Construction of competency index of nurses in public health emergencies based on iceberg model / 中国实用护理杂志

Objective:To construct competency index of nurses in public health emergencies based on iceberg mode.Methods:Based on the analysis of the work of public emergencies in the past five years, the deficiencies were summarized, and the competence index of nursing staff in public health emergencies was preliminarily formulated with the Iceberg Model as the theoretical framework and the literature review. The Delphi expert consultation method was used to select 15 experts from 7 Class Ⅲ Grade A general hospitals and Class Ⅲ Grade A specialized hospitals in Jiangsu Province who met the standards of admission and discharge from January to June 2020 for two rounds of consultation, and the competency index was finally formed.Results:The competency index of nursing staff in public health emergencies included 5 first-level indicators and 27 second-level indicators. The authority coefficient of experts on the first-level index and second-level index were 0.84 and 0.81. The coordination coefficients were 0.68 and 0.72, respectively. The differences were statistically significant( χ2 values were 73.22, 95.30, P<0.01). Conclusions:The competency index of nurses in public health emergencies in this study is highly reliable and scientific, and can provide reference for the reserve, training and assessment of nurses in public health emergencies.

For radiation technology students practicing in our hospital,in the teaching of simultaneous integration and intensity modulated radiation therapy for esophageal cancer,we have increased the quality training of social roles,self cognition,traits and motivation in the tip of the iceberg,so as to strengthen the interns' service consciousness,dedication,emotional management,and doctor-patient communication skills etc.The preliminary practice shows that the corresponding measures are conducive to the development of students' comprehensive ability,and have indirectly enhanced the patients' satisfaction in medical service.

The status quo of the domestic and foreign iceberg competency model application / 中国实用护理杂志

Objective To understand status quo of the domestic and foreign iceberg competency model application,and to provide basis for further study in the nursing iceberg competency model.Methods A literature review about the application of competency iceberg model at home and abroad since 2009 was carried out,the relevant data was listed,and the research situation of domestic and foreign nursing iceberg competency model was summarized.Results According to the 141 total literatures whose theme was the iceberg competency model,only 3 articles were related to the nursing field,while most of the iceberg competency model aimed at the study of enterprises in the high-level management personnel,sales personnel and so on.More researches on competency iceberg model were conducted abroad,involved in all walks of life,an research direction of nursing had turned from general iceberg competency model to the study of specific posts.Conclusions The iceberg competency model applied to the management of nursing human resources in China is developed lately and the studies lack breadth,depth and scientificalness.Compared with foreign countries,there is a big gap.A thorough iceberg competency model for human resource management is ought to be studied to provide a new perspective and a more useful tool for the early Chinese nursing theory and practice.
