RESUMO

Abstract On the increasing prevalence of using mAbs (monoclonal antibodies) in cancer therapy and the severe risk of hyperglycemia, we aimed to analyze the main clinical ADRs of mAbs, with a focus on adverse hyperglycemic events associated with currently clinically used mAbs. mAbs as well as target information were selected from Martinadale book and published articles. Drug approving information was collected from each government website, and ADR statistic data were collected from VigibaseR, comparing with Adverse Event Reporting System of US FDA. Top 10 mAbs were classified within listing in total ADR records, ADRs per year, hyperglycemic ADR records. Vigibase data were updated onto 15 Feb 2019. 20 mAbs were analyzed with 263217 ADR reports, wherein 16751 records on Metabolism and nutrition disorders and 1444 records on Glucose metabolism disorders. The geographic, age, gender distributions and annual ADR report numbers were listed respectively. Of the top 10, Rituximab, Bevacizumab and Nivolumab were on the top 3 in total ADR record and hyperglycemic record. Top 3 record results were similar in Vigibase and FDA database. It is of increasing importance for clinicians to be aware of early detection, patient management, or drug selection strategies when using mAbs, particularly within the high glycemic risk-reported mAbs, to improve the efficacy and tolerability of mAbs regiment and optimize patient outcomes.

RESUMO

Objective@#To understand HIV/AIDS knowledge, attitude, and awareness of HIV/AIDS policies and regulations among vocational medical students in Sichuan, and to provide scientific basis for AIDS prevention and treatment in higher vocational medical colleges.@*Methods@#A total of 1 458 medical students in a vocational college in Sichuan Province were selected through stratified cluster random sampling and investigated with questionnaire on HIV/AIDS related knowledge, policies and regulations.@*Results@#The average score of AIDS knowledge was(6.63±1.31), and the awareness rate was 82.9%; The average score of attitude towards AIDS was(2.17±0.45), with the highest score being fear and avoidance(2.56±0.61), and the lowest score responsibility perception(1.66±0.58); The total score of HIV/AIDS related policies and regulations was(19.17±2.91). AIDS knowledge was positively correlated with attitude and understanding of policies and regulations(r=-0.24, 0.28, P<0.01) , the higher the knowledge score, the better the attitude and the higher the understanding of policies and regulations.@*Conclusion@#HIV/AIDS knowledge of higher vocational medical students has been improved, the fear and avoidance of AIDS is widespread. There are insufficient awareness in AIDS related policies and regulations. Higher vocational medical colleges should be more targeted AIDS health education.

RESUMO

Objective@#To understand the behavioral characteristics of Chinese college students who have sex with men, and to provide a basis for more targeted health education.@*Methods@#A systematic search of studies related to the high-risk behaviors of MSM of Chinese college students published from January 1, 2015 to November 1, 2018 in the Chinese Journal Full-text database (CNKI), China Biology Medicine database(CBM), PubMed, VIP and Wanfang database was conducted, and relevant data was extracted for Meta-analysis.@*Results@#A total of 12 studies were included, there were 3 839 MSM of college students enrolled in theses study, the results showed that the overall or pooled prevalence of HIV in MSM of college students was 79.1%(95%CI=73.1%-85.0%) in recent years; the combined rate of the number of sexual partners≥2 was 58.9%(95%CI=46.5%-71.3%); the combined rate of condom use for gay sex in the last 6 months was45.3%(95%CI=37.9%-52.7%); the combined rate of condom use for per heterosexual sex was 43.6%(95%CI=29.6%-57.5%); the combined detection rate of HIV was 4.7%(95%CI=2.7%-6.8%).@*Conclusion@#The high-risk behavior of MSM among Chinese college students is prominent, and online dating is highly dependent. Therefore, colleges should strengthen the health education of prevention of AIDS.

RESUMO

·AIM: To study the clinical effect of Conbercept and Ranibizumab for macular edema ( ME ) with meta -analysis.·METHODS:We searched Pubmed, EMBASE, Cochrane Library Central Register of Controlled Trials ( CENTRAL) , Google scholar, ClinicalTrials. gov, CNKI, VIP and wanfang database for studies which published between January 12012 and July 12017, on the comparison of conbercept with ranibizumab for the clinical effect of secondary macular edema. The primary endpoints were visual acuity ( VA ) and central macular thickness in this study to assess the efficiency of the drugs. Review Manager 5. 3 and Stata 12. 0 were used for data analysis with the pooled odds ratios (OR), mean difference and 95% confidence interval ( CI) .·RESULTS: Eleven RCTs involving 812 patients met inclusion criteria and included in this meta-analysis, including 414 eyes in conbercept group and 398 eyes in ranibizumab group. Macular edema in this study were secondary to age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy and retinal vein occlusion. No significant differences in improvement of vision acuity(P=0. 09) or reduction of CMT (P>0. 05) were noted at the end of 3mo between two groups. Compared to ranibizumab, conbercept showed a better effectiveness in macular edema alleviation in the end of 6mo in the present study (OR=-58. 50, 95%CI: -108. 04 to -8. 95;P=0. 02).· CONCLUSION: Despite evidence from the meta -analysis of the RCTs suggesting a strong difference of the effectiveness for macular edema between conbercept and ranibizumab, more clinical trials are still needed to confirm our results because of the heterogeneity in the collected data.
