RESUMO

Alzheimer's disease (AD) is a progressive and irreversible neurodegenerative disease. Neuroimaging based on magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is one of the most intuitive and reliable methods to perform AD screening and diagnosis. Clinical head MRI detection generates multimodal image data, and to solve the problem of multimodal MRI processing and information fusion, this paper proposes a structural and functional MRI feature extraction and fusion method based on generalized convolutional neural networks (gCNN). The method includes a three-dimensional residual U-shaped network based on hybrid attention mechanism (3D HA-ResUNet) for feature representation and classification for structural MRI, and a U-shaped graph convolutional neural network (U-GCN) for node feature representation and classification of brain functional networks for functional MRI. Based on the fusion of the two types of image features, the optimal feature subset is selected based on discrete binary particle swarm optimization, and the prediction results are output by a machine learning classifier. The validation results of multimodal dataset from the AD Neuroimaging Initiative (ADNI) open-source database show that the proposed models have superior performance in their respective data domains. The gCNN framework combines the advantages of these two models and further improves the performance of the methods using single-modal MRI, improving the classification accuracy and sensitivity by 5.56% and 11.11%, respectively. In conclusion, the gCNN-based multimodal MRI classification method proposed in this paper can provide a technical basis for the auxiliary diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease.

RESUMO

Objective@#To determine the current prevalence of health risk behaviors among college students in Henan Province, and to conduct an in depth analysis of the impact of cumulative ecological risks on health risk behaviors, so as to provide scientific basis for promoting healthy development of adolescents.@*Methods@#Using a multi stage stratified cluster sampling method, 9 743 college students from six universities in Henan Province were included as the research subjects from April to June 2023. A questionnaire survey was conducted using the College Student Cumulative Ecological Risk Scale and the China Urban Adolescent Health Related Behavior Survey Questionnaire (University Version). Data were analyzed by descriptive statistical analysis, Chi square test and binary Logistic regression.@*Results@#The reporting rates of unhealthy eating behavior, unhealthy weight loss behaviors, lack of physical activity, daily risk behaviors, negative emotions, current smoking behavior current drinking behaviors, Internet addiction emotions and dangerous sexual behaviors among college students in Henan Province were 40.2%, 39.5%, 76.0%, 13.7%, 28.1%, 11.3%, 12.7%, 5.9% and 2.2%, respectively. The reporting rates of negative emotions, current smoking behaviors, current drinking behaviors, dangerous sexual behaviors and daily risk behaviors of college students were higher in boys than in girls ( χ 2=44.00, 995.20, 902.49, 121.95, 103.09, P <0.05). In terms of reporting rates of unhealthy diet, unhealthy weight loss and lack of exercise behavior, girls were higher than boys ( χ 2=107.59, 13.01, 145.83, P <0.05). Cumulative ecological risk was positively correlated with overall health risk behaviors. For every unit increase in the cumulative ecological risk index, the risk of health risk behaviors among college students increased by 48%.@*Conclusions@#The prevalence of health risk behaviors among college students is relatively common. It should adrocate for a healthy lifestyle, reduce the cumulative ecological risk and the occurrence of health risk behaviors to promote the healthy development of adolescents.

RESUMO

Objective@#To clarify the importance and practical significance of the standardized rate in primary healthcare work by comparing the differences in the prevalence of myopia in districts in Beijing before and after standardization.@*Methods@#This study recruited a total of 41 029 students from 107 primary and secondary schools and 35 kindergartens from the 16 districts of Beijing municipality. All participants underwent distance vision and refractive testing. The presence of myopia was defined as naked eye vision of <5.0 and non-ciliary muscle paralysis under computer optometry with a spherical equivalent objective refractive error of <-0.50 diopters (<-0.50 D). The student composition outlined in the 2018-2019 Beijing Education Development Statistics Summary was used as a standard group to standardize the prevalence of myopia in students from various districts of Beijing. The difference in the pre-and post-standardization rates was used to compare the change in myopia in each district before and after standardization.@*Results@#In 2018, the prevalence of myopia in students from Beijing was 57.3%. Stratified by school period, the prevalence of myopia in preschool, primary school, junior high school, ordinary high school, and vocational high school students was 12.1%, 38.4%, 77.2%, 88.3%, and 73.1%, respectively. Although the prevalence of myopia in Daxing District was the highest both before and after standardization, the difference in the prevalence rate was 13.8 percentage points. The prevalence of myopia in Miyun District was the lowest before standardization. However, after standardization, the prevalence of myopia was lowest in Huairou District.@*Conclusion@#The prevalence of myopia among Beijing students is generally high. Before and after standardization, the prevalence of myopia in different districts was quite different. The results show that, in practice, the standardized prevalence can reveal the true epidemiological characteristics of specific disease.

RESUMO

Objective: To evaluate the clinical effect of transpedical interbody bone grafting in the treatment of i senile osteoporotic vertebral fracture

Methods: Eighty-six elders with osteoporotic vertebral fracture were selected and divided into a control group and a test group using random double-blind method. Patients in the control group were treated by short-segment transpedicular screw system internal fixation, while patients in the test group were treated by short-segment transpedicular screw system internal fixation in combination with transpedical interbody bone grafting. Operation related indexes and fracture recovery condition were compared between the two groups

Results: The overall effective rate of the test group was 93.02%, much higher than the control group [76.74%] [P<0.05]. The difference of operation duration, intraoperative bleeding volume, length of hospital | stay, fracture healing time, preoperative vertebral height loss and preoperative Cobb's angle between! the two groups had no statistical significance [P>0.05]. The postoperative pain score of the test group | was lower than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant [P<0.05]. The; vertebral height loss and Cobb's angle of the test group were superior to those of the control group at the last follow up, and the difference had statistical significance [P<0.05]. The incidence of internal fixator loosening of the test group was much lower than that of the control group [P<0.05]

Conclusion: Short-segment transpedicular screw system internal fixation in combination with transpedical interbody bone grafting shows favorable effects in the treatment senile osteoporotic vertebral fracture, resulting in mild pain and less loss of vertebral height and angle; hence it is worth promotion in clinic

RESUMO

Homeobox gene is an important gene family of developmental regulatory in the body.It is highly conserved in the evolutionary process. It is widely found in nervous, digestive, respiratory, circulatory, blood and genitourinary system, involved in rcgulating the growth and development of individuals, cells' proliferation, differentiation, apoptosis and other processes. The present studies show that the abnormal expressions of homeobox genes are closely related to the occurrence, development and prognosis of human multiple malignancies. In this paper, the research progress and prospect of the relationship between homeobox genes' family and development of digestive system tumors are reviewed.
