Arquetipo de muerte: un estudio en jóvenes mexicanos desde la perspectiva de Carl Gustav Jung / Archetype of death: a study in young Mexicans from Carl Gustav Jung's perspective

Resumen El objetivo de esta investigación fue analizar el arquetipo de muerte que se encuentra en el inconsciente colectivo de los jóvenes de Saltillo que han tenido un acercamiento con la muerte, ya sea de forma directa o a través de un familiar cercano. Los participantes fueron 6 jóvenes (2 mujeres y 4 hombres) con edades que oscilan entre los 24 y 29 años. La técnica de recolección de la información utilizada fue la entrevista a profundidad. Estas entrevistas se realizaron de manera individual y en una sesión con cada participante, a excepción de un sujeto, que debido a la cantidad de información, se realizó en dos sesiones. Se elaboró un análisis del discurso con aproximación a la hermenéutica, guiada por la teoría de la interpretación de Paul Ricœur (2003). Se hicieron 3 categorías de análisis: concepto, creencias y características alrededor de la muerte. Al momento de realizar la categorización de la información, se decidió añadir una categoría más, que es la de emociones y sentimientos ante la muerte.

Abstract The objective of this research was to analyze the archetype of death found in the collective unconscious of young adults from Saltillo, who have had near death experienced, either directly or through a close relative. There were six participants: 2 women and 4 men, with ages ranging from 24 to 29. The data collection technique used was the in-depth interview. These interviews were conducted individually and in one session with each participant, with the exception of one individual who had two sessions, due to the amount of information. A discourse analysis was prepared with a hermeneutic approach, guided by Paul Ricœur's theory of interpretation (2003). Three categories of analysis were made: concept, beliefs, and characteristics about death. At the time of categorizing the information, it was decided to add one more category, which is emotions and feelings about death.

El sistema de creencias. Un mundo en declive / The belief system. A world in decline

Dada la diversidad de teorías psicológicas y sociológicas, se han pasado por alto diversos elementos conceptuales que, viéndolo desde una perspectiva analítica, podrían dar explicación y solución a diversas situaciones problemáticas vigentes en muchos de los países latinoamericanos, y en caso concreto, en Colombia. Es por está razón de ser que se estructura el presente ensayo, el cual tiene como fin retomar algunas teorías que, aun pudiendo generar controversia y contrariedad, también pueden explicar el origen de diversos fenómenos sociales presentes en esta hermosa tierra colombiana, y así mismo, permite generar posibles soluciones ante dichos fenómenos, los cuales han consolidado una serie diversa de situaciones altamente problemáticas.

Given the diversity of psychological and sociological theories, a number of conceptual elements have been overlooked, which, from an analytical perspective, could provide an explanation and solution to various problematic situations in many Latin American countries, and in Colombia in particular. It is for this reason that the present essay is structured, which aims to retake some theories that, although they can generate controversy and contrariety, also explain the origin of diverse social phenomena present in this beautiful Colombian land, and also, allows to generate possible solutions to these phenomena, which have consolidated a diverse series of highly problematic situations.

Da natureza e do inconsciente coletivo / Of Nature and the Collective Unconscious / De la Naturaleza y del Inconsciente Colectivo

Este artigo tem como objetivo traçar um paralelo entre o conceito de inconsciente coletivo da psicologia analítica e a concepção de natureza dentro da tradição filosófica. Tenta demonstrar a proximidade do pensamento analítico, no que se refere à concepção de Natureza e inconsciente, com a concepção de Natureza no Romantismo alemão e na filosofia grega.

This article aims to draw a parallel between the concept of the collective unconscious of analytical psychology and the conception of Nature within the philosophical tradition. It tries to demonstrate the proximity of analytical thinking, regarding the conception of Nature and unconscious, with the conception of Nature in German Romanticism and Greek philosophy.

Nietzsche, Jung e a tragédia grega / Nietzsche, Jung and the Greek tragedy

Neste artigo, a autora discute a questão do processo criativo em O nascimento da tragédia, descrita por F Nietzsche, quem analisou e revelou os elementos arquetípicos constitutivos do fenômeno trágico - o saber, o apolíneo e o dionisíaco - mas, sobretudo, iluminou a dialética fundamental da criatividade humana. No entanto, ao observar a dialética entre os dois arquétipos, sua análise ultrapassa a questão da criação da tragédia e do processo criativo, sendo transportada para o plano metafísico, dá os fundamentos para a compreensão do processo histórico - vale dizer, a individuação da cultura, bem como a individuação do homem. Este artigo tem como objetivo, ao descrever as ideias fundamentais de Nietzsche em O nascimento da tragédia, mostrar como C. G. Jung absorveu-as na compreensão do processo criativo e da arte, mas, fundamentalmente, mostrar como essa se liga ao processo de individuação.

In this article the author discusses the issue of creative process in The birth of tragedy, described by Nietzsche, who analyzed and revealed the constituent elements of the archetypal tragic phenomenon, namely the apollonian and the dionisyan, illuminating the fundamental dialetic of human creativity. However, when observing the dialetic between the two archetypes his analyses goes beyond the question of the creation of tragedy and the creative process that transposed to the metaphysical level and gives the fundamental basis for the comprehension of the historical process, i.e. of the individuation of both man and culture. This article has the aim to describe Nietzsche's ideas in The birth os tragedy, and how C. G. Jung received them on the comprehension of the creative process and art and exposes how they are connected to the individuation process.

C. G. Jung, S. Freud e o estranho E. T. A. Hoffmann / C. G. Jung, S. Freud and the uncanny ETA Hoffmann

O artigo tem como objetivo destacar a importância de um escritor, E. T. A. Hoffmann, e de um obra, seu romance Os Elixires do Diabo, na obra de Jung. O texto parte de cartas entre Freud e Jung, tendo como ponto de intersecção Hoffmann, seu romance e o tema do irmão sinistro que gerou repercussões teóricas em ambos, como já foi brilhantemente demonstrado por John Kerr. Em Freud, o resultado foi um artigo, "O Estranho" (Das Unheimliche), de 1919; em Jung, objetivamente o conceito de sombra e o que ele chamou de sua "teologia": a ideia de que os conflitos entre o mundo material e o espiritual estão presentes nos fundamentos da psique. O texto propõe que essa discussão iniciada nas cartas reaparece anos depois e de forma subliminar, não nomeada no artigo de Freud, no qual ele rechaça mais uma vez a ideia de inconsciente coletivo, sem entretanto nomeá-lo. Jung tornou-se, para Freud, o oculto por excelência, ou "aquele que não pode ser nomeado". Conclui, ainda, que o romance Os Elixires do Diabo e a discussão sobre a temática dos irmãos e do duplo propiciada pela impactante leitura estimularam Jung a desenvolver a ideia de memória arcaica e memoria filogenética, precursora do conceito de inconsciente coletivo e que, em contrapartida, esse conceito permite à psicologia analítica e à análise literária comparada uma leitura mais rica e abrangente da obra de E. T. A. Hoffmann

The paper aims to highlight the importance of a writer, ETA Hoffmann, and a work, his novel The Devil's Elixirs on Jung's work. For such we examine the correspondence between Freud and Jung, having Hoffmann, his novel and the theme of the sinister brother as an intersection that have theoretical repercussions on both as John Kerr brilliantly demonstrated. The result for Freud was the paper "The Uncanny" (Das Unheimliche), 1919. For Jung, it was objectively the concept os shadow and what he called his "theology": the idea that the conflict between material and spiritual worlds is present in the fundaments of the psyche. The paper proposes that this discussion thar started on letters reappears years later and subliminally not named in Freud's paper, where he once again rejects the idea of collective unconscious, but not naming it. Jung has become for Freud the hidden par excellence, or "one who can not be named". It also concludes that the novel Devil's Elixirs and the discussion on the theme of brothers and double encouraged Jung to develop the idea of archaic memory and phylogenetic memory, forerunner of the concept of the collective unconscious, and that, by contrast, this concept allows analytical psychology and literary analysis a richer and more comprehensive reading of ETA Hoffmann's work
