RESUMO

Objective@#To analyze the relationships between the exposure of occupational noise and the occurrence of noise-induced high frequency hearing loss in automobile manufacturing industry.@*Methods@#From June to November 2017, 1579 male workers were selected for exposure to noise hazards in the automobile manufacturing industry in Guangzhou for more than one year (including one year) using the convenient sampling method. According to the hearing test results, 276 people in the high frequency hearing loss group and 1303 in the normal hearing group were surveyed, occupational health tests were conducted, and the noise intensity in the workplace was measured. The cumulative noise exposure (CNE) was calculated. The relationship between shift work and high frequency hearing loss of noise work is analyzed.@*Results@#Compared with the normal hearing group, the noise exposure intensity, age, length of service, marital status, working system, and physical exercise of the high frequency hearing loss group were statistically significant (P<0.05). Through logistic regression analysis, after correcting the effects of organic solvent contact, marital status, and physical exercise, CNE, age, and shift operations (double-shift operations, three-shift operations) are the risk factors for high frequency hearing loss to occur.@*Conclusion@#The risk of hearing loss of workers exposed to noise in the whole vehicle manufacturing industry may be related to CNE, age, and shift work. Two-shift and three-shift work are possible risk factors for noise-induced high frequency hearing loss.

RESUMO

Objective@#To study the hearing status and analyze the related influencing factors in noise-exposed workers in an automobile manufacture enterprise, and put forward suggestions for prevention of noise-induced hearing loss.@*Methods@#Noise exposure level testing, audiometry testing and questionnaires were performed for noise exposed workers in the automobile manufacture enterprise. To analyze the relationship between different factors and noise-induced hearing loss by cumulative noise exposure(CNE) calculated 8-hour continuous A-weighted equivalent noise level and seniority.@*Results@#The detection rate of hearing loss in noise-exposed workers was 22.8%. The noise exposure intensity of stamping workshop is higher than other workshop, and the hearing loss detection rate of stamping workshop workers is higher than other workshop workers. The detection rate of hearing loss has significant difference in LAeq·8 h, seniority, CNE, age, high temperature and wearing earplugs (P<0.05). The results of logistic regression analysis showed that CNE, age and high-temperature were risk factors for noise-induced hearing loss (P<0.05 and OR>1) and there was an increasing tendency of hearing loss with increase in length of service and CNE, while using of earplugs was a protective factor (P<0.05 and OR<1). With the increase of CNE, the incidence of hearing loss is the rising trend.@*Conclusion@#It is suggested to strengthen the noise control and individual protection and improve the high-temperature working environment, which plays an important role in reducing the occurrence of noise-induced hearing loss.

RESUMO

OBJECTIVE: To analyze the relationship between the cumulative noise exposure( CNE) and prevalence of hypertension in automotive manufacturing workers. METHODS: A total of 1 535 noise-exposed male workers with length of service ≥ 1. 0 year from automobile manufacturing industries in Guangzhou City was chosen as study subjects by convenience sampling method. The noise intensity in the workplace was measured, the CNE calculated, and the occupational health examination conducted. RESULTS: The prevalence of hypertension of the study subjects was 8. 1%( 125/1 535). The prevalence of hypertension showed an upward trend with the increase of CNE( P < 0. 01). The multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that the prevalence risk of hypertension increased with the increase of CNE after adjusting for confounding factors such as body mass index, smoking and wearing personal protective equipment in automobile manufacturing workers( P < 0. 01). CONCLUSION: There is a dose-effect relationship between prevalence of hypertension and CNE in automobile manufacturing workers who exposed to noise.

RESUMO

OBJECTIVE:To explore the effects and safety of Hedan tablets on the levels of blood lipid, inflammatory factors and oxidative stress in coronary heart disease(CHD)patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus(DM2). METHODS:A total of 118 pa-tients diagnosed as CHD with DM2 were collected from our hospital during Jul. 2013-Nov. 2015,and then divided into observation group(63 cases)and control group(55 cases)according to random number table. Control group received conventional treatment such as controlling blood glucose, regulating blood lipid, vasodilator, anticoagulant. Observation group additionally received He-dan tablets 1.46 g before meal, tid,on the basis of control group. Both groups received treatment for 6 months. The levels of blood lipid (TC,TG,LDL-C,HDL-C),serum inflammatory factors (TNF-α ,IL-10,IL-6,hs-CRP) and oxidative stress indexes (MDA,SOD,NO)before and after treatment as well as the occurrence of ADR were compared in 2 groups. RESULTS:Before treatment, there was no statistical significance in levels of blood lipid, serum inflammatory factors or oxidative stress indexes be-tween 2 groups(P>0.05). After treatment, the serum levels of TC,TG,LDL-C,TNF-α,IL-6,hs-CRP and MDA in 2 groups were decreased significantly, while those of IL-10,SOD and NO were increased significantly;the observation group was signifi-cantly better than the control group, with statistical significance(P0.05). CONCLUSIONS:Hedan tablets can effectively improve the level of blood lipid, reduce the lev-el of inflammatory factors, relieve inflammatory injury, reduce the level of oxygen free radical, strengthen antioxidant capacity and lighten oxidative stress injury with good safety.

RESUMO

OBJECTIVE: To explore the relationship between noise-induced hearing loss, hypertension and abnormal electrocardiogram(ECG) in noise-exposed workers. METHODS: A judgment sampling method was adopted to select 555 male workers with hearing loss as study group and 555 male workers with normal hearing as control group in the similar environment in an automobile manufacturing enterprise in Guangzhou. Pure tone audiometry, blood pressure measurement and ECG examination were performed in both groups to analyze the relationship between hearing loss and hypertension and abnormal ECG. RESULTS: The prevalence rate of hypertension and abnormal ECG was higher in the hearing loss group than the control group(P < 0. 05). The multiple logistic regression analysis showed that after adjusting confounding factors such as age, seniority, body mass index, drinking et al,the risk of hypertension in hearing loss group was higher than the control group(P < 0. 05) and the odds ratio(OR) was 2. 255 [95% confidence interval(CI) : 1. 093-4. 655 ],while adjusting the confounding factor of drinking, the risk of ECG abnormalities in hearing loss group was higher than the control group(P < 0. 05) and the OR was 1. 408(95% CI: 1. 027-1. 930). CONCLUSION: Workers exposed to noise with hearing loss increase the risk of hypertension and abnormal ECG.

RESUMO

Objective To investigate the occupational exposures to skin injuries among undergraduate nursing students and analyze the causes,so as to provide advices for the standardized pre-service education of occupational protection. Methods To survey 260 students by simple sampling method using self-made questionnaire retrospectively at the end of the internship. The factors influencing skin injuries were analyzed. Results A total of 238 effective questionnaires were obtained. There were 96.64% (230/238) practice students suffered skin injuries, the incidence rate was higher at the initial phase. The injuries-risk factors were using hollow needles and glass ampoule, dispensing and back to the set of the needle cap.The preventive measures which the students executed were squeezing out blood, washing with flowing water and sterilizing with iodine and alcohol.Only 58.47% (473/809) students checked the reports of patients. Most of them were lack of the preventive awareness. Conclusions This study demonstrated that skin injuries occurred frequently among undergraduate nursing students of bachelor degree and their knowledge level about precautions was low.The standard education of pre-service occupational prevention, the occupational exposure post-processing and the reporting system were very necessary.
