RESUMO

【Objective】 To explore the recruitment strategy of blood donors under the situation of blood supply shortage during the COVID-19 epidemic. 【Methods】 The theory of planned behavior and the stage change model of behavior were used to analyze the recruitment strategy of blood donors during the COVID-19 epidemic. The recruitment practice strategies of some countries or regions, i. e. the United States, Japan, South Korea, and the European Union, during this period were investigated. Based on the theoretical analysis results and practical status, relevant reference strategies were proposed. 【Results】 The theoretical analysis showed that attitude, subjective norms and ethical norms played an important role in the recruitment of blood donors during the COVID-19 epidemic, but blood donation self-efficacy and promoting blood donation behavior were the two key factors. According to the survey, in terms of enhancing and maintaining attitudes, subjective norms, ethical norms and other elements that were jointly affected by the same strategy, most countries continued previous policies while some updated recruitment ideas. In terms of enhancing and maintaining the key elements of blood donation self-efficacy, more human and material support had been made. 【Conclusion】 During the COVID-19 pandemic, enhancing and maintaining blood donation self-efficacy and promoting blood donation behavior are the key elements to effectively improve the blood supply shortage. The blood donor recruitment strategy constructed accordingly has reference value for China.

RESUMO

Immobility in older people refers to the loss of mobility, including walking, driving and using public or other forms of transport, and reflects the declining ability of older people to carry out their daily lives. The physical and psychological problems caused by immobility, such as high morbidity rates, worse quality of life and even social isolation, will present serious challenges to the health of older people.Research has shown that disease, exercise & muscle, diet & nutrition, society and other factors all contribute to the onset of immobility in older people. This review focuses on the influencing factors of immobility in older adults.

RESUMO

In order to cope with increasingly severe global population aging, WHO defines "healthy ageing" as the process of developing and maintaining the functional ability required for healthy living of the elderly.Functional ability is related to the interaction between intrinsic capacity(IC)and the environment.IC refers to the sum of all the physical and mental abilities of the individual.Unlike frailty and disability, IC focuses on the functional aspects of the elderly, longitudinally tracking a person's life, rather than on health conditions of the individual at a certain time.Evaluation of IC, including cognitive function, psychological status, sensory function, vitality and locomotor function, is expected to become crucial to predict outcomes and risks of care dependence in the elderly.Starting from screening for IC declines of the elderly in the community, integrated care is formulated taking older people and their caregivers into consideration to improve the quality of life of the elderly to the greatest extent and reduce the social burden.

RESUMO

Frailty syndrome is an age-related clinical state of the physiological homeostasis imbalance and the declines in physiological functions. However, the mechanism of frailty is still not clear, and it can only be diagnosed by assessment tools in the clinical research setting without stable and reliable biomarkers. As a new tool, omics platform has made a lot of progress in the field of frailty biomarkers. In this paper, we will review the research status of frailty biomarkers from four aspects including genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics and metabolomics.

RESUMO

ObjectiveTo study the situation of neural invasion in pancreatic cancer and investigate its related clinical factors. Methods The neural invasion in 73 cases of pancreatic cancer patients was retrospective analysed. The correlation between neural invasion and clinicopathological parameters, and survival rate was investigated. Results In 73 cases of pancreatic cancer, neural invasion occurred in 38(52.1%) patients, among whom intra-pancreatic neural invasion rate was 15.8% (n =6) ; and both intrapancreatic and external pancreatic plexus invasion rate was 84.2% ( n =32).Neural invasion was not related with gender, age, and pathological type, degree of differentiation, tumor size and lymph node metastasis (P > 0.05 ).But the presence of abdominal pain, vascular invasion, the expression of EGFR and VEGF in tumor tissue was significantly related with neural invasion (P <0.01 ).The median survival of patients in neural invasion group was 8 months, which were significantly shorter than that of in patients without neural invasion (13 months,x2 =4.69,P =0.030).Conclusions Neural invasion has a high incidence in pancreatic cancer, and it can cause obvious abdominal pain. And it is related with vascular invasion and the expression of EGFR and VEGF in tumor tissue.Neural invasion is one of the factors affecting the survival rate.

RESUMO

Objective: To observe the effect of ω-3 fish oil emulsion on the experimental severe acute pancreatitis(SAP)through the morphologic alteration of pancreas, the level of serum amylase(AMS)and the functions of liver and kidney, and explore its possible mechanism. Methods: Rat model of SAP was produced by injecting 5% Sodium Cholate(1 ml/kg)into the biliopancreatic duct.Male Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into 4 groups: normal group(n=6),fish oil emulsion treatment group(FOG,n=18),soybean oil emulsion treatment group(SOG,n=18) and normal sodium treatment group(NSG,n=18).Then fish oil emulsion(FO,10 ml/kg);soybean oil emulsion(SO,10 ml/kg)and normal sodium(NS,10 ml/kg)were intravenously injected respectively 120 minutes. The pancreatitis were confirmed by levels of serum AMS and histopathologic score.ALT,AST,BUN and Cr were tested 24 hours after the treatments.Expressions of IL-1β and IL-10 were tested by ELISA.The activated NF-kappa B was examined in the pancreases. Results: Lower level of serum AMS(P<0.05)and lower histopathology score(P<0.05) appeared in FOG.Compared with NS,FO decreased the levels of serum ALT and BUN significantly (P<0.05).FO significantly attenuated the expression of IL-1β (P<0.05).FO downregulated the activity of NF-kappa B efficiently. Conclusions: By down-regulating the levels of IL-1β together with up-regulating the level of IL-10,FO reduces inflammatory damage at the beginning of AP.

RESUMO

Objective To investigate the inhibitory effect of proliferation and invasiveness on PANC1 cell by knockdown of NF-κB P65 expression through RNA interference. Methods Chemically synthesized small interference RNA (siRNA) directed against human NF-κB p65 was transfected into pancreatic carcinoma cell (PANC1) by using cationic liposome LipofectamineTM 2000 as the transfection agent. A non-silencing siRNA was used as the negative control and distilled water was used as the blank control. The tests repeated for six times. The expression of NF-KB p65 and ICAM-1 gone was detected by RT-PCR. The effect of cell proliferation and invasive ability was evaluated by MTF, clony assay, Matrigel invasive tests. Results The relative expression levels of NF-κB p65 mRNA in siRNA, the negative control and the blank control group were 0.227 ±0.045, O. 381 ± 0. 038 and 0. 404 ± 0. 031, respectively; the relative expression levels of ICAM-1mRNA were 0.597 ± 0. 083, 0.983 ± 0.068 and 1. 027 ± 0.098, respectively; the inhibitory rate of the cells at 72h were 18.3%, 2.3% and 0, respectively; the colony forming efficiency were ( 14.1 ± 3.1 ) %, ( 24.5±2.1)% and (27.2 ±2.6)%, respectively; the number of invasive cells were 80.25 ±6.35, 123.83 ±8.80 and 127.68 ± 9.23, respectively; the difference between the siRNA group and two control groups was significant (P < 0. 01 ). Conclusions Down-regulatiag the expression of NF-κB p65 gene by RNAi may inhibit proliferation and invasiveness in pancreatic carcinoma cell strain PANC1.
