Introducción: Al sistematizar las diferentes definiciones sobre la investigación científica, se pueden identificar ideas comunes que ofrecen una comprensión más acertada sobre esta y que se puede resumir en considerarla como una actividad eminentemente humana que transcurre por etapas, lo que le da carácter de proceso que tiende al logro de un objetivo general, dirigido a caracterizar profunda y esencialmente un objeto de estudio, con el fin de resolver un problema científico, en cualquier campo del conocimiento y la praxis social; y que se desarrolla sobre la base de determinadas leyes, principios, categorías y metodología. Objetivo: Valorar las posibilidades de la investigación pedagógica en el campo de las Ciencias Médicas. Métodos: La dialéctica materialista como método universal del conocimiento y los propios del nivel teórico: histórico-lógico, analítico-sintético, inductivo-deductivo y el enfoque de sistema. Resultados: Una plataforma teórico metodológica para sustentar la aplicación de futuras investigaciones de corte pedagógico, en sus relaciones con las ciencias biomédicas(AU)

Methods: The dialectical one materialistic as universal method of the knowledge and those characteristic of the theoretical level: historical-logical, analytic - synthetic, inductive - deductive and the system focus. Propuestas de utilización de bibliografías para tratamiento de estrategias curriculares. Historia de Cuba II. Estomatología / Suggestions on how to use bibliographic references for dealing with curricular strategies. History of Cuba II. Dentistry

Introducción: El programa de la asignatura Historia de Cuba II carece de sugerencias de bibliografías que permitan a los docentes darle tratamiento a las estrategias curriculares plasmadas en el Plan D para la Carrera de Estomatología. Objetivo: Proponer el uso de bibliografías para el tratamiento de las estrategias curriculares en la asignatura Historia de Cuba II de la Carrera de Estomatología. Material y método: Investigación pedagógica de tipo descriptivo. Se utilizaron los métodos de análisis de documentos, búsqueda bibliográfica y taller metodológico. Resultados: Se localizaron 33 bibliografías y se elaboraron las propuestas de vinculación a las distintas estrategias curriculares en cada uno de los temas del programa de Historia de Cuba II de la Carrera de Estomatología. Conclusiones: Las bibliografías propuestas pueden contribuir a darles tratamiento a las estrategias curriculares en la asignatura Historia de Cuba II y favorecer la formación integral del estudiante de primer año de la Carrera de Estomatología(AU)

Introduction: The History of Cuba II syllabus lacks suggestions about bibliography that allow the teaching staff to deal with the curricular strategies in the Curriculum D in dental studies. Objective: To suggest the use of bibliographies for the treatment of curricular strategies in the subject History of Cuba II in Dentistry. Material and methods: A descriptive pedagogical research was conducted. Methods of document analysis, methodological workshop, and bibliographic review were used. Results: A total of 33 bibliographies were found, and proposals were made for linking curricular strategies in each of the topics of History of Cuba II syllabus for dental studies. Conclusions: The suggested bibliographies can contribute to the treatment of curricular strategies in the subject History of Cuba II, and favor the comprehensive training of the first- year dental students(AU)

El Sistema Educativo basa su eficacia, entre otros aspectos, en la evaluación, que lejos de entenderse como una medición de los productos y realizaciones escolares, es un acto obligatorio y una práctica reflexiva propia del docente, constituye hoy uno de los pilares del mismo Sistema. Una de las novedades del concepto de evaluación son los ámbitos donde se establece que se debe realizar. Junto a ella aparece hoy con fuerza y obligación legal la evaluación de la enseñanza. El presente trabajo aborda una problemática actual sobre la investigación pedagógica y su vinculación con la actividad educacional. La investigación pedagógica abarca lo que la pedagogía, psicología y metódica han desarrollado en los últimos años relacionado con este tema. Se amplían aspectos de relacionados con la necesidad de que el maestro, o profesor se vincule de manera directa a la investigación pedagógica, como la única vía de lograr cada vez una enseñanza mejor y de mayor calidad, que dé respuesta a la demanda cada vez más creciente del desarrollo de las ciencias(AU)

The educational system bases its effectiveness, among other aspects, on the evaluation, which far from being understood as a measurement of the school's products and achievements, it is a compulsory act and a reflective practice of the profesor, as it is today one of the cornerstones of the system itself. A new feature of the concept of evaluation is the areas where it is established to be performed. Close to it, learning evaluation today appears with legal obligation and force. This paper addresses a current issue on educational research and its association with the educational activity. Educational research covers what has been developed by pedagogy, psychology and the methodic science in recent years and that is related to this issue. Issues ere broadened as being related to the fact of the teacher's or professors' need for being directly related to pedagogic research, as the only way to achieve an increasingly better education and with a higher quality, which responds to increasing demand for the development of science(AU)

¿Qué y quiénes publican en la revista EDUMECENTRO? / What and who publish in EDUMECENTRO Journal?

Los resultados del estudio bibliométrico que se presentan resumen algunas características asociadas con el tipo de contenido publicado en la revista EDUMECENTRO durante sus cuatro años de vida divulgativa. Se indaga sobre cifras y tipologías de artículos por edición, temáticas más abordadas, palabras clave de mayor empleo, y autores más citados. Se explora además la procedencia geográfica de los autores (municipios y provincias), y sus afiliaciones institucionales, asimismo se precisan los autores y coautores que más han publicado en este espacio del quehacer investigativo educacional. Se realiza una breve caracterización de la revista, los elementos que distinguen el contenido de sus publicaciones, los autores y coautores de sus artículos, y constituye una constancia documental que refleja el quehacer científico educacional de qué y quiénes han publicado en ella.

The results of the bibliometric study which is presented in this work summarize some of the characteristics associated to the type of contents published in Edumecentro Journal in its four years of work. It searches about figures and typology of articles per edition, topics covered, most frequent key words and the most quoted authors. It also explores about the geographical areas of the authors (provinces, municipalities), and institutions, as well as the authors and coauthors with the greatest number of works in the researching educational field. A brief characterization of the journal is presented comprising the distinctive elements of the issues, authors and coauthors of these articles. This constitutes a vivid documental reference which reflects the scientific-educational work carried out in this territory and what and those who have published in this journal.
