RESUMO

Objective In order to discuss the practicability and risk analysis of deep venous catheter in AIDS patients. Methods 112 patients who needed to keep the intravenous route between October in 2010 and February in 2012 in Yunnan AIDS care center were implemented deep venous catheter. Results Right Subclavian vein catheter 101 cases, right internal jugular vein catheter 10 cases, right femoral vein catheter in 1.Wound happened in 5 cases, catheter heterotopia 1 case. Conclusion Deep venous catheter in patients with HIV/AIDS clinical diagnosis and treatment work could not only relieve the patients' pain because of repeated puncture, reduce the nursing workload, ensure the smooth progress of the clinical diagnosis and treatment, but also the more important is to reduce the occupational exposure risk of medical staff.

RESUMO

[Objective] To analyze the reasons of unplanned extubation(UE)of deep venous catheter (DVC)and explore the prevention strategies.[Methods] The experiences and lessons of maintenance of deep venous catheter of 410 patients were retrospectively reviewed, causes of unplanned extubation in 25 cases were analyzed.[Results] Catheter obstruction, accidental pulling-off of eatheter,catheter-related infections, thrombosis formation, skin allergy and other complications were the main reasons for unplanned extubation. These complications were mainly related to patients, medical staff factors and catheter sites or other relevant situations.[Conclusions] The measures such as fully understanding and correct analysis of unplanned extubation reasons, assessment of risk factors, actively seeking effective nursing intervention measures to ensure the standardization of the nursing practice can significantly reduce the rate of unplanned extubation.

RESUMO

ObjectiveTo investigate the nursing scheme to prevent infection, thromboembolism, accidental shedding during application of permanent deep venous catheter in hemodialysis. Methods28 patients undergoing maintenance hemodialysis from January 2007 to February 2009 were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group with 14 patients in each group. The control group took conventional care only, the observation group was given pertinent nursing intervention. After treatment the number of patients with infection and thromboembolism were compared in both groups. ResultsAll patients were successfully placed catheters.Number of patients with infection, thromboembolism and accidental shedding in the observation group were less than those in the control group. But there was no significant difference in average indwelling time of catheters between two groups. ConclusionsApplication of permanent deep venous catheter in hemodialysis shows good effect,it can decrease the incidence of complication and should be widely applied.
