RESUMO

Today, there is greater awareness on the association between oral diseases and respiration diseases after the outbreak of COVID-19. However, confusion regarding the oral health management and medical risk prevention for patients with chronic airway diseases has been remained among dental clinicians. Therefore, the dental experts of the Fifth General Dentistry Special Committee, Chinese Stomatological Association, combined with the experts of respiratory and critical care medicine, undertook the formation of consensus on the oral health management of patients with chronic airway diseases in order to help dental clinicians to evaluate medical risks and make better treatment decision in clinical practice. In the present consensus report, the relationship of oral diseases and chronic airway diseases, the oral health management and the treatment recommendations of patients with chronic airway diseases are provided.

RESUMO

Objective:This study aims to observe the effect of baicalein on the clonal formation of triple negative breast cancer MDA-MB-231 and MDA-MB-468 cells, and to explore the mediation role of Yes- related protein (YAP) in it. Method:MDA-MB-231 and MDA-MB-468 cells were treated with baicalein. Thiazole blue (MTT) colorimetric method was used to detect cell proliferation ability. Plate cloning experiments was used to detect the colony forming ability. Immunofluorescence method was used to detect the nuclear distribution of YAP, and Western blot test was used to detect the protein expression levels of YAP large tumor suppressor factor 1 (LATS1), YAP, phosphorylated Yes- related protein(p-YAP) and phosphorylated YAP large tumor suppressor factor 1 (p-LATS1). Result:Compared with the blank group, baicalein (40, 80, 160 μmol·L-1) significantly inhibited the proliferation ability of MDA-MB-468 and MDA-MB-231 cells (P<0.05, P<0.01), and the inhibitory effect was dose-dependent. The half inhibit concentration(IC50) of baicalein against MDA-MB-468 and MDA-MB-231 cells were (80.3±7.2),(70.4±6.5) μmol·L-1, respectively. Compared with blank group, baicalein (5, 10, 20 μmol·L-1) had no significant effect on the proliferation of MDA-MB-468 and MDA-MB-231 cells, and the difference was not statistically significant. Compared with the blank group, baicalein (5, 10, 20 μmol·L-1) significantly dose-dependently reduced the cell colony formation rates of MDA-MB-468 and MDA-MB-231 cells (P<0.05, P<0.01), and baicalein (10, 20 μmol·L-1) significantly inhibited the nuclear expression of YAP in MDA-MB-468 and MDA-MB-231 cells in a dose-dependent manner(P<0.01). Also, baicalin (5, 10, 20 μmol·L-1) significantly up-regulated p-YAP and p-LATS1 protein expressions in MDA-MB-468 cells in a dose-dependent manner (P<0.05, P<0.01). Baicalein (10, 20 μmol·L-1) significantly up-regulated p-YAP and p-LATS1 protein expressions in MDA-MB-231 cells in a dose-dependent manner (P<0.01). Conclusion:Baicalein can inhibit colony formation of triple negative breast cancer MDA-MB-468 and MDA-MB-231 cells by mediating the reduction of YAP entry into the nucleus.

RESUMO

Objective To investigate the difference of late-phase of limb ischemia preconditioning (L-LIP) verse early-phase (E-LIP) on patients with percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI).Methods A total of 160 patients with unstable angina pectoris who were planned to undergo PCI were divided equally into two groups at random. The late-phase of limb ischemia preconditioning group (80 patients) were provided with L-LIP (three 5-minute inflations up to 200mmHg by applying the sphygmomanometer cuff around the right upper arm, followed by 5-min intervals of reperfusion, twice a day) 3 days before PCI.The Earlyphase of limb ischemia preconditioning group (80 patients) were provided with E-LIP (method as above)2 hours before PCI.Comparison of procedural parameters during PCI and the levels of cTnT,CK-MB,hs-CRP were made 24 hours after PCI.Estimation of the rate of adverse events at 1 year between the two groups was evaluated by Kaplan-Meier analysis. Results Compared to the E-LIP group, the rates of angina, arrhythmia and TIMI flow ≤ 2 during PCI were significantly lower in the L-LIP group (all P < 0.05).At 24 hours after PCI,the levels of cTnT and CK-MB were declined more significantly in the L-LIP group[(11.52±2.41) pg/ml vs.(27.53±4.78)pg/ml,P =0.021;(14.11±2.87)Iu/L vs.(30.23±5.17)Iu/L,P =0.032].There was no difference in the level of hs-CRP between the 2 groups [(128±0.71)mg/dl vs.(1.33±0.69)mg/dl,P =0.742].The Kaplan-Meier survival curve showed that the incidence rate of adverse events in the L-LIP group at l year was lower than the E-LIP group (3.75% vs.13.75%,P =0.024).Conclusions L-LIP is more effective to in protecting myocardial cell in patients with unstable angina pectoris undergoing elective PCI and may reduce the rate of future adverse event.
