RESUMO

OBJECTIVE:To prov ide re ference for the development of biomedical industry in China. METHODS :The policies and documents issued by 169 national high-tech industrial development zone (hereinafter reffered to as “National high-tech zone ”) official websites from Jan. 2010 to Dec. 2019 were collected to screen policies specifically for the biomedical industry and the development policy of biomedical industry mentioned in all industrial policies. Excel 2019 software was used to summarize and analyze policy information. Gensim package was used to preprocess the policy texts and construct LDA topic model to extract the potential semantic information from the policy texts. RESULTS :A total of 518 policy texts were collected ,including 58 617 effective words ;high-frequency words included project ,talent,support,subsidy,innovation,etc.;8 themes were extracted , ranked by theme intensity as technological innovation ,talent construction ,financing support ,project financial support ,tax incentives, resource guidance ,export trade ,and construction of small and medium-sized enterprises ,with the intensities of 0.299, 0.168,0.134,0.116,0.113,0.063,0.058 and 0.049,respectively. CONCLUSIONS :The biomedical industry policy of the national high-tech zone is mainly based on technological innovation ,talent construction and financing support ,and lacks attention to the construction of small and medium-sized enterprises ,resource guidance ,and export trade. In the future ,the national high-tech zone ’s policy support and system construction for the biomedical industry should focus on improving policy incentives and balancing the proportion of policy applications in various fields ;encourage enterprises to expand overseas markets ,learn overseas advanced technologies ,and strengthen multilateral cooperation in scientific research and other fields ;support the corresponding policies to enhance exchanges and cooperation between enterprises ,give play to the leading role of leading enterprises and famous brand products ,and promote the development of small and medium-sized enterprises.

RESUMO

Objective:To evaluate the efficiency of high-tech medical equipment of county-level hospitals in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, and to provide a scientific foundation for high-tech medical equipment configuration planning for county-level hospitals. Methods: DEA model was used to evaluate the relative efficiency of 40 county-level hospitals in Guangxi. Results: 4 among 40 hospitals (10.00%) could be categorized as effective hospitals, and pure technical efficiency is not high in 30 hospitals (75.00%). The returns to scale decreased in 20 hospitals (50.00%), and 16 hospitals (40.00%) increased. The average number of the overall efficiency, pure technical efficiency and scale efficiency of the 40 hospitals were 0.684, 0.753 and 0.908 respectively. Conclusion: Departments concerned should set reasonable evaluation index to ensure that the evaluation is scientific. Hospitals should strengthen the internal management of high-tech medical equipment to improve the utilization rate of the equipment. Departments concerned are supposed to curb or enlarge the number of the high-tech medical equipment to improve the scale efficiency of the equipment.

RESUMO

OBJECTIVES: In light of the increasing number of high-tech industry workers and the differences in their working conditions compared to those of the general population, the health status of these workers merits serious attention. This study aimed to explore the prevalence of metabolic syndrome and its correlates among Taiwanese high-tech industry workers. METHODS: This cross-sectional study included 4,666 workers who participated in labor health examinations at a hospital in southern Taiwan in 2008. Participants with metabolic syndrome were defined using the criteria proposed by the Taiwan National Department of Health in 2007. Factors associated with metabolic syndrome were determined using multiple logistic regression analysis. RESULTS: The overall prevalence of metabolic syndrome was 8.2 percent, and the prevalence was higher in men than in women (14.0 percent vs. 2.3 percent, p<0.01). Male gender, advanced age, elevated white blood count, and elevated levels of blood biochemistry markers, such as alanine aminotransferase and uric acid, can independently predict metabolic syndrome. CONCLUSIONS: The prevalence of metabolic syndrome among high-tech industry workers is lower than in the general population. Our study's findings may facilitate early health assessments and the provision of proper workplace health promotion programs to reduce the risks faced by high-risk workers.

RESUMO

Objective To discuss the influence of new weapons in the high-tech war on eye wounds in order to develop the new time-effect treatment strategy. Methods The data of wounds in recent wars were investigated, the causes of eye wounds in high-tech war were analyzed, and the new concept of time effect treatment strategy for eye wounds was proposed. Results The weapons in high-tech war have developed into mass destruction and precisely guided munitions. The main cause of eye wounds is the shrapnel and some new wounds will occur such as eye wounds caused by laser or chemical toxin, radiation cataract. Conclusion In the future high-tech war, the major type of eye-wounds may still be the explosion injury and some new types of eye wounds should be paid more attention. The time-effect treatment strategy should be implemented to meet the demand of improving eye wound therapy and promoting the development of ophthalmology.

RESUMO

Objective To analyze and predict the market prospects for high-tech medical devices in China so as to provide the government, medical institutions and enterprises with decision-making information. Methods Such methods as literature review and policy analysis were employed to discuss the policies and market environment related to the allocation of medical devices. Results & Conclusion Factors affecting the allocation of high-tech medical devices have two kinds of functions, one of promotion and one of restriction. Future development of high-tech medical devices will depend on such factors as regulation and control of relevant policies and the force of thier implementation, the mecroscopic demand dynamics of medical institutions and the prices of the devices. Products by foreign manufacturers will continue to occupy and advantageous position on the high-end market while domestic manufacturers can also hope to increase their market shares in certain fields.
