RESUMO
Quilotórax representa a condição na qual ocorre acúmulo de fluido linfático de origem intestinal, no espaço pleural. A forma congênita é rara, sendo ainda mais infrequente nos prematuros e do sexo feminino. É relatado o caso de gêmeas prematuras que desenvolveram quilotórax durante a internação em unidade de terapia intensiva neonatal (AU)
Chylothorax is a condition in which there is an accumulation of lymphatic fluid of intestinal origin in the pleural space. The congenital form is rare, and even more uncommon in pre-term and female infants. Here the authors report the case of premature twins who developed chylothorax during hospitalization in the neonatal intensive care unit (AU)
