RESUMO

In general, all diabetic patients experience a hypoglycemic reaction during the course of their disease. Although nocturnal hypoglycemia is usually asymptomatic, recent studies show that recurrent severe hypoglycemia has a permanent, long lasting effect on the central nervous system. In this report, we present the hypoglycemic symptoms in a 5-year-old diabetic girl and its effect on the CNS
