RESUMO

Objective@#To analyze the duration and influencing factors of moderate and vigorous physical activity(MVPA) on weekends for primary school students in grades 4 to 6 in Beijing, and to provide a reference for formulating health education and promotion measures.@*Methods@#Multi stage stratified cluster sampling method was used to randomly select 2 515 students from grades 4-6 in 14 primary schools in Beijing, and a self administered questionnaire was used to record MVPA on weekend, social demographic characteristics, other related health behaviors and knowledge. Multivariate Logistic regression analysis was used to explore the influencing factors of MVPA on weekends.@*Results@#The prevalence of insufficient MVPA on weekends in Beijing was 63.54 %, and the prevalence was higher among girls (69.92%) than boys (57.81%) ( χ 2=39.65, P <0.01). Multiple Logistic regression analysis revealed that girls ( OR =1.74), living in rural areas ( OR =1.41), participants attending general schools ( OR = 1.34 ), from divorced family ( OR =1.46), and short sleep duration ( OR =1.50) were more likely to fail to meet the MVPA recommendations( P <0.05).@*Conclusion@#It is quite common that no sufficient weekend MVPA among senior primary school students, among them, the outer suburbs and schools with relatively weak teaching resources are the key places that need attention, and girls are the key groups that need attention.

RESUMO

Objective@#To analyze the delay of seeking medical treatment and associated factors among students with tuberculosis in Shaanxi Province from 2015 to 2019, so as to provide scientific evidence for the early detection and control of tuberculosis epidemics in schools.@*Methods@#Data from 6 739 students with pulmonary tuberculosis registered in Shaanxi Province from 2015 to 2019 were collected from the TB Management Information System of China Information System for Disease Control and Prevention. Univariate and multivariate Logistic regression analyses were used to analyze the characteristics and influencing factors of pulmonary tuberculosis patients.@*Results@#Among 6 739 cases of students with pulmonary tuberculosis from 2015 to 2019 in Shaanxi Province, 3 040 patients delayed seeking medical treatment. The rate of delayed treatment was as high as 45.1%, and the median delayed treatment time was 38(24, 68) days. From 2015 to 2019, the overall delay rate of students showed a downward trend, with a significant difference(χ 2=120.45, P<0.05). Univariate analysis showed that there were statistically significant differences in delay rate between different patient sources, diagnosis results and regions(χ 2=274.19, 26.75, 24.12, P<0.05), among which for factors such as tracing, tuberculosis pleurisy, doctor delay in the northern part of Shaanxi, the rates were higher. The results of multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that the regions of northern Shaanxi(OR=2.74), central Shaanxi(OR=2.09), and southern Shaanxi(OR=2.39), and clinical consultation(OR=1.84), recommendation(OR=2.81), tracing(OR=3.28), and tracing (OR=6.07) were risk factors for delay of consultation. A lack of etiology results(OR=0.47) was to protect delay of consultation.@*Conclusion@#From 2015 to 2019 in Shaanxi Province, a delay in seeking medical treatment was relatively common among students with tuberculosis. The region, source of patients and diagnosis results were factors that influenced the delay in finding tuberculosis patients in Shaanxi Province.

RESUMO

Objective@#To explore the prevalence and associated factors of non learning-based screen time of 4-6 grade school students in Beijing, and to provide a basic data for further research on hazard control measures such as myopia, overweight and obesity among children and adolescents in Beijing.@*Methods@#Multistage stratified random cluster sampling method was adopted. A total of 2 515 primary school students were randomly selected in from schools in Beijing, self-developed questionnaire was used to investigate on the time for each electronic products usage for non-learning purpose, the total of electronic products usage every day and other information.@*Results@#The rates of screen time >15 minutes each time and ≥1 h daily were 48.43%, 22.90%, respectively. Multiple Logistic regression analysis showed that ordinary school, 6 th grade, male, single-parent family and other types of family, and lack of moderate-to-vigorous physical activity at weekend were associated with the students’ non learning-based screen time (OR=1.66, 2.28, 1.27, 1.44, 1.87, 2.20, P<0.05).@*Conclusion@#The situation of excessive screen time of primary school students was improved in Beijing, but still be prevelent, male students of grade 4 should be given more attention, and more importance should be attached to the offect of family in children.

RESUMO

@#Relative/absolute adrenal insufficiency is not uncommmon in the patients undergoing cardiovascular surgery with cardiopulmonary bypass. However, this complication was rarely reported due to its unspecific clinical presentations and the unawareness of ICU physicians and cardiac surgeons. However, this puts them on a higher risk of hemodynamic instability and cardiovascular adverse events during hospitalization. Systematic reviews concentrated on it are rarely reported currently. We aim to review the etiology, risk factors, potential pathogenesis and related research progress for this complication.

RESUMO

@#Objective    To investigate the effect and mechanism of epigallocatechin-3-gallate (EGCG) on restenosis of the vein graft. Methods    Totally 90 Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided a the control group, a vein graft group and an EGCG+vein graft group. At week 1, 2 and 4, the intimal and tunica thickness of the venous graft wall was evaluated by hematoxylin-eosin staining, and the expression of Ki-67 was assessed by immunohistochemistry analysis, and then the expression of hairy and enhancer of split-1 (HES1) was measured by Western blot assay. Results    At week 2, the intimal thickness (46.76±4.89 μm vs. 8.93±0.82 μm, 46.76±4.89 μm vs. 34.24±3.57 μm), tunica thickness (47.28±4.37 vs. 16.33±1.52 μm, 47.28±4.37 vs. 36.27±3.29 μm), positive cell rate of Ki-67 (21.59%±2.29% vs. 1.12%±0.22%, 21.59%±2.29%vs. 15.38%±1.30%), expression of HES1 respectively increased in the experimental group than those in the control group and the EGCG+vein graft group (P<0.05, respectively). At week 4, the intimal thickness (66.38±6.23 μm vs. 8.29±0.79 μm,   66.38±6.23 μm vs. 48.39±4.23 μm), tunica thickness (63.27±6.18 μm vs. 15.29±1.49 μm, 63.27±6.18 μm vs. 44.63±4.49 μm), positive cell rate of Ki-67 (33.19%±3.03% vs. 1.09%±0.19%, 33.19%±3.03% vs. 24.37%±2.73%), expression of HES1 increased in the experimental group than those in the control group and EGCG+vein graft group (P<0.05, respectively). Conclusion    EGCG may inhibite restenosis of vein graft by inhibiting Notch signal pathway.
