RESUMO

Objective:To investigate the clinical significance of coagulation function related indicators in the prognosis of non-small cell lung cancer.Methods:The clinical data of 248 patients with non-small cell lung cancer from June 2014 to December 2017 in the Department of Oncology, Beijing Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Capital Medical University, were retrospectively analyzed. The receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve was used to determine the best cutoff values of prognostic indicators,the Cox regression model was used for multivariate analysis, and the Kaplan-Meier method was used for survival analysis.Results:ROC curve analysis showed that the best cutoff values for D-dimer (D-D), fibrinogen (FIB) and prothrombin time (PT)were 0.18 mg/L, 4.25 g/L and 12.0 s, respectively. Cox multivariate regression analysis showed that increased expression of D-D ( HR=1.197, 95% CI 1.100-1.303), PT ( HR=1.111, 95% CI 1.049-1.176) and FIB ( HR=1.510, 95% CI 1.276-1.788) were risk factors for the prognosis of non-small cell lung cancer ( P<0.001). Kaplan-Meier survival analysis results showed that the overall survival in the high expression group of D-D, FIB and PT was shorter than in of the low expression group ( P<0.001). Conclusion:D-D, PT and FIB are independent factors affecting the prognosis of non-small cell lung cancer.

RESUMO

Incidence of acute closed Achilles tendon rupture is high in clinic. Accurate diagnosis of this injury depends on a combination of physical signs and imaging examinations. Although conservative and surgical interventions are common for acute closed Achilles tendon rupture, its optimal treatment remains controversial. This literature review focuses on the research progress concerning this injury so as to analyze its risk factors, diagnostic methods, treatments, early functional rehabilitation, postoperative complications and prognosis evaluation.

Objective To evaluate the feasibility of quantitative evaluation of fallopian tubes patency by the rising slope of pressure curve produced by bolus injection using a liquid diagnostic apparatus in the four-dimen-sional hysterosalpingo-contrast sonography. Methods A total of 205 patients with infertility were collected for four-dimensional hysterosalpingo-contrast sonography. In the examination,the contrast medium concentration,the liquid volume of the liquid diagnostic apparatus and the speed of the liquid were stationary calculated. The rising slope of the curve was calculated according to the real-time pressure curve produced by the contrast agent injection process. According to the hysterosalpingo-contrast sonography examination's results ,patients were divided into one side patency group,one side partial obstruction group and one side obstruction group. The correlation between the slope and the patency of the fallopian tube was analyzed by binary logistic regression. Results Binary logistic regression showed that the slope and fallopian tube patency had good correlation(all P < 0.05)between one side patency group and one side obstruction group,and also between one side partial obstruction group and one side obstruction group;but had no correlation between one side patency group and one side partial obstruction group(regression coefficient P>0.05,regression constant P=0.000). Conclusion The slope of pressure curve produced by four-dimensional hysterosalpingo-contrast sonography can be used to assess the patency of fallopian tubes quantitatively. It is a new auxiliary index for evaluating the patency of fallopian tubes.

Objective To explore the value of transvaginal three-dimensional power Doppler ultrasound in evaluation of endometrial receptivity in patients with intrauterine adhesions.Methods Totally 43 patients with intrauterine adhesions confirmed by hysteroscopy were enrolled in this study.According to the hysteroscopy,the patients were divided into mild adhesion group (n=17),moderate adhesion group (n=18) and severe adhesion group (n=8).All the patients were examined with transvaginal three-dimensional power Doppler ultrasonography on the day of ovulation.Endometrial thickness (ED),endometrial volume (EV),endometrial vascular index (VI),endometrial flow index (FI) and endometrial vascular flow index (VFI) were compared among three groups.Results There was significant difference in EV among three groups (P<0.001).ED,VI and VFI were significantly different between the mild and severe adhesion groups,as well as between moderate and severe adhesion groups (all P<0.05).Conclusion Transvaginal three-dimensional power Doppler ultrasound provides a safe and noninvasive approach to assess endometrial receptivity of patients with intrauterine adhesions.EV has good predictive value on endometrial receptivity.

<p><b>OBJECTIVE</b>To investigate the effect of aloin on apoptosis of human gastric cancer cells and explore the molecular mechanism.</p><p><b>METHODS</b>Gastric cancer MKN-28 and HGC-27 cells were cultured routinely in 1640 medium supplemented with 10% fetal bovine serum and 10% non-essential amino acids (for HGC-27 cells) and treated with different concentrations of aloin for different durations. The cell viability, cell nuclear morphology, and apoptotic rate of the cells were detected using CCK-8 assay, DAPI staining and AnnexinV-FITC/PI, respectively; Western blotting was used to detect the expression levels of PARP, procaspase 3 and the phosphorylation of p38, ERK and JNK. The cells were treated with specific inhibitors of p38, ERK and JNK, and the inhibitory effects on these pathways were detected with Western blotting; DAPI staining was used to detect the effects of inhibitors on apoptosis of gastric cancer cells.</p><p><b>RESULTS</b>Aloin dose-dependently inhibited the viability and induced apoptosis of HGC-27 and MKN-28 cells. Alion treatment obvious enhanced the phosphorylation of p38 and JNK but decreased ERK phosphorylation in the cells. Blocking ERK activation with the ERK inhibitor obviously enhanced aloin-induced cell apoptosis, where inhibiting p38 and JNK activation partly reversed alion-induced apoptosis in the cells.</p><p><b>CONCLUSIONS</b>Aloin induces apoptosis of human gastric cancer cells by activating p38 and JNK signaling pathways and inhibiting ERK signaling pathway.</p>

Objective To evaluate the feasibility of CEUS in Crohn discasc (CD) activity.Methods Thirty-nine patients with CD were analyzed.The clinical disease activity index of 18 cases were less than 150 (inactivity),and 21 cases were between 150 and 450 (activity).The thickness of intestinal walls were measured and Limberg classification were determined by power-Doppler results.The CEUS was performed,and the parameters including rise time,peak intensity,mean transit time,time from peak to one half,wash in slope and time to peak were statistical analyzed.Results The thickness of the lesions,peak intensity and wash in slope of activity CD were greater than those of inactivity CD,which had significant difference (all P<0.05).The Limberg classification of type Ⅰ was 1 case,type Ⅱ was 4 cases,type Ⅲ was 10 cases and type Ⅳ was 6 cases in activity CD.The Limberg classification of type Ⅰ was 10 cases,type Ⅱ was 7 cases and type Ⅲ was 1 case.The Limberg classification were mainly type Ⅲ and type Ⅳ in activity CD,and type Ⅰ and type Ⅱ in inactivity CD,which had significant difference (P<0.001).Conclusion CEUS can provide quantitative parameters in CD activity and has great clinical value.

RESUMO

OBJECTIVE:To evaluate therapeutic efficacy and safety of ubenimex combined with chemotherapy in the treatment of malignant tumor,and to provide evidence-based reference in clinic.METHODS:Retrieved from Central,PubMed,CJFD,VIP and Wanfang database,randomized controlled trials (RCTs) about ubenimex combined with chemotherapy (trial group) vs.single chemotherapy (control group) in the treatment of malignant tumor were collected.The quality of studies were evaluated by bias risk evaluation criteria of Cochrane system evaluator manual 5.1.0 after screening literatures and extracting data.Meta-analysis was performed by using Rev Man 5.3 statistical software.RESULTS:A total of 12 RCTs were included,involving 762 patients.The resuits of Meta-analysis showed that:shorter-term response rate [RR=1.24,95 % CI (1.08,1.43),P=0.002] and the improvement rate of life quality Karnofsky score [RR=1.69,95% CI(1.46,1.95),P<0.001] in trial group were significantly higher than control group;the incidence of gastrointestinal toxicity [RR=0.74,95%CI(0.57,0.94),P=0.02] and leucocyte suppression rate[Ⅰ °-Ⅳ°(<3 months):RR=0.54,95%CI(0.37,0.79),P=0.002;Ⅲ°-Ⅳ°:RR=0.44,95%CI(0.29,0.68),P<0.001] were significantly lower than control group,with statistical significance.CONCLUSIONS:Ubenimex combined with chemotherapy can improve malignant tumor,shorter-term efficacy and life quality,and reduce gastrointestinal and marrow toxicity.

@#To investigate the effects of Mycobacterium tuberculosis heat shock protein 65(HSP65)on Treg/Th17 immune balance in ApoE-knockout(ApoE-/-)mice, ApoE-/- mice with a high-cholesterol diet were immunized with M. tuberculosis HSP65. Sera were obtained for measurement of anti-HSP65 antibodies by ELISA; the effect of administration of different antigens was investigated, respectively, using flow cytometry analysis on the number of CD4+CD25+Foxp3+Tregs and CD4+IL-17+ Th17; the production of cytokines(IL-10, TGF-β1, IL-17 and IL-21)by these cells were determined by ELISA; total plasma cholesterol(TC), triglyceride(TG), high-density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C)and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C)levels were detected by biochemical autoanalyzer. Atherosclerotic lesions were measured by lipid deposition stained with oil red O. The results demonstrated that the levels of anti-HSP65 IgG antibodies were increased significantly in Mycobacterium tuberculosis HSP65-treated ApoE-/- mice, revealed obvious decrease in Treg number, Treg related cytokines(IL-10, TGF-β1)levels and significant increase in Th17 number, Th17 related cytokines(IL-17 and IL-21)levels, the levels of TC, TG, HDL-C and LDL-C did not change between groups, while the atherosclerotic lesions significantly increased. Results indicate that M. tuberculosis HSP65 could interrupt the Th17/Treg immune balance in ApoE-/- mice, suggesting a potential role in the formation and progression of atherosclerosis.

<p><b>OBJECTIVE</b>To investigate the influence of ozonated water on physical and chemical properties of vacuum sealing drainage (VSD) materials.</p><p><b>METHODS</b>VSD materials (foam and sealing membrane) were immersed in 10 µg/ml ozonated water for 1 h twice daily for 8 days. The foam appearance and microscopic structure of the materials were observed, and tensile tests and Raman spectrum scan were performed assess the effect of ozonated water. Simulated VSD devices were prepared and tested for leakproofness under negative pressure after ozonated water treatment.</p><p><b>RESULTS</b>zonated water treatment for 8 days caused no obvious abnormal changes in the foam appearance or microscopic structure of the materials. The maximum tensile load of foam before and after ozonated water treatment was 4.25∓0.73 kgf and 2.44∓0.19 kgf (P=0.000), the momentary distance when the foam torn before and after intervention was 92.54∓12.83 mm and 64.44∓4.60 mm, respectively (P=0.000). The corresponding results for VSD sealing membrane were 0.70∓0.58 kgf and 0.71∓0.08 kgf (P=0.698), and 99.30∓10.27 mm and 100.95∓18.22 mm (P=0.966), respectively. Raman spectroscopy revealed changes in only several wave intensities and no new chemical groups appeared within the scan range of 400-4000 cm(-1). The VSD device was well hermetic after treatment with ozonated water.</p><p><b>CONCLUSION</b>Except for a decreased stretch resistance property of the foam, VSD materials display no obvious changes in physical and chemical characteristics after treatment with ozonated water for 8 days.</p>
