Sobre o amor entre mulheres: apontamentos sobre conjugalidade e sexualidade / About love between women: notes on conjugality and sexuality

O objetivo deste trabalho foi conhecer as características dos relacionamentos afetivo-sexuais entre mulheres. Trata-se de estudo descritivo de abordagem qualitativa, utilizando como instrumento entrevista com roteiro semiestruturado. Participaram cinco mulheres, com idades entre 25 e 37 anos, que estabelecem parceria afetivo-sexual com outra mulher, sob a forma de coabitação há no mínimo um ano. A análise qualitativa de inspiração fenomenológica identificou particularidades e pontos convergentes nas experiências relatadas. Os dados apontam que a trajetória de vida dessas mulheres é marcada por violências, enquanto a constituição de uma nova família é permeada por intenso afeto, companheirismo e parceria. Conhecer os relacionamentos entre mulheres é importante para a desmistificação de estigmas que ainda se atualizam sob a forma de violência contra mulheres lésbicas e bissexuais. Aponta-se que para pesquisas futuras seja interessante ampliar a faixa etária das participantes, bem como utilizar marcadores de classe e raça.

The objective of this work was to know the characteristics of affective-sexual relationships between women. This is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach, using a semi-structured interview as an instrument. The participants were five women, aged between 25 to 37 years, who have established an affective-sexual partnership with another woman, in the form of cohabitation for at least one year. The qualitative analysis of phenomenological inspiration identified particularities and convergent points in the reported experiences. The data indicate that the life trajectory of these women is marked by violence, while the constitution of a new family is permeated by intense affection, companionship and partnership. Knowing the relationships between women is important to demystify the stigmas that are still perpetuated in the form of violence against lesbians and bisexual women. It is pointed out that for future research it is interesting to expand the age range of the participants, as well as to use social class and race markers.

A Análise de Discurso em uma pesquisa sobre conjugalidades homossexuais / The Discourse Analysis in a research on homosexual conjugalities

O texto apresenta e discute a utilização da metodologia da Análise do Discurso, em sua vertente francesa, em uma pesquisa sobre a conjugalidade homossexual. Foram realizadas entrevistas semiestruturadas com quatro casais, dois gays e dois lésbicos, e o material coletado foi analisado através da Análise do Discurso. Como resultado, foi possível observar que as conjugalidades analisadas se constituem por meio de uma temporalidade social, e de ações, atos e discursos performativos que, a princípio descontínuos, sedimentam a transição entre a vida do "eu" e a vida do "nós". Os discursos dos sujeitos no tocante às suas relações afetivo-sexuais, mesmo que previamente atravessados pelas regulações de gênero, sexo e desejo, expressam as muitas e múltiplas possibilidades e especificidades de cada história particular. Constroem-se, desse modo, possibilidades conjugais e de si.(AU)

The text presents and discusses the use of the Discourse Analysis methodology, in its French bias, in a research on homosexual conjugality. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with four couples, two gays and two lesbians, and the collected material was analyzed through Discourse Analysis. As a result, it was possible to observe that the conjugalities analyzed are constituted by a social temporality, and by actions, acts and performative discourses that, at first discontinuous, sediment the transition between the life of the "I" and the life of "we". The subjects' discourses regarding their affective-sexual relations, even though previously crossed by the regulations of gender, sex and desire, express the many and multiple possibilities and specificities of each particular history. In this way, conjugal and self-possibilities are built up.(AU)

Posicionamentos de homens em uma relação de coabitação / Men's positioning in cohabiting relationship

As transformações culturais, sociais e econômicas contemporâneas se refletem nas relações conjugais, em suas representações e práticas. Conseqüentemente, grande parte das expectativas e demandas dirigidas aos parceiros nas relações conjugais também mudaram. Este estudo de casos, baseado nas teorias de González Rey e da Rede de Significações, teve como objetivo compreender o discurso de quatro homens (25-40 anos) que coabitam com suas parceiras sobre as posições que ocupam e que lhes são atribuídas na relação conjugal. A análise de conteúdo das entrevistas realizadas mostrou que todos consideraram que cabe ao homem, na relação conjugal, ser o provedor. É permitido à mulher trabalhar, mas a contribuição financeira masculina deve ser decisiva. A representação do homem como provedor continua fortemente associada à subjetividade masculina, provavelmente pelo poder que concede aos homens na relação. A coabitação significa o aprofundamento da relação, sem a solidez do casamento. É um espaço de experimentação.(AU)

Nowadays, cultural, social and economical changes are reflected in conjugal relationships, in their practices, and representations. Consequently, a significant part of the expectations and demands directed to the partners involved in those conjugal relations have also changed. The purpose of this case study, based on Gonzalez Rey's and Network of Meanings theories, was to understand the discourse of four men (25-40 years old), who cohabit with their partners, about the positions they occupy and the ones assigned to them in the relationship. The content analysis of the interviews showed that the participants considered that it is the man's role to be the provider. Women are allowed to work. However, men's financial contribution has to be decisive. Man's representation as the provider is still strongly related to his subjectivity, possibly because of the power granted to him by this position. As to cohabitation, it means the intensification of a relationship without the solidity of marriage. It is, initially, a time for experimentation.(AU)
