Objective To observe the effect of extracts from Flos Lonicerae inhibiting influenza A virus FM1 strain. Method Use the method of hemagglutination test, determine the hemagglutination inhibition titer that extracts from Flos Lonicerae inhibiting influenza A virus in vitro and in embryonated egg. Result Compared with the control group, the hemagglutination inhibition titer of extracts from Flos Lonicerae group were degraded. The depressant effect kept on from 1 hour to 24 hour, and the depressant effect were degraded with the stepping down of the concentration.
