has good feasibility in stroke inpatients, its predictive value for future falls of stroke inpatients is medium. The assessment and prediction of fall risk should be considered carefully by medical workers so as to reduce the occurrence of falls in stroke inpatients.

RESUMO

Objective To investigate the effect of alprostadil combined with Salvia miltiorrhiza in treatment of hyperlipidemic acute pancreatitis. Methods Patients with high cholesterol of hyperlipidemic acute pancreatitis were randomly divided into control group and treatment group,32 cases in each group. The control group were treated with conventional therapy combined with alprostadil 10μg intravenous injection, the treatment group was given Salvia miltiorrhiza injection 20mL vein infusion on the basis of the control group. The abdominal pain relief time,APACHE -II,C reactive protein levels, prognosis, hospitalization time and cost were compared between the two groups. Results The abdominal pain relief time,APACHE -II score,C reactive protein level in the treatment group were (5.31 ± 1.09)d,(2.34 ±1.18),(48.41 ±22.64)mg/L,which were better than those in the control group (8.16 ±1.39)d, (4,47 ±1.68)and (65.34 ±18.02)mg/L,the differences were statistically significant (t =9.08,0.14,5.84,-0.49,3.31,all P 0.05).The operation rate of control group was 31.25% (10 /32),which was significantly higher than that of the treatment group [6.25%(2 /10)],the total hospitalization time, total cost of the treatment group were (14.50 ±1.55 )d and (4.97 ± 1.00)ten thousand yuan, which were significantly lower than those of the control group (16.78 ±1.83)d and (5.72 ± 1.71)ten thousand yuan, the differences were statistically significant (χ2 =6.65,t =1.00,t =5.39,all P <0.05). Conclusion Alprostadil combined with Salvia miltiorrhiza injection in the treatment of hyperlipidemia hyperlipidemia acute pancreatitis is safe, has good treatment effect, and can shorten the course of disease, reduce patients'hospitaliza-tion time and cost, and effectively improve the cure rate.

RESUMO

High levels of RNase, polysaccharides and polyphenol compounds make isolation of high quality RNA difficult. Thus it is presented an effective RNA extraction method based on the nuclease adsorbent macaloid, poly vinyl pyrrolidone, and high concentration of KAc and ethylene glycol monobutyl ether, which has successfully extracted high-quality RNA from many materials difficult to RNA isolation, such as RNase-rich rabbit liver, plant and microbial tissues rich in polysaccharides, lipids and polyphenol compounds. This method was found to be better than the ones in common use-Trizol and Guanidinium isothiocyanate, the yield of which was at least three time higher. Furtherly, small RNA was enriched from total RNA sample from rice seedling through by repeat deposit which deals with high concentration of LiCl,PEG8000 and NaCl. The small RNA gained was confirmed to be used for following molecular biological research by RT-PCR with the primers designed on osa-mir-156 sequence from rice miRNA.

RESUMO

Aim To explore the hemodynamic change of elderly isolated hypertension(EISH). Methods Color doppler ultrasonography were applied to examine thirty EISH patients and twenty eight elderly healthy subjects. The left ventricular systolic function as well as hemodynamic parameters were measured. Results The indices of left ventricular systolic function in EISH group such as SV,CO,EF and CI were obviously higher than those of control group(P<0.05),Linear relevant analysis show that pulse pressure was remarkable related to SV,CO,EF and CI in EISH group, with r value 0.43,0.56,0.46,0.45 respectively. Conclusion EISH patients apparently had ventricular systolic dysfunction and hemodynamic abnormality. Pulse pressure may be associated with development of sysytolic dysfunction.
