RESUMO

Background By analyzing the publication of scientific and technological papers of the provincial centers for disease control and prevention (CDCs) in China, we can understand their scientific research strength, dominant disciplines, research hotspots, and talent development, which is conducive for further optimizing the scientific research construction of the disease control system. Objective To conduct a bibliometric analysis and draw a visual map of the Chinese Science Citation Database (CSCD) sourced papers published by 31 provincial CDCs in China from 2011 to 2020, to understand the scientific research status of China's provincial CDC system in the past ten years. Methods In April 2021, China National Knowledge Infrastructure was used to retrieve CSCD sourced papers published by 31 provincial CDCs (excluding Taiwan Province, Hong Kong and Macau Special Administrative Regions) in China as the primary unit from 2011 to 2020, and finally 5231 CSCD papers were included. Bibliometric analysis indicators include number of CSCD papers published and financial support rate, proportion of CSCD papers to total Chinese papers, distribution of CSCD papers published in high-volume journals, and number of papers for a specific CDC that their first authors affiliated with. Citespace 5.8.R1 software was used to draw author's cooperation network map, keyword co-occurrence map, keyword clustering information table, and keyword emergence map. Results The number of CSCD papers published every year showed a stationary trend, and the total funding rate was 61%, showing an year-by-year upward trend (increased from 49.3% in 2011 to 68.7% in 2020). Jiangsu Province, Fujian Province, and Beijing CDCs ranked the top three in the total number of CSCD papers contributed by a specific CDC. The Chinese Journal of Epidemiology, Chinese Journal of Public Health, Chinese Journal of Zoonoses, Chinese Journal of Preventive Medicine, and Chinese Journal of Endemic Diseases were the top five high-volume journals. The top three authors of CSCD papers (counted as co-authors) were Xu Bianli of Henan Provincial Center for Disease Control and Prevention (110 papers), Yan Yansheng of Fujian Provincial Center for Disease Control and Prevention (72 papers), and Wang Quanyi of Beijing Center for Disease Prevention and Control (71 papers), and they studied the epidemiology of parasitic diseases and infectious diseases, the prevention and treatment of natural epidemic diseases and AIDS, and the epidemiology of infectious diseases, respectively. The keyword co-occurrence map showed that AIDS, zoonotic diseases, hand-foot-mouth disease, etc. (frequency ≥90) were the key research directions of provincial CDCs in the past ten years. The keyword clustering categories were closely related, although there were subtle differences, the topics focused on virus and chronic disease research. The keyword emergence results suggested that the frontiers of research had gradually shifted from infectious diseases such as enterovirus, hantavirus, and Zika virus to food-borne diseases and chronic non-communicable diseases such as tumors and senile diseases over time. Conclusion The number of papers issued by the provincial CDCs in China in the past ten years has shown an overall steady and rising trend. The leading themes of researchers and institutions are infectious diseases, parasitic diseases, etc., while food-borne diseases and elderly diseases are the hot frontiers.

RESUMO

OBJECTIVE@#To evaluate the methodological quality and reporting quality of Meta-analysis literature published by acupuncture journals included in Chinese Science Citation Database (CSCD), and to provide references and demonstration for relevant studies.@*METHODS@#The Meta-analysis literature published before December 2017 in , , and was retrieved by computer. AMSTAR was used for methodology quality evaluation, and PRISMA was used for reporting quality evaluation.@*RESULTS@#A total of 69 literature was included. Among them, the co-authorship rate was 100% and the cooperation degree was 5.45. The first authors came from 32 institutions, and 29 literature (42.0%) was funded. The cited rate was 98.6%, and averagely each paper was cited 16.3 times. The mean score of methodology quality evaluation was (7.78±1.14) points, including 14 high-quality literature (20.3%), 50 moderate-quality literature (72.5%) and 5 low-quality literature (7.2%). The average score of reporting quality evaluation was (20.33±2.36) points, including 24 relatively complete literature (34.8%), 41 literature with certain defects (59.4%) and 4 literature with serious defects (5.8%).@*CONCLUSION@#The Meta-analysis reports published by acupuncture journals in CSCD have relatively high methodological quality and reporting quality, which could provide evidence for clinical decision making, but still the quality level needed to be further enhanced according to the writing standard of Meta-analysis report. At the same time, the overall level of experimental research should be constantly improved to promote the development of evidence-based research on acupuncture and promote the formation of high-quality evidence.

RESUMO

Objective To know the TCM discipline development situation through analysis on TCM articles based on Chinese Science Citation Database (CSCD) in recent years. Methods Articles about TCM in CSCD from January 2010 to December 2015 were searched by computers. The CSCD literature analysis system was used to conduct metrological analysis from the aspects of publishing time, source journals, cited information, authors, publishing organizations, research themes, and fund support. Results The number of articles published on CSCD was increasing year by year from January 2010 to December 2015. 85.09% of articles focused on the field of general medicine. There were more than 100 CSCD journals included in TCM professional articles. 17 journals published more than 100 TCM professional articles. WANG Yong-yan academician was the author who published the most articles (121 papers). Academic output H index of six authors was more than 5. 31.52% articles in CSCD were cited. Natural Science Foundation of China (including general and youth projects) funded the highest number of articles (12.2%), reaching 1716 articles. Conclusion Analysis on articles from CSCD can outline the development situation of TCM discipline in China. In recent years, the number of TCM articles is increasing; subject integration is good; high-level teams are forming gradually; TCM discipline is developing fast. However, the citation frequency is low; scholar H index is not high; the overall level remains to be improved.

RESUMO

After an overall introduction of the novel functions of the CMCI institutional knowledge version developed by Medical Library of Chinese PLA , its coverage of institutions, authors, funds, journals and literature was de-scribed in terms of RDE semantics. The contents in literature were mined and analyzed in depth based on the litera-ture-marked information with the institutions database, funds database, journals database and literature database as their cores, the association of information resources in biomedical field was thus realized. The CMCI institutional knowledge version can be used to search published papers and citations, write citation reports, enforce bibliometric visualization analysis, issue different top-ranked statistical data, push associated information, increase institutional literature management modules, and provide personal literature management and assessment service for different in-stitutions.

RESUMO

An integrated retrieval platform for online biomedical literature citations with the functions of one-stop retrieval, automatic removal of duplications, automatic grouping, and rapid output of standard citation report, was constructed on the basis of CMCI, with the C/S structure as its model and the NET framework as its development platform, in order to solve the problems of different citation databases in our library, such as inconsistent retrieval methods, inconsistent displaying methods of retrieval outcomes, and non-standard citation description, which can thus improve the efficiency of searching and citing biomedical literature.
