RESUMO

Queixa escolar é um dos principais motivos de encaminhamento de crianças à rede pública de saúde e clínicas-escola de psicologia. Estudos sugerem que no segmento de crianças encaminhadas com queixa escolar, a prevalência de problemas de saúde mental é maior que na população geral. Este trabalho teve como objetivo identificar transtornos psiquiátricos associados à queixa escolar segundo categorias do DSM-IV-TRTM, além da descrição da clientela. Participaram 103 crianças com queixa escolar, de seis a doze anos, inscritas em uma clínica-escola de psicologia. Foram feitas consultas aos prontuários e aplicação junto ao responsável da versão brasileira do Developmentand Well-Being Assesment (DAWBA), entrevista de diagnóstico psiquiátrico na infância compatível com o DSM-IV-TRTM. Foi encontrada alta prevalência de crianças com problemas de saúde mental, história prévia na área de saúde e uso de medicação psicotrópica. Low performance at school is one of the main reasons for referral of children to public health services and clinical school of psychology. Studies suggest that the prevalence of mental health problems is higher among children with underachievement than in general population. This study aimed to identify psychiatric disorders associated with underachievement according to the categories of DSM-IV-TRTM and describe the clientele. One hundred and three children participated, aged 6 to 12 years, referred to a university clinic of psychology, with complaints of underachievement. The records were consulted and the adapted Brazilian parent-version of the Development and Well-Being Assessment (DAWBA), interview for the diagnosis of mental disorders in childhood and adolescence according to DSM-IV-TRTM, was applied. Bajo rendimiento escolar es una de las razones principales de encaminamiento de niños a servicios de psicología y de salud pública. Estudios sugieren que la prevalencia de problemas de salud mental es mayor entre niños con bajo rendimiento que en la población. Este estudio tuvo como objetivo identificar los trastornos psiquiátricos asociados al bajo rendimiento escolar según las categorías del DSM-IV-TRTM y describir la clientela. Ciento tres niños participaron, de seis a doce años, atendidos en una clínica universitaria de psicología, debido al bajo rendimiento. Los registros fueron consultados y fue aplicada la versión brasileña de Development and Well-Being Assesment (DAWBA), entrevista de diagnóstico psiquiátrico en la infancia compatible con el DSM-IV-TRTM. RESUMO

Objective To investigate the impact of genetic and environmental factors on mental health status in adolescents twins. Methods A total of 52 pairs of twins aged 11 years were recruited with support from educational committees and school. After the guardians of these twins had signed an informed consent form,the Chinese version growth and the state of health evaluation (Development and Well-Bing Assessment,DAWBA) carries on twins' mental health growth condition investigation to the twins of Age greater than 11-year-old,and focus on a-nalysis of DAWBA youth-assessment version of more than 11-year-old twins. Buccal mucosa samples were collected from all twins for DNA extraction and zygosity identification test. Results The mood, the behavior symptom and the symptom produced the influence of the DAWBA and in the computer diagnosis' s result showed that the intra-pair correlation coefficience of the emotional disorder(rMZ=0, 200, P = 0. 28; r DZ = 0. 198, P = 0. 447) (MZ means was monozygotic,DZ means was dizygotie, r means was correlation), the special phobia symptom(r MZ = 0.440, P = 0.013;rDZ =0.419, P=0.094),the social phobia (rMZ =0.2%, P = 0. 106; r DZ = -0.119, P = 0.648),the depressive symptom (rMZ =0.556, P=0.001; rDZ = -0.254, P=0.325), and the oppositional/con-duct disorder(rMZ =0.503, P = 0.014; rDZ = -0.270, P = 0.295),eating disorder(r MZ =0.764, P=0.046; rDZ = -0.091, P=0.728) in Monozygotic twins was more remarkable than that in dizygotie twin. Conclusion The genetic factors play the vital role in affects in the child twins' mental health growth.
