Role of myeloperoxidase in pathogenesis of coronary heart disease／ / 心血管康复医学杂志

:Atherosclerosis (AS) is the main pathological change of coronary heart disease (CHD).Acute coronary syn‐drome (ACS) is mainly caused by vulnerable AS plaque rupture .Researches have proved that myeloperoxidase (MPO) played an important role in early and progressive phases of vulnerable AS plaque formation .The present article made a re‐view on correlation between MPO and CHD and its predictive value for clinical cardiovascular adverse events .
