RESUMO

Described in this paper are the subject service in foreign and domestic colleges and universities and its problems in domestic academic libraries,and multivariate subject service provided in Library of Guangdong Pharmaceu-tical University for the teachers and students in Guangdong Pharmaceutical University by embedding it into the study and research process of students according to the contents and requirements of readers' reference service and the distribution of information,in order to provide reference for subject service in domestic college and university libraries.

RESUMO

The paper discusses the reasons for the slow development of evidence-based pharmacy in hospitals, analyzes the necessi-ty and feasibility of evidence-based pharmacy services in medical college and university libraries.It also elaborates how to construct ef-fective and feasible evidence-based pharmacy service mode according to the advantages and characteristics of medical college and uni-versity libraries.

RESUMO

OBJECTIVE To investigate the carrier state of lid margins after eyes area disinfection by 75% alcohol and 0.5% iodine and to compare the effect of different disinfectants,so we will know whether 0.5% iodine can be used for eyes area disinfection. METHODS Thirty eight patients(76 eyes) from our hospital in March-May 2005 were analyzed.The operated eyes area as control group were disinfected by 75% alcohol-the traditional disinfection method.The contralateral eyes area without operation as experimental group were disinfected by 0.5% iodine.Lid margins samples were obtained for culture after 3 minutes. RESUMO

OBJECTIVE To investigate the risk factors and prevent meaures of ophthalmic infection after operation. METHODS The factors associated with ophthalmic infection after operation were analyzed. The comprehensive and strict system of washing and sterilization of operative instruments were established. The usage of aseptic implantable articles was strictly managed. The management of operation environment,faculty,patients,and aseptic technique were further strengthened. The samples of the faculty were cultivated routinely and the fulfillment of institution was assured. RESULTS The procedure of peri-operation infection control was bettered. The awareness of infection prevention during ophthalmic operations was improved for the nurse faculty. A safe operation procedure was ascertained. The risk of ophthalmic operation infection was decreased. CONCLUSIONS Scientific and consummate management of ophthalmic operation and its proper fulfillment are key factors to prevent ophthalmic operation infection.
