RESUMO

Objective: To study the ecological suitability of Angelica sinensis growing in Gansu Province and guide the rational cultivation. Methods: Through visiting and field investigation, 1 545 batches of Chinese angelica samples were collected from the county areas in Gansu Province. The information about the longitude, latitude, altitude of each sampling point was collected by using the GPS, combining with national environmental factor data, and using Maxent model and spatial analysis function of ArcGIS software. Results: The areas with high suitability of A. sinensis distribution are in the southeast of Gansu Province. The main ecological factors affecting the suitability distribution of A. sinensis were altitude, rainfall in March, May and December, wettest month precipitation, soil pH and other ecological factors. Conclusion: The research findings are basically consistent with the living habits of A. sinensis that cultivated in high-cold mountain areas and plateau flat pasture areas with a cool climate, moderate soil, moisture, slightly acidic to neutral fertile and loose brown sandy loam soil. This result can provide scientific basis for the reasonable distribution of A. sinensis cultivation area in Gansu Province.

The brachial plexus is formed from five spinal roots: C5, C6, C7, C8 and T1, providing innervation to the upper limb. It has been shown that the morphometric analysis of nerve fibers is of great value in detecting abnormalities, such as the size of nerve bundles, the number or size of axons and the area of myelin. The present study was performed on samples of 10 brachial plexuses (5 right, 5 left), obtained from 5 fresh cadavers, male, with an average age between 24 ± 3.14 (range, 20-30 years), and 73 ± 5.52 years (range, 60-90 years), with no history of malignancy and neuropsychiatric pathology. The samples were fixed in 10% formalin and stained with hematoxylineosin. The data obtained from the 10 brachial plexuses were grouped into two age ranges, these being young and adult. In the group of young people the number of fascicles in C5, 4.00 ± 1.22; C6, 9.25 ± 3.83; C7, 15.20 ± 7.57; C8, 8.60 ± 5.39; T1, 4.80 ± 3.19 in adults the diameter of the root was C5, 4.77 ± 1.31; C6, 5.39 ± 0.76; C7, 5.91 ± 1.63; C8, 5.19 ± 0.94; T1, 4.86 ± 1.40. There are differences between the nerve roots of the human brachial plexus, young individuals and Chilean adults, so the root area of young individuals is smaller, the number of fascicles decreases in adult individuals and their diameters are always higher in the latter.

RESUMO

Restrictions (burdens) of land plots are the subject of land and legal relations, which are fixed by legal documents (for example, a lease agreement, a contract for free fixed-term use, an agreement on the limited use of a land plot, etc.). Moreover, restrictions (burdens) can be part of the subject of land and legal relations (areas under buildings, structures, engineering communications, etc., which are part of land plots with registered rights). Questions of theory, practice and methodology are represented in some works on history, the theory of civil law, and especially those relating only servitudes reflected in many studies. It should be noted that the documented information of the Real Estate Cadastre is constantly updated in accordance with the changed legal status of land plots and land use subjects taking into account the transactions made, the presence of the agricultural production condition of the land, as well as environmental and other restrictions, including servitudes, etc. All this information that changes over time should be open and accessible to the participants in land relations. The state registration of rights to land and other immovable property and transactions is a legal act of recognition and confirmation by the state of the existence, occurrence, restriction (burdens), transfer or termination of rights. The right to a land plot arises as a result of the state registration; it is reflected in the land cadastre. The state registration is the only evidence of the existence of a registered right; the right to land and other real property can only be contested in the courts. In view of the above, it can be assumed that the theme of the work is relevant and has great scientific and practical importance.

RESUMO

Land is extremely valuable in the activities of any society. As the main component of the environment, land performs an important ecological function. The land surface serves as the location for various objects, and its soil layer is used as a means of production in agriculture and forestry. Essentially, land is the main and natural factor in any sphere of business, directly or indirectly involved in the production of all other goods and amenities. The social role of land is that it serves as a habitat and a condition for human life. Finally, the land as a territory of a state or its administrative-territorial units determines a political function. Land legislation and adopted regulatory acts of the Russian Federation and subjects of the Russian Federation govern land relations, rights and obligations of subjects of land relations, the basic rules for the functional use of land resources in various sectors, establish differences in the legal regime of land and determine the procedure for solving a whole number of other issues. The topic of this work is relevant due to the fact that the registration of land relations is one of the most acute, problematic and still not completely resolved issues to date.

RESUMO

Currently, the oil and gas industry is one of the most important elements of the economy of the Russian Federation; its reliable operation is an important factor for further economic development of the country. Linear communication objects help to track the state of the oil and gas industry objects and manage oil and gas industry objects, so the provision of land plots for the construction of linear communication objects is of great importance for the development of the oil and gas industry as a whole. The topic is relevant due to the fact that the theoretical study of the organization of land relations, the characteristics and procedure for the provision of a land plot for a linear communication object are important issues for both land management and the State Real Estate Cadastre. The procedure for providing a land plot for the construction of linear infrastructure (a fiber-optic communication line), examined in the course of the work, includes: 1) preparatory administrative actions; 2) considering the possibility of using a land plot by the department of architecture; 3) a meeting of the land and town-planning commission and taking the decision on the possibility or impossibility of approving the location of the object; 4) issuing a decree on the preliminary approval of the location of the object; 5) publication of a legal act on the approval of the location of the land plot on the cadastral map of the relevant territory and on the approval of the act of selecting the land plot; 6) establishing the boundaries of the land plot on the site to prepare a delimitation plan; 7) state cadastral registration of a land plot; 8) issuing a decree on the lease of a land plot; concluding the contract of lease with the applicant.

RESUMO

A land plot is part of the earth's surface, the boundaries of which are defined in accordance with federal laws. Currently, there are two methods of providing land plots for a recreation zone: without the prior agreement of the object location and with the preliminary agreement of the object location. The paper analyzes the regulatory and legal acts of the Russian Federation governing land relations. The purpose of the work is to study the process of providing land plots. The object of the study is a land plot provided for the placement of recreational facilities. The subject of the study is the system of normative legal documents regulating land relations. In this paper, the author considers the procedure for the provision of land plots for a recreational zone with a preliminary agreement on the location of the object by the example of a land plot requested for the development of a forest park. Compliance with legal requirements and substantive rules of law is largely determined by the regulation of the process of their application, that is, the fulfillment of procedural provisions. In general, the procedure for allocation of land plots and the rights to them in the land legislation is provided in sufficient detail. Since a public authority is one of the parties in the relationship on the provision of land plots, and a land plot, that is, a specifically valuable form of real estate, is the object thereof, both provisional procedures (with the object location agreement and without it) consist of a number of stages regulated in detail by the land legislation.

RESUMO

The State Real Estate Cadastre of the Russian Federation and its technologic methods were substantially modified at every step of their development. This has caused the following: to date, the State Cadastral Registration contains the data for land plots, the boundaries of which have been set in accordance with the law, as well as the data for earlier recorded land plots without descriptions of boundaries and their demarcation afield. Additionally, the boundary description for registered land plots is often inconsistent with their real site location. One of the reasons is that the visual checking of site location for boundaries described by a cadastral engineer during the registration of land plots is not provided; so, it is impossible to identify the errors at once. The timeliness of this work is that a large volume of records for land plots accumulated in the Real Estate Cadastre requires adjustment and correction; and the performance of complex cadastral works which have been described in Russian legislation recently makes it possible to correct the errors and simultaneously specify the locations of all land plots within the boundaries of one or several closely-spaced cadastral units at once. The mission of the study is the development of methods for the implementation of complex cadastral works for position updating of land plot boundaries based on the data received using an unmanned aerial vehicle. To achieve this goal, the following tasks should be solved: • Articulate the concept and detect the background for the introduction of complex cadastral works in the Russian Federation. • Analyze the data of the State Real Estate Cadastre for land plots which are the targets for complex cadastral works. • Describe the technique of aerial photography using unmanned aerial vehicles and provide the assessment of the accuracy of positioning using orthophotoplans. The work reveals the procedure of complex cadastral works based on digital orthophotoplans; the technique of aerial photography using the compilation of unmanned aerial vehicles and orthophotoplans is described; the assessment of the accuracy of positioning by a digital orthophotoplan is provided. The performance of complex cadastral works will allow updating the data of the State Real Estate Cadastre and improving the efficiency of territory management. The procedure for complex cadastral works based on the data received using unmanned aerial vehicles has been developed.

RESUMO

In various neuroanatomy texts and articles related to this area of knowledge, there is a conceptual vacuum associated with the precise sites where the roots of the cranial nerves emerge. The objective of the study was to establish the exact location of the apparent origin of the glossopharyngeal, vagus and accessory cranial nerves in the medulla oblongata of the human being 120 human brainstems, previously fixed in formalin solution at 10 % were assessed, the location where such nerve roots emerge was identified by direct examination and once the piamater was removed at both right and left sides as it has been stated in the literature. It was found that in 100 % of the studied brainstems their nerve roots emerge on average at about 2.63 mm behind the retro-olivary groove, different to what has been stated in the literature. Glossopharyngeal, vagus and accessory human nerves do not emerge directly from the retroolivary groove, as commonly reported; instead, they emerge behind the said groove, specifically in the retro-olivary groove area, where they form a continuous line of nerve roots.

Abstract This article analyzes the contradictions in the housing space organization in a favela of Sao Paulo. I carried out ethnographic fieldwork with 18 months of participant observation, 21 interviews with residents and local workers, and 26 testimonials of the memorial project. In an attempt to make sense and understand this urban social phenomenon, I divided the data into two categories and 16 subcategories, carrying out the analysis based on grounded theory. Considering the spatiotemporal epistemology associated with the theory of organizing, I conclude that in the organization of the favela's housing space, the social struggle for housing coexists with practices like those of a real estate market, although adapted to the reality of the favela. These two phenomena are simultaneously in conflict and nourish each other, making it complex the fulfillment of the right to housing.

RESUMO

Background: Industrial activity in Thailand’s coastal areas has significantly increased mercury concentrations in seawater, causing accumulation through the food chain. Continuous exposure to mercury has been linked to bioaccumulation in living organisms and potential adverse health effects in children. Methods: Blood samples were collected from 873 schoolchildren aged 6–13 years living in four sites near the eastern seaboard industrial estates of the Gulf of Thailand in 2011. Total mercury level in whole blood (Hg-B) was compared with standard reference values. Results: Mean (± standard deviation) concentrations of Hg-B from schoolgirls (2.19 ± 0.5 μg/L; n = 405) and schoolboys (2.29 ± 0.3 μg/L; n = 468) did not exceed the regulatory limits of the United States Environmental Protection Agency (US EPA), the German Commission on Human Biological Monitoring (HBM I, II) or Clarke’s analysis of drugs and poisons reference values. Nevertheless, 67 children (34 girls and 33 boys) had individual values that exceeded the lowest of these standards (4 μg/L). Conclusion: The relatively low concentrations of Hg-B detected in this study suggested a relatively low risk for schoolchildren. However, 67 children had elevated mean total Hg-B concentrations, especially in the two sites located nearest the industrial area. This information may serve as an early warning of the potential for pollution to affect children living around industrial areas. Further regular monitoring, including studies assessing the health impact of mercury pollution in this region of Thailand, is to be encouraged.

This article considers the city as the main social actor under a hypermodern context. The process of urbanization and the subject of consumption will be in focus, mainly those issues related to real estate market and industry, taken as a part of capitalism. The competitiveness among companies in this market section is present in the search for new market niches, as well as in the growing competition among great and small incorporation companies. They dispute places, areas and new patterns of “concepts”, ways and styles of living, as reported in the publicity. In the opposite end of this relationship we find the consumer, an urban subject, inserted in a fragmented universe. A combination of factors make Brazilian consumers to recognize habitation as a dream, ideal and life goal, a symbol of success and social status, which are expressed in the location of the habitation and in the style of dwelling.

This article begins with a brief theoretical discussion of the production of urban space and the emergence of environmental regulamentation, especially in terms of urban expansion. Next, instruments of environmental regulation are discussed, especially the licensing of activities. Such instruments have created diverse social practices that articulate economic interests, the State, and social groups involved in environmental protection. The contradictory features of State intervention are also discussed, as well as the limits and possibilities of action by organized social movements involved in urban expansion. The text refers to a case study of metropolitan growth in the southern side of the city of Belo Horizonte, Brazil. In this context, conflicts involving land use and appropriation are discussed, as well as real-estate interests as they add value to their products, thus reinforcing well known forms of gentrification and exclusion. The article also brings up the question as to whether change is possible on the basis of participation and conflict negotiation among the social agents involved.
