Obstacles and Ethical Countermeasures of Implementing "Treatment after Discovery"for AIDS in Yunnan Province / 中国医学伦理学

"Treatment after discovery" is the most effective way to prevent and treat AIDS by far.Although Yunnan Province has made remarkable achievements in the three wars of AIDS prevention and control,it faced realistic obstacles of slow updating of knowledge,shortage of full-time medical staff,unstable team and poor trans-provincial treatment system in the implementation of "treatment after discovery".This paper analyzed these obstacles from the perspective of bioethics,reflected the ideological roots of the unfulfilment to the HIV / AIDS population's dignity identify and human rights protection,and further put forward countermeasures and suggestions.

Laws on sex work and HIV/AIDS prevention and treatment:an international perspective / 中国艾滋病性病

Objective To explore a legal system which helps to provide effective HIV prevention and treatment for commercial sex workers.Method A method of literature review was adopted to analyse the major international literature on the interaction between sex work law and HIV prevention and treatment.Results In an international perspective,there are generally three types of legal frameworks of sex work:prohibitive law,law of regulating sex work through licensing,and decriminalization of sex work.In terms of public health,the prohibitive law drives sex workers to the underground state,hindering HIV/AIDS prevetion and treatment;the law of regulating sex work through licensing is unable to deal with the health problems of the unlicensed sex workers;decriminalization of sex work can not only avoid driving sex workers to the underground state,but can also advance HIV/AIDS prevention and treatment by providing integrated health service and behavioural interventions.Conclusion Among the three legal approaches to sex work,decriminalization of sex work provides the most enabling legal framework for HIV prevention and treatment in sex work community.

We have conducted a tireless practice and exploration in order to establish a solid,long-term and appropriate social practice basement for medical students,which is the platform for them carrying on social practice activities.Practice has proved that early preparation for basement construction is the basis,support from local government is the key,leaders' attention 、abundant fund and multi-sectional coordination are the guarantee,and that diverse forms as well as effective social practice activities is the fundamental way to promote basement construction.
