RESUMO
Tharus are one of the largest ethnic groups in Nepal making up 6.75 percentage of the total population, and yet oneof the weakest and most marginalized populace. Tharus have unique linguistic and cultural heritages to their credit.Tharus that inhabit Nepal from east to west are composed of various endogamous groups with different culturalpractices and languages. The present study deals with the socio-economic status, demographic characteristics andcultural pattern of the Tharu community living in Fattepur VDC of Bara district. A very little research on theTharus has been done or that the works dealing with Tharu culture are published in very low volumes.The mainaim of the work will be to study the cultural aspect of the Tharus that live in Fattepur VDC of Bara district. Thepoor and minorities are often left by the researchers while they might have a key role in development process. Veryfewer researches have been made on Tharu Community and till now, no research has been made on the TharuCommunity in the specified area. Living in substance land,Tharus are comparatively sidelined and deprived. Inthis context, this study will be very important and helpful to solve their basic problems such as illiteracy, poverty,poor health status, poor land for agricultural production, low socio-economic status, etc.The conceptual frameworkwhich incorporates parts of the theories of frameworks such as religion, clothing style, language, politicalparticipation, and customs and traditions

Las tradiciones conceptuales analizadas en el transcurso del tiempo constituyen un entramado complejo cuya dinámica permite apreciar una secuencia de movimientos que muestran afianzamientos, y desdibujamientos, predominios alternantes, coexistencias contradictorias, desplazamientos progresivos y sustituciones abruptas, que no son ajenas a polémicas en el orden cultural-institucional o político social. Así, en lo político en Argentina, la peculiar alternancia de períodos de democracia de participación ampliada o restringida en estrecha relación con los drásticos cambios poblacionales operados (la gran inmigración de principios de siglo o las significativas migraciones internas en la década del 30 y 40) configuran lógicas de búsquedas que, a través de un complejo sistema valorativo, presiona operando selectivamente en la oferta conceptual, y lo encamina hacia aquellas formulaciones acordes con su proyecto de especial interés en nuestro caso: la noción de sujeto y, correlativamente, la de psicología. Este sistema en tensión decanta en el tiempo lo que cristaliza como la identidad profesional del psicólogo, agente de una práctica instituida y legitimada que condensa diversas conceptualizaciones
The conceptual traditions, which are analyzed throughout time, give rise to a complex framework. The dynamics of such a framework make it possible to envisage a sequence of movements. These movements show reinforcement and fading, alternating predominance, contradictory existences, progressive shifts, and abrupt substitutions, which are not detached from cultural or political debates. Thus, within Argentine politics the specific alternation of democratic periods with wide or restricted participation along with the dramatic changes in population -the great immigration that took place at the beginning of this century and the significant internal migration of the 30's and 40's - generates different kinds of search logic. Through a complex system of values, the said alternation works selectively on the conceptual offer by gearing it towards forms that conform to its project. In our case, the notion of subject as well as that of Psychology are of particular interest. This system becomes decanted with the passing of time and finally establishes itself as the professional identity of psychologists, who are agents of a legitimated, institutional practice that comprises various conceptual forms.
