For the treatment of postherpetic neuralgia, drugs have always played a major but unsatisfactory role. As auxiliary or alternative therapies for postherpetic neuralgia, non-pharmacological interventions, such as electrical stimulation and repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation, not only have shown favorable efficacy, but also can decrease adverse reactions to drugs with high safety and patient acceptance, and are benificial for management of patients with postherpetic neuralgia.

Effect of long non-coding RNAs on glycolytic pathway in primary liver cancer and related mechanisms / 临床肝胆病杂志

Primary liver cancer is a common malignant tumor with complex pathogeneses and has the features of insidious onset, high degree of malignancy, and poor prognosis. The change in glycolytic pathway is one of the most important differences between tumor cells and normal cells, and tumor cells prefer to generate energy from glycolysis. Aerobic glycolysis is often associated with the progression and poor prognosis of primary liver cancer. Long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) can influence the glycolysis pathway in many tumors by regulating glucose uptake and the expression and activation of glycolytic enzymes and thus play an important role in the development and progression of primary liver cancer, which suggests that lncRNAs can be used as a therapeutic target for liver cancer. This article summarizes the influence of lncRNAs on primary liver cancer and glucose metabolism and related mechanisms, so as to find potential and effective targeted therapies for primary liver cancer.

Neonatal inherited metabolic diseases are a group of metabolic disorders caused by singe gene defect to cause a series of clinical symptoms.Neonatal dried blood spots have the advantages of simple preparation,safety,good stability,and show strong practicability in different screening methods for inherited metabolic diseases.With the development of screening methods,more and more diseases could be diagnosed by screening.The emergence of tandem mass spectrometry and molecular biological techniques promote the newborn screening and automation for inherited metabolic disease effectively.Inherited metabolic diseases induce great harm to the newborn,which could cause not only system organs damage,but also lead to death.Therefore,early screening is important for patients' prognosis.
